TITLE: THE LAW HAS LOST IT’S POWER OVER YOU

SCRIPTURE: Romans 6:14 (KJV). “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

NARRATION: Beloved, one truth you must know and settle in your heart as a child of God is that the moment you receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, the law automatically loses power over your life. Now you have a different Master. The duty of the law is to reveal your sins and shortcomings. The law is good and holy, but it cannot help you live for God. The commandment doesn’t make you holy. It shows you your weaknesses and how you can never make it. The book of Romans 7:7 says: “………I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.” (KJV).

But for the law, you wouldn’t have known sin. You would have just been living your life.
Now, because you could not keep the law, the law said you failed. So, the law, which was meant to bring life, brought spiritual death to you instead.

This happens so that you can reach the end of yourself and look for a Saviour. The law brings you to that point so that you can appreciate Jesus more.

God’s laws are righteous, but we know we can’t keep them. Now, that which is righteous and holy is killing people and condemning them to hell. So, how do we come out of it?
That was what Jesus did. He came and made us right with God, apart from the law. Romans 3:21-22 says “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested…. even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe….” (KJV)

Sin is so powerful that it penetrated the presence of God. It will take only God to deliver you from sin. Until you understand that, you will never be free from sin or walk in liberty. Thank God for Jesus! He has delivered us from the law so we can walk in liberty. Therefore, the law has no control over you because of what Jesus did. Haleluyah!

FURTHER READING:
Romans 7:1-25 NKJV. Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? [2] For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. [3] So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. [4] Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another-to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. [5] For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. [6] But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. [7] What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, "You shall not covet." [8] But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. [9] I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. [10] And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. [11] For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. [12] Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. [13] Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful. [14] For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. [15] For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. [16] If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. [17] But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. [18] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. [19] For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. [20] Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. [21] I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. [22] For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. [23] But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. [24] O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? [25] I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

MY CONFESSIONS:
It is a beautiful day for me. I have all Grace working for me. I have abundant Mercy speaking for me. In Jesus I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. And sin can no longer have dominion over me. For I am not under the law, but under grace. Thanks be to God who gives me the victory always. I know that no power of the enemy shall prevail over me. My life is hid in Christ. The name of the Lord is my Strong Tower. I am safely secured in that name. The blood of Jesus keeps me from every evil and disease. God is for me. He is fighting every battle that the enemy is throwing at me. I walk in dominion. I walk in boldness. I take all that grace has secured for me. Success is mine. Healing is mine. Deliverance is mine. Eternal life is mine. Abundant life is mine. Victorious life is mine. I shall not be denied of anything good. It is recovery and restoration time for me. It is my rejoicing and celebration season. My case is settled. There is nothing the enemy can do about it. I am taking delivery of my goodly heritage. This month is ending for me in greater glory. I am unstoppable. I am untouchable. Pleasant surprises await me today in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏🏾

TITLE: ACT ON WHAT YOU HEAR

SCRIPTURE: Mark 5:27 (KJV)
“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.”

NARRATION: Beloved, there are many voices speaking in our world today. They include voices of: fear, doubt, and confusion. But the secret of true success and victory lies in your ability to hear the voice of God, discern it amidst the noise, and act on what you hear.

The woman with the issue of blood didn’t just hear about Jesus; she acted on what she heard. She heard that Jesus heals the sick. That word stirred faith within her heart. When she saw the great crowd surrounding Him, she realized it would not be easy to get His attention. Yet she didn’t allow the obstacle to stop her. She found a way, she pressed through the crowd and touched the hem of His garment, saying within herself, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark 5:28).

Beloved, hearing God’s Word is not enough; you must act on what you hear. Faith without action is dead. (James 2:26). Every time God speaks, He gives direction for your advancement. Even when times are dark and uncertain, God is still speaking. Your focus should not be on what the devil is doing but on what God is saying.

