πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 10

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

It doesn't make bible sense to interpret earthly riches (material wealth) as the heavenly riches (riches of Christ). Many folks today come to God for the purpose of material prosperity. They see God as one who gives men earthly riches and this wrong mindset is obvious in their prayer and general worship life.

Romans 8:32; He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

The "all things" that God gives are eternal and they are enlisted in the pretest of the same chapter (i.e Romans 8:30).

Eternal riches is the realities of the man in Christ. What you have in Christ is permanent. Earthly wealth have only temporal value, they are not the reason for your redemption.

Ephesians 1: 3-14.

There are realities of heavenly riches. For example; salvation from death and corruption, gift and fruit of Holy Spirit, righteousness, power over sin, favour with God, authority over the devil and demons, living in health, among many others realities.

John 10:28; And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

The eternal God will not give temporal riches. The gift of eternal life is the hallmark of heavenly wealth meaning, your riches in Christ is eternally secured in Him.

1 Peter 1:23; Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Friends, your priority in life should be the riches in Christ that are in incorruptible. Earthly riches will loose value, the heavenly riches is the true riches that matters in this life and the life to come.

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 09

Romans 8:14; For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

It doesn't make bible sense to look for divine leading in wrong places, things and people when you have God's perfect leading from your inside through your regenerated spirit. God loves His children equally and in constant has unbroken relationship with them (Hebrews 13:5&1 John 3:1-2).

Galatians 4:6; And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Beloved, as far as God's leading is concerned, consulting things and men leads believers to idol worship or worship of men, why? God is leading you from within via the Holy Spirit so that you won't subject your life to people's predictions and opinions.

Ephesians 4:11-14.

It's the job of every ministerial office to teach God's word and teach believers the reality of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in them.

1 Thessalonians 5:23; And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Man is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body.

1 Corinthians 6:17; But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

The Holy Spirit becomes the spirit of the man in Christ and the regenerated spirit of man functions by revelation knowledge.

Hebrews 13:5; "...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Matthew 28:20; "...and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

John 14:16-18.

Friends in Christ, you can't be led astray in Him. Equip yourself with the accurate knowledge of God's word and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in you.

Trust the leading of Holy Spirit!

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 08

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)

It doesn't make bible sense to ascribe to grace temporal things. The Grace of God can only be seen within the framework of salvation only. Jesus who is grace personified came to provide what no man can provide, eternal things such as; Forgiveness (Ephesians 1:7 & Colossians 1:13-14), Redemption (Colossians 1:13-14), Justification (Romans 5:1), Anointing (1 John 2:27), Righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21), Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:3;4:30) and Deliverance (Colossians 1:12-14).

Titus 2:11; For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

God's grace only brings salvation. It has no connection with human activities such as; marriage, business, academics, career etc. Everything that God has done for humanity, and which has been made available to us in Christ is grace (Ephesians 1:3-4).

2 Corinthians 8:9; For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

The "poor" or "poverty" here means Jesus left His throne as God and put on humanity on earth. The Grace of God encompasses what God has done by coming to the level of man to take man to His level.

Romans 5:20; Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Vs 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Grace cures sin and its consequences. It gives the man in Christ an inheritance called "Salvation" (Acts 20:32).

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 07

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Beloved, It doesn't make bible sense for the man in Christ to be in worry, fear and anxiety. God's will for you is to live a worry and anxiety free life, simply because your heavenly Father is big enough to cater for you.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Trust God for a living. He is our burden Bearer who will never fail. He has promised not to leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Matthew 6:25-34

Do not let your worry, fear and anxiety weigh you down as you journey through life. If God takes care of the birds of the air, He has done more for you in Christ(2 Peter 1:3). Beloved, just cast your burdens upon Him and pray your burdens over to the Lord and He will take care of you.

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 06

2 Corinthians 3:6; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Beloved, it doesn't make bible sense for a believer not to be ministry minded. Every child of God is called into ministry. You simply start by raising disciples, preaching the gospel and making Jesus known in your world (Romans 1:16-17).

1 Peter 2:2; As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

It's the saints (believers) that do ministry. Also, you must know that ministry is the fruit of spiritual growth and the spiritual growth begins when you understand the message and this is because the word of God must be rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15).

2 Corinthians 5:17; Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Vs 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Vs 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Vs 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. Vs 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Close to the new birth experience is the ministry of reconciliation. Be aware that ministry begins and ends with the message of Christ, meaning that the message is the ministry. Ministry is not about you but about Him.

Matthew 28:18; And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Vs 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Vs 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:15-20

Friends in Christ, alongside the privilege of new birth comes the responsibility of telling the good news that got you saved to the world. Infact, angels cannot do this divine assignment for the Lord other than the born again folks.

Your call to the ministry of preaching the gospel is not an option but a command

1 Corinthians 9:16; For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

The ministry of soul winning is an unfinished work of Christ that God has given to the believers of Christ to finish. You can't be jobless preaching the gospel of Christ. Friends, be part of the labourers making their mark for Jesus in your generation.

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 05

"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." Galatians 5:13

Beloved, it doesn't make Bible sense to be a self- seeking believer (Christian). Infact, Christianity is predicated on love, giving and serving one another.

John 3:16; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God demonstrated His love for the world by giving His son. God's love is practical and our love walk towards one another ought to be as well.

Ephesians 5:21; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

God's word instructed that we should serve one another in love. How? Primarily to serve one another by rendering service in the different areas of our gifts, calling and talents to one another, such that needs are met and everyone is edified all together.

Ephesians 6:18; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Praying for one another is the believers' responsibility. We are to pray with the understanding of God's word for the salvation of men and that they will come to the knowledge of the truth (Ephesians 1:17-19& 1Timothy 2:3-4).

1 Corinthians 3:21; Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

2 Peter 1:3; According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

In the new testament, It doesn't make bible sense for the man in Christ to make himself the focus in the place of prayer always unlike the folks under the old testament do. Why? This is because all things are yours in Christ and the believer is in the same Christ meaning he has full access to all Christ has made available even before he prays. Jesus addresses a selfish prayer life in Matthew 6:25-34.

God gave freely. Just like God, we are to give.

Believers are instructed to give and we give to meet the needs of the saints. Believers have the obligation of giving in materialism to the following;

1. Saints (1 Corinthians 16:1)
2. Pastors and leaders (Galatians 6:6&1 Timothy 5:17)
3. The poor saints (Galatians 2:10).

God's love always drives us to serve other people freely and with joy. In God's kingdom, it is done by rendering service and not religion. As far as God's word is concerned, your service does not diminish you; rather, it elevates you.

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 04

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more." 2 Corinthians 5:16

Friends, it doesn't make any bible sense to know Jesus after the flesh. During the earthly ministry of Jesus, those who followed him did not know Him beyond the flesh, even the disciples (Apostles) were not exempted. Jesus' audience seek Him mostly for personal gains. Infact many folks see Him as neighbor, prophet, king, carpenter, miracle worker and others sees Him as a mysterious being (see Mark 6:1-6, John 4:19 & John 6:22-66).

John 14:8
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Vs 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Vs 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Vs 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

In the above texts, It was crystal clear that Philip's statement was the general stand point of all the other disciples (Apostles). They only knew Jesus after the flesh and not by revelation. Even Peter, who was the leader among the disciples, who by revelation identified Christ as "the son of the living God" later rebuked Jesus (see Matthew 16:13-23 ; 26:69-75).

Beloved, be aware that all the disciples and Jesus' audience in the four gospel were all limited in their knowing of Him (Jesus) beyond the flesh because of their unregenerated state (not born again) why? because Jesus hasn't died and resurrected unlike now that any man who believe the gospel is saved (Romans 10:9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:16&1 Timothy 2:3-4). The man in Christ now have capacity and right to know God in Christ via revelation knowledge only.

Friends, you can never know Jesus by looking at Him in the incarnation, you know Him via His death, burial, resurrection and ascension (Gospel) which is clearly explained in the Epistles (new testament). Read Luke 24:13-27.

PEACE!

πŸ“– BIBLE SENSE 03

"...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63

Friends, it doesn't make bible sense to be careless with your thoughts and words becasuse this defines the reality in your world. The man in Christ is born by the Word and he lives by the diet of the same word of God (1 Peter 1:23).

Interestingly, only the word defines your true identity. The word of God in your mouth goes ahead of you to chart your course and keep you in His will.

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

In Hebrew, the word "said" in the text above is "amar" meaning "to say" or "to speak" or "to utter." God's word is creative in nature. The first demonstration we see about God in the book of Genesis was to speak and this vividly points the fact that everything created was created via words.

Matthew 12:36; But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Vs 37; For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Jesus in the above texts spoke about the importance of words. In His earthly ministry, He healed and performed miracles via words.

Jesus defeated the devil when he was tempted in the wilderness by giving voice to the written word of God (Matthew 4:4).

Beloved, you are created to speak God's Word and it will always deliver on every promise it makes. Speak God's word the same way Jesus spoke the father's word. Speak God's word to your life, ministry, family, career and nation.

πŸ“–BIBLE SENSE 02

Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Vs 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Vs 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Friends, it doesn't make bible sense to think or see God as mysterious. In the church world today there are various description of God as. mysterious which is an insult on the sensibility of the bible and God's character.

As a matter of fact, the doctrine of God as a mysteries God originates primarily from ignorant of God's word and men giving the definition of God from human experiences and not from the experiences of the written word God.

What is mystery? In Greek, the word mystery is "musterion" meaning "a secret".

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: Mark 4:11

The mystery Jesus was referring to in the gospel was the holy Scripture (Genesis to Malachi). The mystery here was a person of Jesus who was a secret to those who were under the law. Why? Because of their limitations due to their natural state and not God's limitation.

Be aware that Jesus is conceived in the old testament and He's demystify (revealed) in the new testament (Epistles).

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:8-9

From the above texts, Jesus saying, "He that sees me as seen the father" connotes that their is no more mystery (secret) about God. Jesus has demystify the father. Jesus is conceived in the old testament and He's demystify (revealed) in the new testament (Epistles).

Moreover, their is no mystery in the so called items(things), days, nature and even the devil. Now, in Jesus we see the complete picture of the father. The father (God) is no more a mystery because He has been unveiled for all to see through the written word of God. God is no more a mystery.

Glory to Jesus!

πŸ“–BiBLE SENSE 001

In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. Jeremiah 31:29

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Friends in Christ , it's imperative to know that family patterns and generational curses do not exist for the man in Christ. All this began as a result of improper bible interpretation (teaching) in the church world.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Exodus 20:5

Ignorantly, the Bible passage above as been mis interpreted and used as a foundation for breaking generational curses, whereas that same scripture highlights God taking care of the iniquities to the third and fourth generation.

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Jesus died as both the scape goat and sacrificial lamb to shed His precious blood to redeem you from the so call family pattern and curses and give you total victory. God's commitment to free man from the law (curse) was revealed, fulfilled and established for us via redemption (Galatians 3:13).

By identification he became a sin and curse for us to receive freedom. He died corruptible death with us in His resurrection and raised incorruptibly (1 Corinthians 15:40-42).

Friends, you need a consistent accurate revelatory teachings of Christ to walk in your full dominion and freedom in Christ. Be wise!
