TOPIC: MARKETING CARNALITY INSTEAD OF SPIRITUALITY

SCRIPTURE: And, behold, there met him, a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. Proverbs 7:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: We live in a generation that market the flesh and advertise carnality instead of spirituality.

Most people today dress to expose their bodies. Seductive and suggestive dressings have become the popular styles of dressing in our generation. We live in a generation that market the flesh and advertise carnality instead of spirituality.

Each time a person dresses in a seductive manner, the person only succeeds in advertising the body parts with unspoken statements like, “Everybody look at me, look at how big my hips are, just take a look at how seductive I am.”

When someone looks at a seductively dressed person, the first thing that comes to their mind is immorality. When you expose your body, you are directing people to eternal damnation; yet, you claim to be a child of God.

Where is the place of decency, decorum and dignity in our world today, especially among Christians? One of the worst things that can happen to a Christian is to become a tool in the hands of satan the devil unknowingly.

The devil gets his sons and daughters possessed with demonic spirits that make them to carry out his assignments, thereby leading many to hell. The tragedy is that many children of God have unconsciously joined the children of the devil to fulfil satan’s vision of leading people to hell by the way they dress.

When you look at men who are decently dressed, you will not see anyone with his chest exposed. Even if he is not putting on a tie, his shirt is properly buttoned up. But for the women, the opposite is the case. The cleavage of the chest must be left bare; the parts of the body that used to be hidden in those days are now being unashamedly exposed to their own damnation and the damnation of the world. The tragedy is that those seductive clothes are being worn by many to church. It ought not to be so.

Beloved, be determined to refuse worldly, seductive ways of dressing.

Remember this: We live in a generation that market the flesh and advertise carnality instead of spirituality.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse to market the flesh (carnality) through indecent dressing or other means.
2. Let people encounter your spirituality when they come around you.
3. Refuse to contradict and compromise your identity and spirituality by your physical appearance.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to positively reflect my Christian identity by the way I dress. I refuse to dress in ways that would jeopardize my eternity and those of others, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: BUILDING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD BY PRAYER

SCRIPTURE: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Prayer is the platform for the building, strengthening and developing of relationship between God and man.
The Scripture makes it clear that prayer is a platform for communion between God and man.
Matthew 6:9 says,
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

From the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:9-15, we understand prayer as the platform for the building, strengthening and developing of relationship between God and man. Jesus said; In this manner pray ye, our father which art in heaven…

You know, relationship must precede request. To be requesting things from a person you have no relationship with makes you a beggar. There are people who are begging and they think they are praying. If the relationship between a man and God is concrete, making requests always may not need to happen.

For example, I have a relationship with my wife for more than Twenty Eight years now. She does not need to beg me for things. It is not right if she is begging me or crying for things always. It is wickedness on the part of a man for his wife to be begging him for things if a relationship exists between the two of them.

Your siblings or parents also don’t need to beg you before you help them because you are related to them. This is how it is in the realm of the spirit; if you have a quality relationship with God, you don’t need to beg Him for things.

Remember this: Prayer is the platform for the building, strengthening and developing of relationship between God and man.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Build and develop your relationship with God consistently through prayer.
2. Refuse to live a prayer-less life.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to build, strengthen and develop my relationship with You consistently at the place of prayer. Deliver me from lukewarm and lethargic living, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT – A LANGUAGE THAT CONFUSES THE DEVIL

SCRIPTURE:
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8:26.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
When you pray in the Spirit, the Spirit of God communicates through your spirit with God the Father.

It has been confirmed that praying in tongues is praying above the understanding of demons.

When we pray in the Spirit, we bypass and confuse the opposition of the enemy.
When you pray in the Spirit, the Spirit of God communicates through your spirit with God the Father. This means, God the Spirit and God the Father are talking using your spirit as a mouthpiece, and the devil cannot understand.

A former occultic person once said that there are two ways to confuse the devil and his agents in the kingdom of darkness: one way is to shout or praise God loudly. That was what made the wall of Jericho collapse (Joshua 6:20).
Demons cannot stand an excited Christian.