Remember, the scriptures must be fulfilled. The world may get darker, but for the believer, light shines brighter. God desires to reveal things to you, to speak into your future and give you divine clues ahead of time.

So, you must believe God. He doesn’t give His Word as mere religious sayings. His Word is your anchor and your guide. It gives you something solid to hold on to when the world is shaking. Yes, things may be difficult around you, but they are all working together for His glory and for your good.

He has declared this year as your year of REST, but what are you doing with what you have heard? The woman heard and acted. What she heard gave her spiritual energy, and she arose in faith.

I challenge you today: Rise up in the power of the Word you have received. Act on it boldly. As you do, no power of darkness will be able to stop your miracle.

FURTHER READING:
(1) Mark 5:25-34 NKJV
Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, [26] and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. [27] When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. [28] For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." [29] Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. [30] And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My clothes?" [31] But His disciples said to Him, "You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, 'Who touched Me?'" [32] And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. [33] But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. [34] And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."

(2) Acts 2:37-41 NKJV. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" [38] Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. [39] For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." [40] And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." [41] Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

MY CONFESSIONS:
It is a beautiful day for me. Grace shall be multiplied unto me. Mercy shall not cease towards me. Abundance of God’s goodness is coming to me. For I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am accepted in the beloved. My ears are open to hear what God is saying now. The voice of a stranger I shall not hear. I dwell continually in the secret place of the Most High, I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. He is my God, in Him I put my trust. I am a believer and a doer of God’s word. There shall be a performance of every word of God that I am holding on to. The challenges of this time will not consume me. Every situation I am facing is a stepping stone to greater glory for me. God is comforting me and increasing me on every side. I have joy like a river. I refuse every form of fear, anxiety and worry. I am enjoying the Rest of God on every side. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord will be a shield to me and my entire household. Because I have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, my dwelling place, No evil shall befall me, Nor shall any plague come near my dwelling. The lines have fallen unto me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a goodly heritage. Life in abundance is mine. Divine health is mine. Victorious life is mine. When men are saying there is a casting down, I shall be saying there is a lifting for me. I am unstoppable. I am untouchable. Only good news shall come my way today in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏🏾

TITLE: PUT YOUR EARS DOWN

SCRIPTURE: Joshua 2:10 (KJV)
“For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.”

NARRATION: Beloved, in Joshua chapter 2, the Bible introduces us to Rahab, a woman known throughout Jericho as a professional pr******te. She wasn’t one to be associated with. Yet, this same Rahab became a vessel of faith and redemption.

Notice what she said to the spies: “I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.” (Joshua 2:9). She didn’t say, “I think”, she said, “I know.” Of all the people in Jericho, only Rahab knew and believed what God was doing. Why? Because her ears were on the ground. She was listening.

She continued, “For we have heard…”(Joshua 2:10). Rahab had heard of the mighty acts of God, how He dried up the Red Sea, how He defeated great kings for His people. That hearing produced faith in her heart. She believed in the God of Israel and aligned herself with His people.

Rahab didn’t just believe for herself; she believed big. She asked that not only she but her entire family, her father, mother, brothers, sisters, and all in her household be spared. And God honored her faith. They were all saved in a single day.

When you put your ears down to hear what God is saying, faith rises in your heart. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Jacob also heard and because he heard, he reconnected with his son Joseph, whom he had thought was dead. Through that divine reconnection, he not only saw his son again but also met his grandsons.

Beloved, never underestimate the power of hearing. Stay tuned to what God is saying. “Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates…” (Proverbs 8:34).

So today, put your ears down. Be attentive to God’s Word. What you hear determines what you believe and what you believe determines what you experience.

