FRIDAY OCTAVE OF CHRISTMAS YEAR B.

DIVINE ASSURANCE:
Humans are always happy and live better when they are assured of the future and their beneficial relationship.
These span through material and spiritual realms of human endeavors. In the first reading,we have the divine assurance that, those who can lay claims the love God are those who keep his commandments. Jesus makes this clear by his teaching, " If you love me, keep my commands." John 14:15. Keeping the commandments of God is senonemous to loving God. Anything other than this, is a show of lies. This is at the centre of Christianity, that is the love of God and of neighbors. Jesus explains further that, " whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." John 14:21
The most assured way to show or flaunt your Christianity without flaunt is to love. Love in the secret and in the open. Love the poor and the lonely. Love everyone and God will place you in the class of those who love him.
PRAYER:
Lord, grant us the grace of love....to love you and our neighbors especially those in need. Lord, let love lead in our lives. May God show you more love as you love him and your neighbors, through Christ our lord. Amen.
