GLORY FOCUS: 5 WAYS THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES WEALTH (PT 5)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2

INTRODUCTION:
5. Holy Spirit gives wealth by giving you creativity.

Intellectual property which is the outflow of creativity is one of the most lucrative assets you can own. If you write a book, make your own art or graphics (even in t-shirt format!), release a song, or do any other creative thing that you can offer to the world, there can be HUGE money in that.

The Spirit is the original Creator Genesis 1:2. He doesn’t just bless what you do; He shows you what to do. Just like the Bible says “I have filled him with the Spirit of God… to devise artistic designs” Exodus 31:3-4, it is your turn to become an inventor, God bless bless you beyond reproach.

Wealth flows from creating what didn’t exist. Bezalel got tabernacle blueprints, David got worship innovations, Jacob got breeding strategy, it is your turn to break records because creativity is Heaven’s currency for earth, you will not lack Godly wisdom. While others compete, the Spirit makes you create new lanes, products, and solutions.

Ideas from the Holy Spirit carry anointing to break market ceilings and fund Kingdom. So don’t beg for money; host the Creator. Your next invention, song, app, or system is your wealth transfer. Ask daily: “Holy Spirit, what should I create?” He answers. Then build.

(Note that I said that “YOU” can offer to the world. If you give away your rights to your intellectual property and let someone else sell it for you, that could be lucrative–but it could also not be lucrative. Someone else could take most or all of your profits. However, if you keep your rights, you keep 100% of the profit. Be careful about what you define as “a good deal” or “a good opportunity”!)

Most people have no concept of the wealth they could accumulate by being diligent to produce creative works.

But the opportunities to create wealth from your creativity and from the byproducts of your creativity are virtually unlimited. For example:

One book may not make you a fortune, but the investments in mutual funds you could make from that one book could. And that one book could also pay off your car note. How much better would you feel if you didn’t have a car payment every month?
Two books may not make you a fortune, but ten books or twenty books could pay off some bills. What kind of change would that produce in your life?

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:

INTRODUCTION:
4. He will help you start your own business.

The wisdom that Holy Spirit gives will make you discontent with always “working for a man.” Why? Because Proverbs 31 says that the virtuous person is an entrepreneur and an investor–not a slave to others.

There’s nothing wrong with working for someone else for awhile, or in a transitional season. BUT, the Word of God does command each of us to become entrepreneurs. THAT is where the real wealth is.

What if you’re working for someone else right now? Well, that’s fine as long as you don’t hate your job. If your job makes you miserable, however, it may be time for a change. And if you’re tired of living your life subject to the whims and dictates of your job, again: it may be time for a change.

(But NOTE: Never quit your job without a backup plan. First Timothy 5:8 says, “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” You have to be able to provide for your own self and for your own obligations, even if you’re doing it by faith.)

But the Lord DOES command that we should all be investors and entrepreneurs.

It is the Lord Himself who places the desire for freedom within us, even when it comes to our jobs and businesses. It is God who causes us to yearn to be released from bondage in every way. And it is the Lord who stirs up the desire in you to improve your situation!

How can you improve your situation if you hate your job? Well, of course you can get a different job. That is a great start. But, that may be only a temporary solution.

The permanent solution to financial freedom is to own your own business.
Starting a business is wisdom; you can’t possibly be “the head and not the tail” if you don’t own your own business. Even being a middle manager, a corporate executive, or a CEO doesn’t make you the head and not the tail unless you own the whole business outright. (Yes, even the CEO reports to the Board of Directors and the shareholders!)

Owning your own business is literally the ONLY way you can be the head, and not the tail. What are you waiting for?

GLORY FOCUS: 8 DIFFERENT WAYS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT (PT 4)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." Romans 8:14

INTRODUCTION:
7. Cultivating the Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Romans 12:3-8

This passage refers to Spirit-given gifts. These are gifts God gives to each of us for the purpose of serving and equipping each other and for the mission of Jesus in the world.

