*THE GAIN AND THE PAIN OF DISCIPLINE*.

Praise God !
“My son, do not reject or take lightly the discipline of the Lord [learn from your mistakes and the testing that comes from His correction through discipline]; Nor despise His rebuke, For those whom the Lord loves He corrects, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭Amp.

*_DISCIPLINE; Is the practice of training people ( someone ) to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience_*
In your walk with God . You will discover there is time and season of pruning ( which is actually discipline ) in which God create room for you to be more productive.
Many baby Christain always think it’s the Devil punishing them when being discipline by their Heavenly Father.
When we let God do this , He increases our ability to access greater capacity to fulfill our destiny in Him.
Some times many remain obstinate .
*_OBSTINATE ;*_
stubbornly refusing to change one’s opinion or a chosen course of action, despite attempts to persuade one to do so._*
Or become recalcitrant
*_RECALCITRANT;_ Having an obstinately uncooperative attitude towards ( divine) authority or discipline _*
Are you obstinate or recalcitrant in the sight of God unknowingly?
There are two types of pain in this world.
1) The pain of discipline.
And
2) The pain of regret.
Anyone who rejects or tries to escape the pain of discipline must surely meet the pain of regret. *And learn how things should not be done*
It’s best to yield oneself to God fatherly correction , especially when He has used the voice of his anointed ones to speak to us to persuade us to do what is needful.
Many Christians are blaming the devil or glorifying their rebellion and disobedience to divine discipline.
Some will even carry out partial obedience which is equivalent to total disobedience in God’s sight.
We should let God prune us and add to us what is needed for our destiny to shine gloriously in line with His will .
_God does not give second instruction or lesson when the first one has not been obeyed or learned._
*_REPETITIVE DISCIPLINE:*_
*The LORD will keep repeating the lesson painfully with discipline until we learn it .*
And sadly we may loose too many things if we delay or waste His divine timing.
*Some divine timing is once in ten years or life time* !!
DON’T WASTE DIVINE TIMING !! It's too dangerous ( I speak from painful experience with the Lord. )
_I delayed my calling and paid the price of ten years, three months, three weeks and three days on Death Rows._
I obtained mercy.

Be Disciplined ! and fulfill your destiny in God joyfully.
PRAISE THE LORD !!

I don’t want to theologize here ... but make this very simple for you to assimilate.
Often we let people opinions of us determine how we see ourself.
You must not allow a mirror to define you !
Here is the truth....
“The mirror reflects it doesn’t DEFINE!”
What you see in the mirror is like what others saw when they look at you.
But what defines you is what is inside you that others cannot see .
So ... don’t let anyone define you by your reflections .
You are not ugly or poor or weak or timid or lazy or foolish or a failure just because someone said so.
Someone ; including your parents, friends, husband, wife , lecturer , colleagues or Boss.
YOU are the only one who knows exactly what you are ‘INSIDE YOU” . You alone knows how beautiful, strong, rich , intelligent, powerful, joyful, lovely, smart, happy, successful, and positive you are inside YOU.
Don’t ever allow anyone to define you by your reflection or their opinions and perception of you .
That is their opinion and choice not yours. They are entitled to it.
But what you know inside you and think of yourself is really what you are and that is what you will become ultimately!

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:.......”

What you think and say of yourself so you are !
Not what people think of you.

LET THE MIRRORS REFLECT....But you DEFINE!!
Take time today to reflect on some negative reflections and opinions of others you have accepted as definition of “YOU” and trash 🗑 it .
Above all ;
You are wonderfully and fearfully made .