TITLE: YOUR REDEMPTION IS PRECIOUS

SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 1:18-19 (KJV). “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

NARRATION:
Beloved, the cost of your redemption was much more than money. Our redemption was purchased with something costly. It cost Jesus his blood. Therefore, it is a sin for you to disregard it or look down on it. Your redemption is precious. Sacred was the blood that was shed to pick you from the dungeon of sin and establish your feet on the rock. It is a sin to trample on it through unbelief. Don’t handle it casually because it cost Jesus Christ His life through the blood He shed.
When Christ appeared as the High Priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater gate and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands. That is to say, not of this world, or of things created in this world. And not through the blood of animals either, but through His own blood. He entered in once and for all, into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. The blood is so powerful that He only needed to apply it once. That is why the moment you invite Jesus into your heart, you are delivered instantly because no power of sin can stand against it. You have been eternally redeemed. In other words, you are not going to hell. There is a “paid for”, a special seal on your life.
The book of Hebrews 10:19 says the blood gives us boldness to enter the throne of God. You do not need any intermediary to go into the holy of holies. The blood ushers you in. The Word of God tells us to come boldly. It is time, therefore, to get rid of every form of fear. Jesus stands before the Father every time, with the blood saying, Father, I paid the price for them.
Child of God, even if you sin, do not allow the devil diminish the price that was paid. We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous.

FURTHER READING:
(1) Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. [15] For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

(2) 1 John 1:7-9 NKJV
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(3) 1 John 2:1-2 NKJV
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. [2] And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

MY CONFESSIONS:
It is a beautiful day for me. Grace is coming through for me. Mercy is speaking for me. I am the redeemed of the Lord. I have been redeemed from every curse of the law. I have been redeemed for good works. In Christ I have redemption through His blood even the forgiveness of my sins. My redemption is complete. My redemption is precious. My redemption is eternal. Christ in me is my hope of glory. The grace of God over me cannot be frustrated. The love of God for me can never cease. The mercy of God for me endures forever. I have a goodly heritage in Christ.
I am a firm believer in the finished work at Calvary. I have life and I have it in abundance. I am too holy to be a sinner. I am too blessed to be cursed. I am too healed to be sick. I am too successful to be a failure. I am too rich to be poor. I am too fruitful to be barren. I am too strong to be weak. I am above only and not beneath. I will live to fulfill my God’s ordained destiny. I am a world overcomer. I am enjoying the Rest of God on every side. I am untouchable. I am unstoppable. I am ending this month with a great testimony. Only good news shall come my way today in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏🏾

TITLE: CHRIST PAID WITH HIS BLOOD

SCRIPTURE: Colossians 1:14 (KJV). “In whom we have redemption through His blood even the forgiveness of sins:”

NARRATION: Beloved, the word redemption means “to buy out,” specifically the purchase of a slave with the intent to set him free. It also means “to release by paying a ransom.” This is exactly what Christ did for us. He redeemed us by His blood, purchasing our freedom once and for all. When Jesus gave His life, He declared, “It is finished.” That was the final seal that the full price had been paid.

This means the devil no longer has any legal right over your life. You belong to Christ. And when someone buys something for themselves, they protect it, defend it, and guard it jealously. As a child of God, you are that precious possession of Christ!

The blood of Jesus not only secured your release from sin but also from every curse, including the so-called generational curses. The Scripture makes it clear in Galatians 3:13-14 that “Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed it completely as He became a curse in our place… so that in Him all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon the gentiles.”

Beloved, your redemptive package is complete. Whatever bo***ge or captivity that once held you has been broken. The handcuffs have fallen off, the chains are destroyed, and the prison doors are open. You are free! Free from curses, free from fear, free from shame, free from every power of darkness.

That redemption also means you now have the authority to overcome anything that seeks to harm, afflict, or destroy you. By the blood of Jesus, you walk in victory, liberty, and blessing.

FURTHER READING:
(1) Ephesians 4:8 NKJV
Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."

