Which anthem did you grow up singing? 🇳🇬

Nigeria has had two. The first was sung on the day of independence in 1960. The second, put together from the words of five Nigerians, shaped a generation from 1978. In 2024, the first one came home.

An anthem is the one sentence every citizen is asked to say together, whatever else divides us.

So here is the question the words have never stopped asking: can many tongues become one voice?
