"Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, HE WAS HUNGRY." - Matthew 21:18 NIV

"...Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had been expelled; And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's household manager; and Susanna; and many others, WHO MINISTERED TO AND PROVIDED FOR HIM AND THEM OUT OF THEIR PROPERTY AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS." - Luke 8:1-3 AMP

These ones mentioned and others that were not were providing for Jesus' needs - "...OUT OF THEIR PROPERTY AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS." - Luke 8:1-3 AMP

The Bible affirmed that they were giving to Jesus out of their personal properties and belongings. How easy is it for you to release your personal belongings and properties for the kingdom expansion?

Actually, Jesus does not concern Himself with or recognize what a sinful man puts into His work. This is because God's principle is "life first" and after the goods. What we are trying to say here is that Jesus did not just want any input in His service that does not come from the correct vessels.

Therefore, the first personal belongings and properties that concern God are your own life. Why is this crucial? Some people are very good at giving; unfortunately, their lifestyle is not in correspondence with the life expected of them by the Lord Jesus. Judas Iscariot gave all his time to Christ, but not his heart.

Balance your life with your giving.

"Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, HE WAS HUNGRY." - Matthew 21:18 NIV

We have been dealing with the hunger of the Lord Jesus for some time now. And presently we are studying together on BROKEN KINGDOM FINANCIERS.

"Soon afterward, [Jesus] went on through towns and villages, preaching and bringing the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve [apostles] were with Him, And also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had been expelled; And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's household manager; and Susanna; and many others, who ministered to and provided for Him and them out of their property and personal belongings." - Luke 8:1-3 AMP

A record shows how some individuals donated themselves for the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ while on earth. Some were mentioned who were not only released themselves, but also released their resources to meet the physical needs of Jesus Christ.

The heavens have their records written with gold and we are still reading it till today. What are we doing with our resources nowadays? Mary Magdalene, Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's household manager; and Susanna; and many others were among the few that were mentioned.

These individuals were able to release their purses because their hearts had been affected. One truth remains: the level at which a man's heart is affected would determine how easily his purse will be accessed. How accessible is your heart, let alone your purse?

"Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, HE WAS HUNGRY." - Matthew 21:18 NIV

We cited a Bible passage yesterday from the book of Proverbs. It says:
"There are those who [generously] scatter abroad, and yet increase more; there are those who withhold more than is fitting or what is justly due, but it results only in want. The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered." - Proverbs 11:24-25 AMP

The law or principle of sowing is reaping. The Bible says, "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." - Galatians 6:7 NIV. Whatever you sow in any respect, you shall surely reap.

By principle, when you sow a grain of corn, you will definitely reap far beyond a grain of what you sowed. Your sowing into kingdom expansion is indirectly expecting returns a thousandfold.

The Bible encourages us as BROKEN KINGDOM FINANCIERS not to be discouraged in releasing our God-given resources to His work. Here is what the Bible says — "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." - Galatians 6:9 ESV

Keep scattering the grain, and in due season you are not only going to be rewarded here on earth but also in heaven.

Main Text:
"Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, HE WAS HUNGRY." - Matthew 21:18 NIV

The Bible verse we quoted yesterday says:
"Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days." - Ecclesiastes 11:1 ESV
"Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return." - Ecclesiastes 11:1 NIV

It simply means that when we are liberal with the Lord's resources in our custody, the blessings attached to them are enormous. Our bread (money) sown into the work of God will soon be rewarded by the Owner of the soil.

The word of God says - "Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them? For FROM HIM and THROUGH HIM and FOR HIM are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen." - Romans 11:35-36 NIV. Being wise and prudent enough in taking out what God has blessed us with to advance God's kingdom here on earth is a means of receiving blessings in disguise.

No man has ever given to God and remained the same. God, Who owns all, will in turn pay back a millionfold. Why? For FROM HIM and THROUGH HIM and FOR HIM are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. - Romans 11:36

Giving generously to advance the kingdom of God is just a test of your stewardship - only to test your heart of gratitude to your Maker and to prove your faithfulness in what He has done for you.

Main Text:
"Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, HE WAS HUNGRY." - Matthew 21:18 NIV

In pursuing BROKEN KINGDOM FINANCIERS, which is one of Jesus' hungers.

The Bible says:
"Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days." - Ecclesiastes 11:1 ESV
"Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return." - NIV

This is one of the scriptures that establishes the returns or rewards for those who cooperate with the Lord in using their resources to expand God's kingdom here on earth.

The Bible, from the New International Version, says that if we ship or cast, according to the English Standard Version, our bread upon the water, after many days it will yield returns.

Partnering with God through the resources God has blessed us with is a way of being grateful to God, Who is the Giver. The Lord said - "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." - Psalms 24:1 NIV. This includes even 'you' who own those things in your care.

Unfortunately, man may be proving of having this, having that, but the soul of a man himself is in the hand of God. That is why we must be wise in channelling our God-given resources according to God's will. Our material blessings, including ourselves, must be a blessing to the kingdom assignment. How are you utilizing God resources in your care?

We started three days ago by saying that Jesus is hungry for “BROKEN KINGDOM FINANCIERS.” We need men and women who would become kingdom financiers.

By the word BROKEN, we mean Christians whose lives have experienced the Cross. Men and women who have grown beyond seeing money as the ultimate goal. They are people who are no longer controlled by money. These are the people who would give their resources without strings attached.

They are men and women who would not make demands as if they were God themselves, having understood that they are only privileged when God chooses to enlist them in His Kingdom business. If God chooses you to partner with Him through your resources in His Kingdom assignment, you are one of the most blessed people.

We have several people who are thirsty for the Gospel, and there are people who are ready to go and reach out to them. However, they will need something to fall back on for their livelihood. You can join the few individuals who are already supporting missions. Start from your church, and it can grow globally.

You don't need to have plenty of money before you become a KINGDOM FINANCIER. You can start from somewhere and see how God will bring an increase to you. Your resources are meant to advance the Kingdom of God here on earth. So, embrace the Kingdom assignment by giving towards God's work.

✓ May the Lord Almighty increase your godly sources of income, in Jesus' mighty name. - Proverbs 8:21
✓ May the Lord honor you with His blessings, in Jesus' mighty name. - Proverbs 8:18

"Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, HE WAS HUNGRY." - Matthew 21:18 NIV

You are highly welcome to the month of "independence." October 1st is a historic day in the Nigerian calendar. We are very optimistic that our tomorrow shall be alright in this nation. Although, "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." - Psalm 30:5

We are hopeful in Christ Jesus, because He has the "Balm of Gilead," that one day our story shall turn around for good.

Jesus said - "So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free." - John 8:36 AMP. What we are saying is, you, as a Nigerian. If others decide not to be free, you can be free yourself.

You can gain your independence by surrendering your life to Jesus. You can invite Jesus to come and take His place in your heart. Yes, you can be free from:
· Sin
· Oppression
· Witches and witchcraft
· Joblessness
· Enslavement
· Curses and bad covenants
· Nightmares or bad dreams
· Poverty and debt
· Satan and his cohorts
· Failure
· Barrenness
· Fear of death
· Ridicule
· Hardship
· Shame, etc.

Everything is wrapped up in Christ Jesus. All fullness dwells in Christ Jesus. If only you can come and surrender your life to Jesus. The Bible says - "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe." - Proverbs 18:10 NIV

Declarations:
✓ May we experience genuine freedom in Jesus' mighty name - John 8:36
✓ May the Lord lift every embargo from your portion and grant your heart's desires this new month in Jesus' mighty name - Isaiah 43:19
