A beautiful Sabbath as the women led today’s worship, with Sister Viano sharing an inspiring sermon titled “It Is the Lord.”
She reminded us to always thirst for the Lord and desire a deeper relationship with Him. Not to be like Martha, who was physically in Jesus’ presence but too distracted to truly be with Him, or Eli, who failed to act despite God’s warning.
But also to be like Moses, who pleaded for the Israelites when God’s judgment was upon them, and Hezekiah, who cried out to God even after the sentence of death had been pronounced.
May we always seek God, listen to Him, and never be afraid to cry out to Him.