Gifts aren’t trophies; they’re tools for service. “Earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially prophecy” 1 Corinthians 14:1. You cultivate them like a garden, not like a lottery.
1. Stay filled: hunger attracts impartation.
2. Practice: David used his sling on lions before Goliath. Prophecy, healing, wisdom, and discernment grow with use.
3. Stay submitted: gifts flow safely under accountability.
4. Study: Paul told Timothy “fan into flame the gift” 2 Timothy 1:6.

Reading, mentoring, and fasting are fertilizer. Motive matters; love is the soil 1 Corinthians 13. Gifts make room for you, but character keeps you in the room. Ask daily, obey quickly, and steward faithfully. The Christ need your gift activated, not admired.

If you've never really explored discovering and using your gifts from the Holy Spirit, this is a key way the Holy Spirit leads us all in the Christian life.

8. Going on Holy Spirit assignments:
Assignments prove intimacy. “The Spirit told Philip, ‘Go to that chariot’” Acts 8:29. He still gives instructions: pray for that person, start that business, leave that deal, go to that city. Holy Spirit assignments rarely make sense to logic but always carry glory. They disrupt comfort to establish Kingdom. Obedience is the only qualification.

Delayed obedience is disobedience, and it costs people their miracle. You don’t need the full map; you just need the next step. Like Abraham, “he went out, not knowing where” Hebrews 11:8. Provision is in the assignment, not the bank account. Angels are activated by your yes. Signs follow sent ones. Ask Him daily: “Who needs me today?” Then move. History is written by people who left the house when the Spirit said go.

GLORY STEP:
You've got options for growing your relationship with the Holy Spirit now. 8 of them. Choose one, set a pattern, go for it for a month, and do it with others in our church community.

Pray and talk concerning all the 8 different ways to build a relationship with God via the Holy Spirit.

GLORY FOCUS: 8 DIFFERENT WAYS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT (PT 2)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." Romans 8:14

INTRODUCTION:
Think partnership, not performance. The Holy Spirit is God in you, not God visiting you. “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit” 1 Corinthians 6:19. Temples are lived in, not toured. You don’t use the Holy Spirit for results; you walk with Him and results follow. Business strategy, family peace, and boldness all come from friendship, not formulas.

3. Read/ Listen to the Bible by yourself: Hebrews 4:12

This verse describes the powerful living and active influence of the Bible on our hearts. We can't avoid getting together in community for this, but God also wants us to personally experience the Bible's living and trans-formative influence on us as individuals.

Personal Word time is non-negotiable. Because “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word” Matthew 4:4. No one can eat for you, and no one can hear for you. Pastors, podcasts, and posts are supplements, not substitutes. When you open Scripture alone, the Holy Spirit becomes your Tutor John 14:26. He personalizes promises, convicts privately, and gives strategy for your exact season.

Joshua was told to “meditate on it day and night… then you will be prosperous” Joshua 1:8. Because in this kingdom revelation precedes elevation. Put the world on audio while driving, read one chapter before business, journal one verse. Consistency and intensity are needed. Your spirit must eat daily. This is how you renew your mind and recognize God’s voice everywhere else.

The Holy Spirit is the living and active influence at work through the reading of the Bible.

4. Pray by yourself: Luke 5:16
Jesus, as our model, had a very close relationship with God the Father. How did He cultivate this close relationship? Lots of time alone together with His Father. This is not nearly as easy for us, fast paced and busy as our lives are, but it is necessary to grow in.

Private prayer is power in secret. “When you pray, go into your room… and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly” Matthew 6:6. No crowd, no performance just you and God. It’s where identity is formed, instructions are given, and burdens are traded. Consistency in the closet produces authority in public.

The Holy Spirit is experienced in this more personal and private way and the results are life-changing.

Take your personal relationship with the Holy Spirit very seriously.
