WHEN LIFE SEEMS TO SAY “NO”… JESUS STILL SAYS “YES”! 🙌🏽

Today’s service reminded us of a powerful truth: our circumstances do not have the final say—Jesus does!

From Ecclesiastes 3:17–19, Pastor J.O.S Adeboye, our General Overseer, encouraged us not to fix our eyes on the non-blossoming fig tree, the fruitless vine, the failing olive, the unyielding fields, or the empty folds and stalls.

When everything around you seems to be saying “NO,” look to Jesus and hold firmly to what He has said concerning you in His Word. His Word remains true, regardless of what you see.

Jesus came as the promised Seed of the woman—born of God’s incorruptible seed, yet coming in the likeness of man to redeem the sons of men.

Where sin brought captivity, Christ brought redemption. 🙌🏽

Our freedom is found in believing in His finished work. The work is finished. The price is paid. ✝️

THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE | YOUTH SUNDAY 💫

Today, we were reminded that your background does not have to determine your future.

Drawing from the life of Daniel, our message, “The Pursuit of Excellence”, showed us how God can lift a man from a difficult and seemingly hopeless background and promote him to become preferred above others.

Daniel stood out because “an excellent spirit was found in him.” And that excellent spirit is the Spirit of Christ in a man—the difference-maker that enables us to live above our circumstances and bring glory to God.

And what better way to grow in Christ than in the company of people who encourage you, notice when you’re absent, celebrate your victories and make the journey of faith sweeter? ❤️

Church is more than a place we come to worship. It is a family. And sometimes, one of God’s beautiful gifts to us is a church bestie. 🤗
