WHEN TRANSFORMATION IS NO LONGER CELEBRATED
There’s a reason why what is supposed to move forward in Christendom keeps going back and forth.
It’s because many who claim to have received the message are still just hearers… not doers.
Tell me why someone who says, “I’m born again,” will discourage a lady who has genuinely repented from fornication from boldly saying she is choosing purity until marriage.
Why silence repentance?
Why make transformation look like something to hide?
“She didn’t know when she started it, so she shouldn’t say she has stopped.”
Really?
That mindset is dangerous.
Because repentance is not about how you started, it’s about the decision to stop and turn back to God.
And the truth is, when someone truly encounters Christ, change is not something to be ashamed of, it is something to testify about.
It’s disappointing when the same voices we hear on the pulpit are the ones downplaying genuine transformation.
Let’s not forget: Christ didn’t come for the righteous, but for sinners.
And when sinners come to Him, they are not meant to remain the same.
If we can’t celebrate repentance, then what exactly are we preaching/believe in?
