Where's Your Faith?
While we were doing the costing for the next stage of the church building project, that's the pillars. The Engineer made a high demand for granite and I objected at first because we have about 5 tons on site. “Can you just subtract the 5 tons from this quotation, the bill is high 🥹”. The engineer said something that got me thinking, he said “we can't use those granites because they are not pure again, they have been mixed with the sands that came out during the foundation stage”.
I was studying mark 9:22&24 and I wonder why this man will act like he doesn't really know how powerful Jesus is (“if you can help please do”), but the truth is that he's being sincere.
Then I went to the preceding verses (from verse 15) and I observed that certain things can fan doubts within us and the major fuel for doubt is our past.
Just like the sands from the foundation (past) affect the granite in it's present state, focusing on our negative past makes us have less reasons to be grateful to God, thus affecting our faith 🤦♂️.
Remembering how long the issue and steps you've taken can even make your faith ‘shake’.
Some have gotten to the point where they personalized the problem, you hear people saying “that my sickness have started again”, “marriage is not for everyone and I know myself that's why I'm focusing on my work”, “I no know which kind family I enter sef, na so bro B just go like that, 2yrs ago bro A go at that same age, thank God I be last born, I still get 10 years make I enjoy life small”.
The good news is that God has plans for us, we must come to Him in faith!

Your past won't last; where's your faith?
He has promised to do a new thing!
This is our year of Great Laughter 💃🙌🙏
So, in this new year continue to make demands with faith 💪🙏
, Faith comes by observing His Word while doubts comes when we observe the world!