Another way is to pray in tongues.
When you pray in the Spirit, the kingdom of darkness would be confused; they cannot understand you.

God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo once said that while they were holding a meeting in Kaduna one time, and a demonic agent of the other religion, said that over his dead body would the meeting hold. In fact, the meeting was already going on when he said that they should move out of the hall.
So, Papa Oyedepo went straight to the man in his office and held his hand and began to blast in tongues. The man began to shake on his seat. When he finished blasting in tongues, he said to the man, “With you dead or alive, we are holding the meeting.”

You see, this is the best way to handle a witch, native doctor or any agent of the devil that is trying to stop the fulfilment of God’s Purpose for your life; just release intercontinental ballistic missiles in tongues.
Speak into their body, spirit and confuse the demons out of their head.

Remember this:
When you pray in the Spirit, the Spirit of God communicates through your spirit with God the Father.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Deal with demons by praying in tongue always.
2. Do it habitually.

TOPIC: EVIL TREASURES

SCRIPTURE:
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
All possessions acquired with evil money are nothing but evil treasures.

It has been confirmed that any money that someone gets out of evil practice is evil money; it is unrighteous money.

For example, there are people who drive evil cars, dress in unrighteous cloths, live in ungodly houses because the money that was used to purchase those things were proceeds of evil practices.

For example, a person who is dressed with cloths purchased with evil money may look handsome or beautiful outwardly, but he or she is ugly inside and appears repulsive to God.

In Deuteronomy 23:18, the Bible says,
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a w***e, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abominations unto the Lord thy God.
A dog figuratively represents the spirit of immorality.

In Leviticus 19:29, the Bible also says:
Do not pr******te thy daughter, to cause her to be a w***e; lest the land fall to w***edom, and the land become full of wickedness.

Apart from the proceeds of prostitution or fornication, other examples of evil money are proceeds from bribery, corruption, armed robbery, ritual killing, the sale of alcohol, to***co, dangerous drugs and other harmful products whose consumption leads to people’s destruction. When a person markets or sells products like Co***ne, He**in, L*D (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide-a synthetic crystalline compound which is a powerful hallucinogenic drug), Indian h**p or Ma*****na, Dry Gin, Lager beer etc. that destroy people’s lives, the proceeds from these products is evil money.
Beloved, do not do evil to get money; such money is evil, and it can add nothing but destruction and sorrow to your life.

Remember this:
All possessions acquired with evil money are nothing but evil treasures.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to go after evil treasures.
2. Do not get money in dubious ways; work with your hands and trust God for legitimate ways of getting money

PRAYER:
Lord, I ask for the grace to work with my hands to get legitimate money. I refuse to indulge myself in evil practices for money, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE MEGA GOD

SCRIPTURE: …the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Genesis 17:1.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
When we look at the creation, and what God has created, we can imagine how big God is.
It has been confirmed that our God is mega and massive God. We can imagine how big and massive God is by the mega things He has created. When we look at the creation, and what God created, we can imagine how big God is.
For example, look at the size of the planetary bodies. Look at the stars. Stars vary in sizes. The neutron star is between 20 to 40 kilometres in diameters. There is a group of stars, that one star is one thousand five hundred times the size of the sun.

And there are about two hundred billion trillion stars. That is, two hundred with twenty one zeros at its back, 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000; that is the number of one segment of the universe.
Can you imagine that? That is the God we serve. If God has the capacity to bring all these out of Himself, then what is His size? Can you imagine the size of God Himself? And we were created in the Image and Likeness of the big, mega, massive, God.

You see, many times, when we tell people, “I will soon follow you to dedicate your aircraft, refinery, or a 5000-unit housing estate” some people would just look at another person and say, “I am not the one he is talking about.” They seem to be telling themselves: “I am looking for where to sleep, and the pastor is talking about aircraft, refinery, or 5000-unit housing estate.” They think like this because they don’t know who they are; they don’t know who made them. That is why they think like that. They don’t know their potentials, possibilities, or capabilities.

My counsel is, you must make up your mind not to think little or small.
With the revelation of who God is, I have made up my mind that I cannot be small, and my generation can never be small. I am moving into overflow dimension. Everything about my life, family, and destiny must be large, mega, and massive.
Therefore beloved, you must also make up your mind not to be small. You must refuse to be small. Refuse to think small.

Remember this:
When we look at the creation and what God has created, we can imagine how big God is.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to limit God by your mind-set.
2. Ask God for a fresh revelation of His Almightiness and ask Him to manifest Himself in your life.

SCRIPTURE:

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
To exist in distinction or excellence means to live an outstanding life.

Defining excellence or distinction is necessary because what is not defined cannot be found; what is not defined cannot be rectified; and what is not defined cannot be refined.

Mentality determines reality because what is not real in your mind cannot be real in your life. This means, to exist in excellence or distinction, there is a need to know what excellence or distinction is all about.

The question then is:
what is excellence?

1. It means to excel is to stand out in life.
To exist in distinction or excellence means to live an outstanding life. When a person exists in distinction or excellence, he stands out in life. A call unto excellence is a call unto an outstanding life. To exist in distinction or excellence is to live an outstandingly enviable life.

2. It means existence as a generational illumination.
To exist in distinction or excellence means to exist as a generational illumination or revelation. When you exist in distinction or excellence, there is “something” about you that lightens your world. Once you step into a place where there is darkness and depression, light appears because you are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14); you are a generational illumination or a generational revelation.

To exist in excellence or distinction is to exist as the light that gives hope to people, hope to your world.

Remember this:
To exist in distinction or excellence means to live an outstanding life.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind to stand out in life.
2. Let your life bring illumination and hope to others.

The Scripture reveals that passionate and desperate prayer is a secret of glory explosion.

This is the kind of prayer that is focused on your life’s assignment. It was the kind of prayer that Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Luke 9:29 says,
And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

Jesus seemed to be saying, “Father, You said I should go to the Cross, I am ready to go but can I have some details because I want to do it perfectly? I want to do what You want me to do with my Life. I don’t want to disappoint You and I don’t want to waste My life. Father, please help me to please You. Father, please let me not miss it. Let me not make the wrong moves, let me not take the wrong steps, let me not do what You have not asked me to do”.

As He prayed like this, the Glory of God exploded. God sent two messengers from Heaven, Elijah and Moses. God seemed to have told them, “Go to my Son and discuss with Him the content of His passion. Just give Him some understanding of the assignment ahead of Him; He is so bothered, He is so concerned, He is desperate”

Beloved, where you do not have interest, you cannot not have insight. God gives you insight in the area of your interest. They came to give Jesus that insight because His heart was passionate.

Remember this: Passionate and desperate prayer is a secret of glory explosion.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
To reach your destiny you must keep on learning.
Constant learning is a major attribute of great people.

Great people learn from everything. They get instructions from every occurrence.
To reach your destiny, you must keep on learning.

Those who never outgrow their needs for learning never stop their journey halfway. Coming to a point where you have nothing to learn from anyone anymore is to end your journey halfway.

There are people who claim to know it all and have it all, so they no longer learn anything from God or from man. Such people cannot go far in life.

There is no future for the arrogant because it takes meekness to learn.

There is no future for the proud who cannot ask questions.

Not admitting that other people know better than you is to be stagnated in life.

People who have achieved many things in life are the meekest and humblest of men. They are always with pen and paper in hand to write anything because life is full of lessons, and they are ready to learn. Even when a child coughs, they will take note of it because they have something to learn from it. They are desperate and passionate for knowledge; they know that if they can learn one more thing, they will move beyond where they are currently.
What you know is what brought you to your current level in life and to move to the next level, there is a need for a greater knowledge.

Beloved, don’t stop learning.

Remember this:
To reach your destiny you must keep on learning.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Always learn lessons from the experiences of life, especially the experiences of others.
2. Put every lesson you have learnt into practice.

PRAYER:
