The Holy Spirit is our guide, and we should only act when led by Him. Don't succumb to pressure; there's a time for everything, as Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us. Cultivate a spirit attuned to God's voice in your daily life. How can you discern His voice? It will always align with His Word, His perfect plan, and His timing for your life. The devil, on the other hand, can never lead you to good. He lacks the fruits of the Holy Spirit. You can easily identify those who hear God clearly by their fruits. Pay attention to divine leading; it's worth listening to God. It saves you from much trouble.

"Serving God isn't easy, is it?"

I was preaching to a young man and,
The young man's words hung in the air, a weight of truth that echoed in my own heart. He was wrestling with the cost of discipleship, the sacrifices it demanded. "I know what you're saying is true, Pastor Seun," he continued, his voice laced with both hope and fear, "but giving up my business, leaving my old friends, changing my whole lifestyle... it feels like I'm stepping into a boring life with no guarantee. What if I fall? What if I struggle and still end up lost?"

I sighed, understanding his anxieties. It's a struggle many face, the fear of losing everything for something that seems uncertain. "It's true," I said, "that many Christians struggle, even after being born again. But the truth is, Christianity is simple, a matter of abiding by the principles of God's Kingdom. It's not about being perfect, but about seeking His grace every day."

"To stay on fire for God," I continued, "you need to make a commitment. First, pray for His grace every day. Second, immerse yourself in His Word. Without daily devotion, we become vulnerable to temptation. Reading and praying with the Bible is the foundation of a vibrant faith. Third, don't isolate yourself. Find a community of believers, a family that holds you accountable and lifts you up when you stumble. And finally, give yourself to prayer. In prayer, you behold the glory of God, and the more you behold Him, the more you become like Him. It's in this intimacy that sin loses its power, and you walk with a confidence that transcends the world."

THINGS THAT MAY SOON BE SHAMEFUL TO SAY PUBLICLY UNLESS YOU ARE COURAGEOUS OR READY TO FACE PERSECUTION FOR THE LORD:

1. That you are a Christian.
2. That fornication is a sin.
3. That God prospers his own.
4. That prayer and fasting are necessary.
5. That Jesus is the only way.
6. That heaven and hell are real.
7. That God protects the righteous.
8. That there is an attire of a Christian guided by modesty and there is an attire of a harlot.
9. That faith without work is dead.
10. That God made them male and female. No in-between.
11. That sin is still sin and a reproach.
12. That miracles are acts of God and that God still do miracles.
13. That marriage is between male and female; natural man and woman.
14. That s*x before marriage is a sin.
15. That a believer should give for kingdom advancement through the Church or believers assembly, especially through tithe, offerings and others.
16. That the Church is the body of Christ.
17. That genuine pastors are servants of God, and that they are many.
18. That parents are to be honored and that family is divine.
19. That we should cast out devils in the name of Jesus.
20. That there is a hereafter life, after death and that there is resurrection of the death or being caught-up.
21. That believers are those saved by grace, through faith.
22. That we are the righteous of God in Christ Jesus and should live righteously.
23. That Satan is real and still oppresses people, and that some people really need deliverance.
24. That the Bible is an encapsulation of God's word.
25. That God gives children; they are a heritage from the Lord.
26. That every believer should belong to a physical assembly of believers.
27. That truth should only be spoken in love, not necessarily through criticism.
28. That there is no sinner God cannot save, no sin the blood of Jesus cannot wash away. I believe in the gospel that saves and keeps.
29. That Jesus is the son of God.
30. That every believer must be a soul winner.
31. That we have God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit - in trinity.

I grew up thinking these are what everyone easily believes, especially in the Church, till sometime ago.

I believe all these.
Whether I win an argument or not.

Most importantly, I am a Christian.
A born-again.
