Theme: FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
Today’s Focus: Abiding, Not Striving

John 15:4–5
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Abiding in Christ can be challenging in daily life. Whether dealing with pressure at work, family responsibilities, or difficult people, many believers struggle to remain connected to Him.

Jesus compared our relationship with Him to a branch connected to a vine. A branch disconnected from the tree cannot survive because it has no life source of its own. In the same way, believers must remain connected to Christ through prayer, Bible study, and obedience to His Word.

The fruit of the Spirit cannot be produced by human effort or sheer will-power alone. It is the natural result of abiding in Christ and yielding to the Holy Spirit. The secret is not struggling, but staying connected.

Paul explained this in Galatians 2:20 when he declared that the life he lived was by faith in the Son of God. To abide in Christ is to surrender completely to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. This is the secret of a fruitful Christian life.

KEY ACTION
Stop living independently of God. Begin everything with prayer and depend on Him daily.

WORD FOR TODAY
As you depend on Christ, your life shall continually flourish and bear lasting fruit.

PRAYER
Father, make my life fruitful and help me remain connected to You always.

Theme: FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
Today’s focus: WHY IT MATTERS

Matt. 7:15-16
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Fruit of the Spirit are God honouring attributes that the Holy Spirit produces in the lives of believers. They are called “fruit” because they are visible proofs of God’s work within us.

It is easy to fake power but you cannot fake fruit of the Spirit. By their fruit you will recognise them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? The answer is simple: no.

The fruits of the righteous is a tree of life: A person who lives righteously and bears good fruit (like love, kindness, and wisdom) nourishes and refreshes the people around them, serving as a "tree of life" (Prov. 11: 30).

Jesus also warn (Matt. 7:19) that every tree that fail to bear good fruit will be cut-down. Some who profess Him as Lord, who even did mighty miracles may not make the kingdom. He wasn't even speaking of false prophets. These are people who cast demons in His name but fail to bear fruit of the Spirit.

Are you bearing fruit of the Spirit? Is your life drawing people to God or pushing them away?

KEY ACTION
Yield completely to the Holy Spirit so your life will continually bear good fruit.

WORD FOR THE DAY
May God nourish you with the water of life for fruitful Christian living.

PRAYER
Father, destroy every thistle in my life that hurts others. Help me live a God-honouring life

WISDOM EVERYDAY
SAT., MAY 23, 2026

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
Today’s focus: YOU'RE EXPECTED TO DISCIPLE OTHERS

Matt. 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

The primary responsibility of every disciple is to bring other people into a loving relationship with the Lord by teaching and nurturing them in the faith.

Discipleship is generational. Paul in 2 Tim 2:2 tells Timothy to invest in faithful people who can, in turn, teach others, creating a continuous chain of spiritual growth. You're a failure if you fail to raise others.

True discipleship goes beyond just teaching; it involves sharing your life, building deep relationships, and modeling faith practically (1 Thess. 2:8). We are called to live our lives in such a way that others can be inspired to follow Christ (1 Cor. 11:1).

So, getting involve in discipling others is a huge sacrifice. It involves carrying your cross daily and to follow Christ in genuine self denial.

This will guarantee divine presence, resulting in the approval of your service with signs, provided personal discipline (prayer, holiness, purity of thought and lips etc) is in place.

KEY ACTION
Invest your time in lifting others, emotionally and spiritually.

WORD FOR TODAY
God will sustain your life with His presence throughout this day and beyond.

PRAYER
In Jesus name, I receive grace and wisdom to disciple others. Father, deepen my heart to love and to inspire others positively.

WISDOM EVERYDAY
FRI., MAY 22, 2026

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
TODAY’S FOCUS: Fellowship with Other Believers

Acts 2:42
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

One of the hallmarks of a genuine disciple is the need for healthy relationships. Fellowship with other believers strengthens our Christian walk and also helps those we disciple to grow in their faith.

In the early Church, there was a strong emphasis on fellowship. The believers regularly met together to break bread, preach, pray, and fellowship. We still practice the same today through church services and smaller gatherings such as midweek Bible studies, home fellowships, men’s, women’s, youth, and teens’ fellowships.

The relationships we build in these smaller groups help us grow spiritually, and we gain wisdom and encouragement from one another.

The regular breaking of bread (ours may be weekly) among the brethren is also a source of strength and healing.

You must not forget that one of the enemy’s oldest and most potent tactics is isolation. By pulling a believer away from the support of Godly community and faith, he makes them vulnerable to deception, fear, and discouragement. It should therefore be concerning when a brother or sister suddenly begins to withdraw from fellowship, even if they come to church on Sundays.

The truth is that fellowship is very important to the success of our faith walk, even beyond attending Sunday worship services alone (Heb. 10:25).

KEY ACTION
Make it a habit to fellowship regularly with other believers.

WORD FOR TODAY
The eyes of the Lord shall be opened toward you, and the Lord will fulfil the desires of your heart in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER
Father, give me the discipline to connect and maximize every opportunity for fellowship with the brethren regularly.

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
TODAY’S FOCUS: THE TEST OF FAITH

James 1:2-3 (NKJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Every student must face examinations. In the same way, every true disciple of Jesus Christ will encounter seasons of testing. Trials are not strange to the life of faith; they are part of spiritual growth.

The phrase “various trials” reveals that challenges may come in different forms and at different stages of life. Some tests may be physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual. Yet, God remains faithful through them all.

God is not the author of evil, but He can permit trials to strengthen and mature His children.

Some reasons trials are allowed include:

* Spiritual refinement — just as gold is purified in fire, faith is strengthened through pressure.

* Character formation — trials produce patience, endurance, humility, and complete surrender to God.

* Promotion — every successful test leads to growth and higher responsibility in God’s kingdom.

1 Peter 1:6-7 reminds us that the trial of our faith is more precious than gold.

In every storm, let God remain your hiding place and safe anchor. Complaining may prolong the process, but gratitude helps us learn the lesson Heaven intends.

KEY ACTION
Make God your hiding place.

WORD FOR TODAY
May the grace of God be multiplied upon you

PRAYER
Father, uphold and guide me through the darkest moments of my life.

WISDOM EVERYDAY
WED., MAY 20, 2026

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
TODAY’S FOCUS: STEP-BY-STEP FOLLOWERSHIP

Matt. 8:23 (KJV)
And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

The disciples followed Jesus without hesitation. They entered the ship with Him even though they had no guarantee of a smooth journey. Soon, a storm arose, proving that the presence of Jesus does not exempt believers from life’s challenges. However, His presence guarantees victory in the midst of them.

Every true disciple is a committed follower of Jesus Christ. According to 1 Peter 2:21, we are called to follow in His steps. Following Christ means surrendering our will to Him, embracing His teachings, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our decisions, character, and daily lifestyle.

Following Christ also demands self-denial. Jesus said in Matthew 16:24, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” This means overcoming fleshly desires, resisting sinful tendencies, and bringing our lives into submission to God’s Word.

A genuine follower does not move independently of the Master. True disciples seek God’s direction before making decisions and remain obedient even when the path is uncomfortable. Step-by-step followership requires trust, humility, obedience, and complete dependence on God.

KEY ACTION
Walk in obedience with absolute submission to the will of God.

WORD FOR TODAY
The peace of God that surpasses all understanding is yours in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER
Father, guide me by the help of Your Holy Spirit and do not allow me to fall into temptation.

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
TODAY’S FOCUS: COMMITMENT TO GROWTH

2 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

Growth is the inward transformation that comes from being adapted to the image of Christ rather than following worldly patterns. It involves increasing daily in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Grace is the supply of power to do what we cannot accomplish by human strength alone. The truth is that no one has the capacity to live righteously or fulfill the will of God without His grace.

However, grace is more than a gift; it is Christ Himself working within us. He creates in us the desire to please God and gives us the strength to obey Him (Phil. 2:13). He supplies strength in weakness, purity in temptation, and endurance in difficult seasons.

Therefore, to grow in grace, we must intentionally seek deeper knowledge of Christ and learn to depend on Him rather than on the flesh (Phil. 3:3). The more we look unto Jesus, the more His grace is dispensed into us.

A true disciple must continually grow by fixing his eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

KEY ACTION
Consistent spiritual growth is the evidence of genuine discipleship.

WORD FOR TODAY
I pray that the Lord will strengthen your faith and deepen your knowledge of Christ.

PRAYER
Father, grant me the strength and grace to live for You every day of my life.

WISDOM EVERYDAY
MON., MAY 18, 2026

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
TODAY’S FOCUS: A DISCIPLE IS NOT ABOVE THE MASTER

Luke 6:40 (NKJV)
A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.

A group of Bible students once visited a goldsmith to understand the refining process of gold. They asked him, “How do you know when the gold is ready?” The goldsmith replied, “When I can clearly see my image in it.”

This is the goal of discipleship. God desires that every believer grow into the image and likeness of Christ. The process of pruning, correction, and spiritual training continues until Christ is fully revealed in us (Eph. 4:13; 1 Cor. 15:49). A true disciple does not merely admire the Master; he gradually becomes like Him in character, conduct, love, and obedience.

Discipleship is also a call to humility. No servant should expect an easier path than the Master. Jesus was rejected, persecuted, and misunderstood; therefore, His followers must also endure trials for His sake. Yet, through every season, God is shaping us into living reflections of Christ.

The true proof of discipleship is becoming like Christ.

KEY ACTION
Commit yourself to continual spiritual growth. Pursue Christ daily until His nature is evident in you.

WORD FOR TODAY
I pray that the image of Christ will shine through your life and that His nature will become evident in all you do, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER
Father, thank You for this new day. Grant me the grace to grow in the knowledge of Christ and to become more like You daily.

WISDOM EVERYDAY
SUN., MAY 17, 2026

Theme: BEING A DISCIPLE
TODAY’S FOCUS: SITTING AT JESUS’ FEET

Luke 10:39 (NKJV)
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.

One major hallmark of a true disciple is the discipline to sit at the Master’s feet. Sitting at Jesus’ feet speaks of humility, submission, patience, and a willingness to learn. Many believers desire to serve, lead, or preach, yet they have not first submitted themselves to consistent learning and spiritual grooming.

In God’s kingdom, sitting comes before sending. Before Jesus sent the disciples out to preach, He first called them to be with Him (Mark 3:14). A disciple must first stay with the Master before becoming effective in ministry. Unfortunately, many believers jump into service unprepared, moving from place to place without depth, stability, or proper formation.

The purpose of sitting at His feet is to hear His Word, cultivate His values, and become transformed by His presence. We can only reproduce what we have personally received and internalized. Power, wisdom, and spiritual authority are products of continual fellowship with Jesus.

The decision to stay with God must be deliberate, not circumstantial. Those who remain at His feet will never lack direction, strength, or growth.

KEY ACTION
Stay consistently at the Master’s feet through prayer, study, and fellowship.

WORD FOR TODAY
Receive grace to remain with Jesus and grow in wisdom, depth, and spiritual maturity in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER
Dear Father, give me the wisdom, discipline, and grace to remain at your feet daily and to grow in Your Word continually. Amen.

Theme: MIND TRANSFORMATION
TODAY’S FOCUS: REMOVING THE VEIL

2 Cor. 3:15–16 (NKJV)
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Moses returned from the mountain after an encounter with God carrying so much glory that the people could not look upon his face. He radiated divine light, and he had to cover his face with a veil whenever he spoke with the people. Yet beyond the physical veil was a deeper spiritual condition — their hearts were still clouded with unbelief and spiritual blindness.

A veil is a metaphor for anything that prevents a person from perceiving spiritual truth. It may be ignorance, unbelief, sin, or a hardened heart. Until the veil is removed, transformation remains limited.

The veil on the mind is removed when a person turns genuinely to the Lord in repentance. Through Christ, the veil of sin separating man from God has been taken away, giving us access to personal fellowship with Him. As the eyes of our understanding are enlightened, we begin to behold His glory and are transformed daily.

But God desires that our transformation moves from glory to glory. This demands we do away with pride, sin and anything that hinders us from seeing more of God. Unfortunately, many believers settle for a comfortable Christianity without true spiritual growth.

KEY ACTION
Go to God in humility and submit anything that may hinder further growth and transformation to Him.

WORD FOR TODAY
Every form of spiritual veil hindering your transformation shall be subdued by the blood of Jesus.

PRAYER
Father, open the eyes of my understanding to grow deeper in the knowledge of God and in the pursuit of Your kingdom.

WISDOM EVERYDAY
THURSDAY, MAY 14, 2026

Theme: MIND TRANSFORMATION
TODAY’S FOCUS: REPENTANCE

Acts 17:30 (KJV)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.

Repentance is derived from the Greek word metanoia, meaning “to change one’s mind.” It involves a sincere turning away from sin and a turning toward God.

It is more than regret or emotional sorrow; it is a fundamental shift in how a person thinks about God and sin. Repentance is not merely feeling guilty, but experiencing a genuine change in perspective.

It is questionable when a person claims to have repented, yet their perspective about sin and the world remains unchanged. Stating the case for mind renewal in Romans 12:2, Paul insisted that we cannot be transformed if we remain conformed to this world.

Genuine repentance produces fruit, and this is revealed through changed behavior and actions.

The ongoing renewal of the mind through the Word of God brings progressive transformation.

KEY ACTION
Repentance is the root of mind transformation. What we need is a complete turning toward God, not partial repentance.

WORD FOR TODAY
As you turn toward God, I see heaven turning toward you in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER
Father, let Your mercy speak for me. Help me to stand for the truth always.
