Not every disappointment is a dead end.

Through today’s message, “From Disappointment to Divine Appointment,” Elder Obayomi reminded us that when God doesn’t fulfil our expectations the way we imagined, it doesn’t mean He has failed. Sometimes, disappointment is where God begins to reveal something deeper.

The story of the Great Disappointment of 1844 reminds us that even when we don’t understand what God is doing, we can still trust that He is working according to His purpose.

May we continue to trust Him, even when His plans look different from ours. 🙏🏽

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! 🇳🇬

Today, we thank God for our nation, our people and the journey so far.

As we celebrate 66 years, may our prayers go beyond the festivities. May God heal our land, grant wisdom to our leaders, strengthen our families and unite us as one people.

May peace prevail, may hope rise again, and may Nigeria become stronger and better for generations to come.

From all of us at Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ilupeju, Happy Independence Day. 💚🤍💚

Let’s pray for a stronger and better Nigeria. 🙏

What an extraordinary celebration today!

Our Pathfinders stepped up in a BIG way from preaching the Word to leading every part of service with unmatched energy!

We were deeply blessed by our preacher of the day, Com. Wuraola Obayomi, who delivered a powerful message on our theme: “SPEAK, LORD.”

4 postures of faith that stuck with us:
CALEB: Stay focused and unwavering in God’s promises, no matter the obstacles.

SAMUEL: Sit still, quiet the noise, and truly listen when God speaks.

MARY: Trust completely, even when His plans surpass our understanding.

JOSHUA: Obey immediately and courageously when God directs.

Which lesson resonates most with your walk this week? Drop some love for our Pathfinders and our inspiring speaker! 👇❤️

This year’s theme is so powerful. Speak, Lord, Your Servants Are Listening” - 1 Samuel 3:9.
