*💢MESSAGE💢*
Everything God created was created for a purpose, God has a reason for creating everything, and nothing He creates is useless.
_Revelation 4:11_ Says that all things were created for God's pleasure, therefore, we were not created only to exist; we were created to serve God and fulfil His purpose.
_Romans 12:1_ Teaches us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, our lives should therefore become an act of service to Him.
_Genesis 17:1_ Also reminds us to walk before God faithfully and live a life that pleases Him.
*1. WE ARE CREATED FOR SERVICE*
Everything God created has a purpose.
The sun, moon, stars, plants, animals and human beings all have their purposes. In the same way, God created every part of our bodies for a purpose.
Our lives should not be lived only for ourselves, we are created to serve God, serve others and fulfil God's purpose on earth.
*2. GOD CREATED OUR LEGS FOR A PURPOSE*
Our legs are not only for walking from one place to another. They can be used in the service of God
-To dance and rejoice before God
_Psalm 150:4_
We can use our bodies to praise and worship God.
-To move and spread the Gospel
Our feet can take us to places where we can share the Word of God and minister to others. _Acts 3:1–8_
*3. GOD GAVE US EYES TO SEE*
God gave us eyes so that we can see His creation and recognise His glory.
_Psalm 19:1_
Therefore, we should not use our eyes for things that dishonour God, we should use them to see opportunities to serve, help others and glorify God.
*4. GOD CREATED OUR MOUTH TO PRAISE HIM*
Our mouth is another instrument of service.
We should use our mouth to:
-Praise God
-Sing to God
-Testify of His goodness
-Encourage others
-Preach His Word
-Speak words that glorify Him
_Psalm 47:1, Psalm 66:1_
*5. GOD CREATED US TO BE FRUITFUL*
God did not create us to remain barren or unproductive. From the beginning, God commanded mankind to be fruitful and multiply, He expects our lives to produce results. _Luke 13:6–9_
Our service should produce:
-Spiritual growth
-Good works
-Changed lives
-Souls winning for Christ
-Positive impact
*6. NOT EVERY SERVICE IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD*
It is possible to serve God but still serve Him in a way that is not acceptable. _1 Samuel 15:13–15_
God is not only interested in what we do; He is also interested in how and why we do it, service without obedience is not acceptable service.
*7. OBEDIENCE IS A KEY TO ACCEPTABLE SERVICE*
_Exodus 17:8–13_
God's work requires obedience, cooperation and commitment.
Do not compare your service with another person's service, serve God faithfully with what He has given you.
*8. OUR WORK WILL BE EXAMINED*
Everything we do on earth will one day be examined. _1 Corinthians 3:13_
Serve God even when nobody is applauding you.
*9. WE WILL GIVE ACCOUNT FOR WHAT GOD GAVE US*
_Luke 12:47–48_
Jesus teaches that those who were given much will be required to give much, God has given every person something so let's make the best use of it.
*💢CONCLUSION💢*
Acceptable service is not just doing something for God; it is doing what God wants, in the right way, with the right heart.
We were created for a purpose.
Our eyes, mouth, hands, legs, strength, talents and resources should all be instruments of service to God, let's not live a fruitless life.
*💢DECLARATION💢*
Lord, help me to discover my purpose, serve You faithfully and make my service acceptable before You.
