I’ve been thinking about our generation lately….

How people have started taking certain liberties in their conduct and calling them the “new normal”

How some behaviours unbefitting of kingdom sons and daughters are covered up under “wokeness.”

How online mediums are evolving into platforms to peddle unkind and hurtful customs.

I’ve been thinking. And I am only compelled to pray. To pray that the God of the heavens and the earth floods our hearts with His truth, such that our generation awakens to a new sense of pleasing the LORD in ALL THINGS.

We must not allow the god of this world to blind our eyes from seeing what GOD sees, and living as God pleases.

Like a child's voice is to their mother, so also is your voice to your heavenly Father.

You may think He is holding on to your wrongs and mess-ups, and not listening to your prayers. Breaking news, dear kingdom siblings. He is ALWAYS listening to you.

Anything or ANYONE that makes you feel like God can never listen to "someone like you" or answer your prayers is inspired by the father of all lies, the d3vil himself

Nothing and no one has the power to guilt-trip or shame you. They cannot!

This one rings hard because, too often, we are held back by the guilt we feel for not:

- Achieving things within a timeline
- Dancing to the expectations of others
- Not moving through life as fast as we want
- Making mistakes and being reminded about them.
- (add yours!)

None of these and the elements that are being used to project them on you have the power to keep you bound by shame.

Jesus has you covered. Today and always 💜

The world will push you to tough limits.

Try to get you to talk like them. Behave like them. Make decisions like them. Be liberal like them.

They will compel you to see the abnormal as normal, and aberrations as regularities.

Do not give in.

Do not let Goliath’s boast drive you to fear.or compromise.

Do not let Nebuchadnezzar’s buffet make you forget your regal heritage and origin.

Do not let his golden image make you appear more glorious than our God.

Do not let the prophets of baal have the last laugh (they never laughed anyway).

Lastly, do not let the word of God out of your grasp. Hide it in your heart. Let it’s power dwell richly in you.

Purpose in your heart to do this, to the glory of God alone.

Gosh, I cried this year.

Premium tears.

I felt pain and discouragement like I've never known.

Ran to everyone whom I thought could help, seasoned people with wisdom and experience, and while they gave momentary comfort, nothing lasted... until I ran to the arms of my Father.

I can tell you for free. Nothing is more beautiful than laying your heart bare before Him.

There's a deeply satisfying comfort He gives that no one else ever can or ever will.

What "they" did may still hurt!!! I know because I know hurt and pain, too. So crushing and heart-wrenching.

But no matter what, don't let it change the beautiful masterpiece that God created - you. Don't become their own creation by allowing the pain to make you someone you are not. Remain God's perfect creation.

God saw them. God will reward them. To touch you is to touch the apple of His eye. And for that, they crossed the line.

He will reward them but focus on healing, forgiving, and becoming everything God has ordained you to be.

Kingdom siblings, a question has been on my mind; please indulge me 😇

Are we kinder and more empathetic to unbelievers when we are drawing them to the kingdom through evangelism and soul-winning/soul-retention activities?

But with fellow believers, we are more judgmental because we expect that they “should know better” even though we know everyone is on a unique journey with God, and growth means something different to everyone?

Why?

PS: This is not an excuse for those who deliberately shame the kingdom.

This is a safe space, please. I’m also here to learn. Scriptural wisdom is also very welcome 🤗

Don't know who this post is for....

But you need to lean into the grace of God. Flesh and blood can not finish what God started with your life.

Human effort is futility if it isn't first soaked in the capacity of the Spirit.

Starting with God and then progressing on your own is unwise. God is Alpha and Omega. Don't embrace His Alpha and then think you can figure out the Omega on your own.

He desires to be your Help, your Rock, your Strength, your Shield and your Reward. Your understanding, when not aligned with His word, will fail you.

Let Him perfect what He started with your life.

Glory! Even I am blessed by this! 💜
