Celebrating St. Monica & St. Augustine

As we celebrate the feast days of St. Monica (August 27) and her son, St. Augustine (August 28), we are reminded of the beautiful power of persistent prayer, conversion and God’s grace.

St. Monica prayed faithfully for years for the conversion of her son. St. Augustine’s life became a testimony that no prayer offered in faith is ever wasted and no heart is beyond the transforming grace of God.

Today, may their lives encourage every parent praying for a child, everyone waiting on God, and everyone seeking a deeper relationship with Christ.

St. Monica, pray for us. 🙏
St. Augustine, pray for us. 🙏

May we never grow weary in prayer, and may our hearts always remain open to God’s transforming love.

✨ FEAST OF THE TRANSFIGURATION OF THE LORD ✨

Today, we celebrate the glorious moment when Jesus revealed His divine majesty to Peter, James and John on Mount Tabor.

As the face of Christ shone like the sun, the Father declared:

“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him.” — Matthew 17:5

The Transfiguration reminds us that beyond every trial, struggle and uncertainty, the glory of God is still at work. May we learn to listen more attentively to Christ, remain faithful in prayer and allow His light to transform our hearts and lives.

May the light of Christ shine through us, bringing hope, peace and love to our families, communities and the world.

Happy Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord!
