"6.Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7.But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. [10] For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. [11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. [12] Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: [13] And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: [14] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. [10] For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. [11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. [12] Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: [13] And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: [14] But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. [15] But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. [16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. [17] Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is , there is liberty. [18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. [15] But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. [16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. [17] Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is , there is liberty. [18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2Cor. 3: 6-18.

Bless be the Lord God who been so gracious to give something far glorious in our time.

Glory to God for His word That comes our way today.
We saw how Grace worked for obedient and humble children (Noah, David and Solomon) of God, how human protocols. procedure and or traditions was broken for these convenant children ( David and Solomon) because of God's Grace upon them.
Eli and King Saul fraustrated the grace of GOD upon them and lost out on the mercy of God.
Gen. 6:8,22 ; 7:5 ; 1Sam.16:1-13; 1Chr. 28:2-5; 1Sam.2:22-36; 15:10-35; Js.4:6,7; 2Cor.12:7-10

Prayer Points:
Praye to remain and not to walk out of the new convenant.
Praye to be humble and obedient to the will of GOD.
Praye not frustrate the Grace by being disobedient, permissive and proud.

[08:33, 5/21/2015] Yemi Adukanle: Prayer of Praise and Worship (part 2) - Study on PRAYER OF WORSHIP

PRAYER:
see Introduction on Prayer.

WORSHIP:

This is an inward acknowledgment of the supremacy of God as the King of kings and Lord of lords. It involves submission of the totality of our spirit, soul and body to Almighty God.

It has to do with bowing down, prostrating in humility to acknowledge God's supremacy, sovereignty and might. it also involves lifting up of hands to God in surrender to His Lordship and Rulership over our lives.(Ps.95:6; 141:2 )

It is a means of honouring GOD for who He is to us.

1. GOD is the Creator.
Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Isaiah 43:15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

No one is excusable for denying His Godship and Creatorship. (Ps.19:1; Rm.1:20; Heb.3:4)

2. God demand that we Worship Him alone.
Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bo***ge. 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
(see also Mat.22:37; John.4:24; Rev.4:11)

HOW SHOULD WE WORSHIP HIM.

Worshiping GOD involve our whole being and in the beauty of His holiness. This means that we come with a clean hand and pure heart and our soul should not be lifted into vanity.

Mat.22:37 with a true and sincere heart void deceit and hypocrisy.
Rom.12:1,2 must present our body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable
John.4:24 in truth and spirit.

It should be noted that our Worship of GOD which involve prayers, praises, singing of Psalms/hymns, reading of His word and every other activity should not be seen as a mere ritual but must come from our innermost being in total submission and humility before God. (Eph.6:6-8;Col.3:23-25)

Prayer of worship is one of many activities in our Worship and prayers to God. It is an access to the throne room of grace.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Hallowing God's is worshiping His names. We sanctify His name. Lift His names above all and thus Glorify Him.

At this moment we often lift our hands in total surrender to His Lordship, bow, kneel or prostrate before Him in acknowledgement of His sovereignty. (Ps.141:2; 95:6)

We call Him His names, we sing songs of Worship in adoration of Him. Often times we are lead in this by a Worship leader.

HOW JUSTIFICATION IS APPROPRIATED - Worthy of note is that one is not justified by being morally clean or mere observance of the law. consider these Scriptures:
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterward be revealed

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

These Scriptures show the purpose of law. The law and its punishment for breaking the law make man aware of sin by bringing it to light but cannot remove it. it clearly defines sin and shows the extent of It's power. Since no man is capable of perfect obedience continually to the law, Justification on It's basis is impossible. So Paul could rightly say in Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

1. Justification comes from GOD alone.
It is God's free grace.
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
It is grace because no one merited God's favor.
It is freely because we do nothing to justify ourselves than to receive it.

Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

2. The basis for Justification is Christ's righteousness and shed blood.
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;(see also Rm.5:9; 2Cor.5:21 ;Heb.9:22b; 10:10-14)

3. Made our own through Faith in Jesus.
Romans 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
,
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It should be noted that when a man's Faith is counted for righteousness, it means he has given up all trust in his own works and committing himself wholly to the mercy of GOD for Justification.

JUSTIFICATION (Part 2) -
This is in two phases.
1. The transfer of the sinner's sin to Jesus Christ, and his placement under device judgement on the cross. This allows for removal of guilt or sin and the fear of being punished for the offences committed. He is now seen as one who never sinned. Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man......... : 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

2. The imputation of Christ's righteousness to the sinner and his placement under God's favour. He is credited with the perfect righteousness of Christ and is thereby fully accepted as beloved by God. Paul declares in that Christ righteousness is ...........unto all and upon all them that believe (Rm.3:22). Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
