UPDATE: MR ANTHONY OBI FINALLY RELEASED

It's good to be good. The police in AIG Zone 16 insisted that the person to release him must be resident in Yenagoa which was very difficult for us. Yesterday morning, a man that I'm helping on a very tough case, called me bcos they really needed me in Anambra state, I told him the challenges and he quickly called the SSA TO THE GOVERNOR who came immediately to meet me there and helped get him released within hours. The IPO wanted to start another war with me by saying I'm going to sign that I know the suspect and the surety, I told him I can never bcos I know he is just demanding too much to keep holding the man. Recall that the man inlaw came and he rejected him as surety. One other man came, and he rejected him as well. So I was so angry, we went to meet the DC ZCID who is also a lawyer and he said that is not a problem hence they verify the resident of the surety. He finally regained freedom.

Thanks to all that supported financially, morally and through calls and contacts. Justice in Nigeria is always slow, expensive and that's why JUSTICE FOR THE OPPRESSED HUMAN RIGHT FOUNDATION was founded to help

I specially appreciate Hon. Obinn and Hon. Buloebi. We also appreciate ACP BUBA. The provost there and so many senior officers who were all helping to resolve the matter.
