KNEELING TO RUN
The kneeling Christian has the most mobile, most lethal, and most effective arsenal in the realm of the spirit. The consequences of effectual prayers on the physical world are eternal and irrevocable.
We run faster on our knees than on our toes because destiny is not sustained by speed but by surrender. We can fly, run, and walk by the power of prayer.
Prayer outruns effort.
Intercession covers distances that human strength cannot survive.
The race is not preserved by agility but by alignment. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31)
Here lies the paradox of our generation:
Fathers are still heavily in the race, while youths are fainting.
Not because the fathers are stronger in body, but because they are deeper in roots.
Fathers have learned that the anointing of the Holy Spirit does not fall by applause or platforms, but by prayer crushings in the closet.
“The youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall…” (Isaiah 40:30)
Yes, there is a huge carnage of failing and falling youth.
Yet the fathers have endured over time, not because years preserved them, but because yielding to God sustained them.
They carry scars, not filters.
Altars, not aesthetics.
They discovered the mystery Paul unveiled when he said, “I die daily.” (1 Corinthians 15:31)
That is why they are still...
standing.
Still kneeling.
Still running.
We can’t disembark because the baton is still in our hands, the cloud of witnesses is still watching from the heavenly galleries, and heaven is still counting laps.
This race offers no comfort zones, but it ends in glory.
This is a calling and a holy fight against darkness. We fight to the finish...
No exits.
No intermissions.
No early retirement.
This journey forbids disembarkation because heaven has already invested its name in your arrival.
Until that day...
we kneel,
we pray,
we endure,
we press.
Those who finish well are those who never stepped off the track.
This is a wake-up call to pray!
