Topic: Christian Safety
Preached by : Rev Dealyn George
Preached in : AFC Gboko, Benue state.
Scripture reading: proverbs 29: 25.
Summary :-
*A Christian is a sinner who has been saved by grace, one who does not commit sin.
* He that is saved dwells safely, you must have an encounter with God before you put your trust in him. Without an encounter you can not be safe.
* They that put their trust in God will be safe - Rahab had a trust in God and was saved with her entire household. America as a nation surrendered all to God and He has been their help for ages. America was the world power - I hope they're still the world power - because they had total trust in God. They that put their trust in God shall be secured.
* Who so ever shall put his/her trust in idols, charms or in persons shall be ashamed.
Psalms 20:7 some trust in chariots and horses- that's they trust in their way of escape, in the charms on their waste, the rings on their fingers and their gods that's do not have life. But we trust in our God.
*May God help you to remember the name of the almighty God in the time of trouble, and not the name of your husband or wife or relative. For the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous will run in to it and will be safe.
* Formula for Victory : 1sam 17 :45
May God help you to have an encounter with him today that will grant you safety in Jesus name. Amen
