1. Raising godly seed.
Exercising dominion means cultivating strong, godly relationships and nurturing children according to the ways of the Lord. God had faith in Abraham because he would ensure that his household remained committed to serving the Lord. Families represent the basic building blocks of society, and every flourishing society stems from well-established and healthy families. Jesus was sent by God to mend fractured family bonds and reconcile all of humanity with Him. In today’s world, the increasing divorce rates among young couples are concerning.
The primary goal of Satan in undermining the moral integrity of any society is to prevent the honoring of marriage and to devalue the importance of raising children with strong, godly values. The Roman Empire, one of history’s mightiest civilizations, achieved dominance across the globe through its formidable military and strategic acumen, lasting for more than 800 years. Yet, it was not military conquest that led to its downfall, but rather moral decay. Societies that prioritize divorce or same-sex marriage ultimately face destruction. For example, if same-sex marriage is highly valued within a society, there will be no means for population growth or the birth of future generations. Ultimately, as the population diminishes, the society becomes vacant.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” [ Malachi 4:5].
