It it's important to always protect God's Character. God was never cruel enough not to tell Israel He was a trinity as currently taught. God cannot lie so He was very clear to tell Israel He is One God. Likewise He made humans in His Image.
The only problem the Jews have with Jesus Christ is their interpretation of what their Prophets told them from God, about God. They feel the Gentiles have made an idol, which is clearly forbidden in the Scriptures, out of a man.
God is Spirit. No human has seen God because He cannot be seen with human eyes.
God was alone and chose to expand Himself, so He could fellowship with beings who understood His many Abilities. Humans were to be that Being.
So you might say the first '’visible" part of God He projected out of Himself was the Greek word, Logos.. the Word.. maybe It looked like a pillar of fire.. From, through, That, Creation began.
Jesus Christ is the permanent human body, God created in Mary, that God created for Himself to step in.
The Holy Spirit is God. God is Spirit. God is the Father in that He is the Head of All.
True Christians that the Spirit of God enters, joining itself to their Soul in the rebirth, are the Body of God … God expanding Himself in human flesh.
God will never be alone again.
The doctrine of the trinity actually limits God's expansion. It was a confused answer when it was made.
There will be a King, Jesus Christ.. There will be a Queen, the multi membered Body, True Christians.. There will be a Kingdom, the whosoever wills… All living in Perfect Happy Oneness :)
It's a beautiful Plan.
The Father is the Spirit and Jesus Christ is His permanent human Body that is called the King.
Peter clearly understood when he came out after the upperroom conversion Jesus's last parable/mystery of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost of Matthew 28. That is why Peter answered as He did.. to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. He wasn't saying that to just match his culture or the listener's life style. He said It because He had the answer to the Matthew 28 'mystery' spoken by Jesus. He didn't disobey Jesus, he simply unravelled the mystery.
ps. It is important to know that the Word 'name' in Bible days meant 'all the characteristics of'’. Today we think of the word as just a lettered representation to call something. However in their day, to say you are doing something in a person's name meant you were representing everything about them and their character.
So the NAME of the father, and the son, and the holy spirit.. was the mystery.. And God said the NAME that people must receive, believe, say and to do everything in.. if Jesus. Jesus the Anointed or Christ, and completed.. the LORD Jesus Christ.
The name Jesus actually means Jehovah Savior. It is the Father/HolySprirt revealing He is also a Saviour of humanity by creating for Himself a permanent human body that The SpiritFather would step in to communicate with other humans as the Head of the Body.
For a person to be saved they must accept this further unfolding of God as Savior.. or the relationship ends.
