Today's teaching reminded us that the Church "the man in Christ" has been made the house of prayer. Through the finished work of Christ, the Spirit has been poured out lavishly, granting every believer bold access into God's presence (Hebrews 10:19).

Prayer is not a liberty we struggle to create; it is a reality already made available through Christ. Our responsibility is to lay hold of this provision and walk in it by faith.

From Zechariah 12:10, we learned that the Spirit of grace and supplication is the Holy Spirit expressing Himself in and through believers, producing earnest, Spirit-aided prayer.

Just as the fountain opened in Zechariah 13:1 was for cleansing, God's grace prepares us to stand before Him and pray with confidence rather than human effort.

Finally, we were challenged to "catch" this spirit of prayer by continually exposing ourselves to God's Word and by staying in the company of people who carry this grace.

God's desire is not that we merely pray, but that we pray with ease under the influence of the Holy Spirit. As we remain yielded to Him, the burden of prayer is sustained by the Spirit, and our lives increasingly become true houses of prayer.

The Scriptures show us that prayer is not to be approached casually or according to our feelings. We are called to pray fervently, continuously, and without ceasing.

Fervency speaks of intensity. It is praying with your heart, with energy, and with a deep conviction that God hears and answers. Prayer is not something we do half-heartedly; we give ourselves to it.

We also pray with persistence. We don't stop simply because we have not yet seen the answer. We keep praying, trusting God and standing on His Word.

This week and beyond, learn to pray fervently. Pray continuously. Pray persistently. Give yourself to prayer.

What do we pray about? How do we pray? Who do we pray for? These are important questions, but most importantly, why do we pray?

Prayer is rooted in the will of God. Scripture reveals His will: that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We have been saved to serve and to bring others into the same light.

A minister of the Gospel must pray.

In prayer, God aids and prepares us for the work. You cannot be a man of the Word without being a man of prayer. Prayer changes situations, moves mountains, and, most importantly, changes YOU.

Prayer situates us in the centre of God's will.

This week and beyond, don't be casual about prayer. Stretch yourself in the place of prayer, give yourself to it. Pray until your heart is aligned with God's will and your hands are strengthened for the work.

The life of every believer is guided by seasons, and discerning the season you are in is vital.

In this Month of Liberty in Prayer and Answers from Heaven, it is important that we are more conscious of the ministry of angels, especially in the life of the believer who prays. The operation of angels and the life of prayer are inseparable. Throughout Scripture, we see that fervent prayers often bring about massive angelic ministration

As we go into this week and beyond, give yourself wholeheartedly to prayer. Be intentional about what you feed your mind with, guard the words that proceed from your mouth, and remain expectant of divine intervention.

It has been two days, and we are still revelling in the proceeds of Dunamis Sunday!

Through the mighty utterances that came from the lips of God's sent man to us, we have experienced the supernatural help of God.

Testimonies abound, and we can boldly declare:

God's help is for us,
Today, tomorrow and always.

Indeed, we have seen the hand of God, and we give him all the glory!