(2) Colossians 2:13-15 NKJV. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, [14] having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. [15] Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

MY CONFESSIONS:
It is a beautiful day for me. Grace is working for me. Mercy is speaking for me. I am the beloved of God. I am saved. I am redeemed. In Chris I have redemption through His blood even the forgiveness of my sins. I have been redeemed from death and curses of the law. I am free from every accusation by the devil. I am redeemed for good works. Sin cannot have dominion over me. I am not under the law, but under grace. Christ in me is my hope of glory. God has given to me all things that pertain to life and godliness. Thanks be to God who gives me the victory always. I am marching on in my Christ given victory. There shall be a performance to that which I believed. My faith will not fail me. My hope will not be dashed. None of my expectations shall be cut short. I have been settled. I have been restored. I have been released. I have been elevated. I have been healed. I have been delivered. I am enjoying the Rest of God on all sides. Nothing missing and nothing broken concerning me. I am unstoppable. I am untouchable. It is well with me today and always in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏🏾

TITLE: IT WILL END IN PRAISE

SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicles 20:22 (KJV). “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”

NARRATION:
Beloved, we read in 2 Chronicles Chapter 20 about king Jehoshaphat who was confronted by what will probably be one of the greatest challenges of his reign. He was faced with a war and indeed like every one of us, he was afraid. He started off by calling for a fast and prayers, like we all will naturally do, until the word of God came to him. Take a moment and think! Which battle is confronting you today? What is that thing that makes you cry in the wee hours of the morning and you clean up your face and come out with a smile, yet in the deep recesses of your heart, you are in fear. What is it? Jehoshaphat faced the same thing to the point where he proclaimed a fast throughout the nation.
But in verse 14 of that scripture, the Word of the Lord came to him just as it has come to you that this year is your year of rest. God will settle you. And the solution for the battle is nothing else but praise. Can you imagine that? What put a whole nation in fear was going to end up with praise.
Did you take the Word of God declared to you at the beginning of this year with a pinch of salt or did you believe it whole heartedly? I challenge you to put on the garment of praise and take off the spirit of heaviness. Yes, that is what you need to do. Lift your voice to God. Praise Him for who He is. Praise Him for the things He has done. But much more praise Him for His promises, because His word cannot fail. Heaven and earth may pass away but not the Word of God.
Beloved, it is time to praise Him! Give Him undignified praise and watch Him move on your behalf. Don’t do it today and forget it, make praising God a lifestyle and you will be glad. So, I know that whatever challenge you are going through now, will surely end in praise.

FURTHER READING:
2 Chronicles 20:13-27 NKJV. Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD. [14] Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. [15] And he said, "Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: 'Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's. [16] Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. [17] You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you." [18] And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the LORD, worshiping the LORD. [19] Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with voices loud and high. [20] So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper." [21] And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: "Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever." [22] Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. [23] For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. [24] So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped. [25] When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among them an abundance of valuables on the dead bodies, and precious jewelry, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away; and they were three days gathering the spoil because there was so much. [26] And on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, for there they blessed the LORD; therefore the name of that place was called The Valley of Berachah until this day. [27] Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Jerusalem with joy, for the LORD had made them rejoice over their enemies.

MY CONFESSIONS:
It is a beautiful day for me. All grace is working for me. Mercy is speaking for me. I am the beloved of God. My life is that of praises to the Almighty God. I will sing a new song to the Lord for He is good. My pains and frustrations are over. My delay has come to an end. It is restoration and recovery season for me. I am set for great exploits. New doors are opening for me. I am a living testimony of God’s faithfulness. I will praise the Lord at all times. His praises shall continually be in my mouth. I will sing of the mercy of the Lord forever. With my mouth I will make known of His faithfulness to everyone. My present challenges shall surely end in praise. Thanks be unto God, who causes me to triumph always in Christ. I am resting in the victory that Christ has secured for me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Life in abundance is mine. I shall be all that God has ordained for me to be. I am taking delivery all that grace has secured for me. I shall not be denied of anything good. Nothing that Satan brings against me shall defeat me. I am unstoppable. I am untouchable. I am unmovable. I am singing a new song of victory today in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏🏾
