Good afternoon your excellencies.
We all come into seasons and phases of life where we are either hard-pressed for time or overworked over legitimate and necessary pursuits. It is crucial to discern that praying is the first to take a hit, followed by fellowship attendance.
When you become too choked to have time to pray and find attending church meetings very stressful, here is what to do.
1. Put prayer first. Make praying your first and last activity every day. Don't yield to the excuse of no time or being too tired to pray. Praying isn't for idle people!
2. Don't blame your inability to pray on anything or anyone. It isn't the job, the marriage or the kids that are responsible for your prayerlessness. You have failed to make simple necessary adjustments. I have adjusted my praying to be practical to every season and phase of my life.
My praying has moved around different time cycles, but I have always prayed without ceasing. I had always maintained my spiritual edge, despite my busyness. I have never sought a reason why I cannot pray, it matters nothing how busy, and demanding work has been, I have always created and made time for prayers, always.
Spiritual commitments and disciplines aren't for idle or lazy people. You can maintain a fervent consistent prayer life amid your busy work schedule.
If you haven't prayed today. Find a time to shut everything down and pray .
