These two men were driving on the road in Saudi Arabia when they collided. One of them had his car completely wrecked; may Allah compensate him for it.
Naturally, you’d expect both drivers to jump out and start a massive confrontation—making a public scene, calling the police, and refusing to let it go. But instead, they both got out and immediately checked on each other. "Are you okay? I'm okay." One told the other, "It’s not your fault, I’m the one who’s wrong."
At that very moment, the Maghrib Adhan sounded. They simply stepped aside and prayed together. This was a real-life moment, not a scripted scene. After they finished, they shook hands and actually became friends.
This footage was captured and went viral on major platforms, even leading a British newspaper headline today with: "Islam is the Religion of Tolerance." It reached American, Spanish, and British press, with everyone talking about it. People were moved by the reaction and the realization that forgiveness is truly greatness. May Allah grant honor to Islam and the Muslims.

The Islamic Ruling on Keeping the Beard
The beard holds an important place in Islamic teachings. It is not merely a cultural symbol, but a practice connected to the guidance of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Islamic scholars have discussed its ruling based on authentic Hadith and classical jurisprudence.
1️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ Had a Beard – Sunnah
It is well established in authentic narrations that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ kept a beard. Following his actions is known as Sunnah (the prophetic way).
Keeping a beard, therefore, is part of following the lifestyle and appearance of the Prophet ﷺ. Muslims who keep a beard with the intention of following him are rewarded for imitating his Sunnah.
2️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ Commanded to Keep the Beard – Wajib (Obligatory According to Many Scholars)
There are authentic Hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Trim the mustache and let the beard grow.”
“Be different from the polytheists; grow the beards and trim the mustaches.”
(Reported in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
Because these statements are phrased as commands, many classical scholars (especially in the Hanafi, Maliki, and Hanbali schools) considered keeping the beard Wajib (obligatory) for Muslim men.
According to this view, deliberately shaving the beard would be sinful.
3️⃣ Shaving the Beard – Haram (According to Majority of Classical Scholars)
Based on the prophetic command to let the beard grow, many scholars ruled that shaving it completely is Haram (forbidden).
Their reasoning includes:
It goes against a direct prophetic command.
It resembles non-Islamic customs historically discouraged in Hadith.
It changes the natural appearance created by Allah.
However, it is important to note that some scholars (particularly in certain later interpretations) considered it strongly disliked (Makruh Tahrimi) rather than absolutely Haram.
Difference of Scholarly Opinion
Islamic jurisprudence recognizes differences of opinion:
Majority classical scholars: Keeping the beard is obligatory.

From the plush, caramel-rich Medjool of Morocco to the firm, nutty Deglet Noor of Algeria and the dark, “holy” Ajwa of Medina, the Middle East and North Africa offer hundreds of distinct date types that vary wildly in taste and texture. From syrupy and soft to dry and bread-like, each serving a specific purpose whether enjoyed as a fresh snack, a natural sweetener in baking, or a traditional gift. More than just a superfruit, dates are a vital cultural cornerstone and a “desert staple” that have provided essential nutrition, hospitality, and spiritual significance to the region for millennia.

We often search for complex ways to increase our rewards, yet the Prophet (PBUH) pointed us toward something accessible to every single one of us, regardless of our wealth or status.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“Nothing is heavier on the Scale of Deeds than good character.” (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi)

Good character (Husn al-Khuluq) is not just about being “nice.” It is the discipline of the soul to remain patient when provoked, to be honest when it is difficult, and to show mercy to those who do not deserve it.

Your character is the silent dawah you give to the world every day. You might reach a rank through your manners that others struggle to reach through long nights of voluntary prayer.

Someone once said:
I was feeling overwhelmed by some personal problems, constantly overthinking and feeling suffocated. That was until I saw this scene at the hospital while visiting a friend.
A small child was walking through the hallway, holding a piece of biscuit in one hand and a urine collection bag in the other, quietly waiting for his turn for kidney dialysis.
In hospitals, there is an entirely different world. They don't talk about worldly desires, grand ambitions, or money. They only ask for health.
Alhamdulillah for every moment. There are people out there who wish for just one single day without pain.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about the Adhan
Anas b. Malik (RA) reported: They (the Companions) discussed that they should know the timings of prayer by means of something recognized by all. Some of them said that fire should be lighted or a bell should be rung. But Bilal was ordered to repeat the phrases twice in Adhan, and once in Iqama.

(Sahih Muslim 378b, Book 4, Hadith 3)

The adhan is such a sweet-sounding call to prayer. It is irreplaceable and wherever you go in the world, it is the same words, a similar tone and melody and a call to the soul. The call begins when you are born and the adhan is pronounced in your ear and continues your whole life. Alhamdulillah
