PARISH ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS WEEK.

12TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR A.
25TH JUNE 2023.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT.

1. The Parish Faith Series will not hold on Sunday 25th June, 2023 and next Sunday 2nd July 2023. It will resume on Sunday 9th July 2023.

2. Next Sunday will be our tithe Sunday. Please pick up the tithe Sunday envelop and be generous in your contributions.

3. The Archangels Hospital has commenced immunization for children of ages 0-5years. It holds at 8:30am every Wednesday. Venue: Hospital Complex.

4. The Annual Redemptorist Fund Raise will be coming up on Sunday 16th July 2023. Let us as usual be generous to the Redemptorist family, as we continue to serve you.

5. Novena for pregnant women and those praying for fruitfulness is still ongoing and will end on Tuesday 27th June 2023. It begins with the mid-day Mass daily. Come and be blessed.

6. Archangels' Board of Church Warden is currently admitting new members. Membership is open to those between 13 & 17 Years for the Youth wing and 18 years and above for the adult wing. Interested persons can meet them at the main entrance of the Church after this Mass to pick up the form. Deadline for the collection and submission of forms is July 19, 2023.

7. From the month of July, we will begin to Live Stream our Sunday 8am Mass on Youtube and Facebook on every 2nd Sunday of the month. To connect, Parishioners are strongly encouraged to follow our parish media channels on Youtube @ stownarchangelstv and on Facebook @ archangelsparishsat1. 8. We regret to announce the death of our brother Mr. Valentine Oluchukwu Chukwueto. He was an active Legionary and Catechist. The Requiem Mass for the repose of his soul will be held here in the Parish this Tuesday, 27th June by 10am. We are all encouraged to be there to bid him farewell.
Also, the Christian Wake Keep for Late Mr. Patrick Azuka Elumeze holds this Tuesday, 27th June at his residence, Close 21 House 14 Satellite Town. May their souls and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

9. Harvest remission has started, therefore, visit the harvest stands, collect your cards, make your pledges and remit them. Also, book for your family thanksgivings because we have reasons to thank God this year. God will surely provide for us.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS WEEK

SOLEMNITY: THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST (CORPUS CHRISTI) YEAR A
11TH JUNE 2023, GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

1. The Mother of Perpetual Help Devotion continues every Wednesday in the Archangels’ Church and in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Liverpool Estate.

2. Friday 16th is a Day with St. Gererd Majella. Let us come and pray for our various intentions especially for the fruit of the womb and expectant mothers.

3. Novena for pregnant women and those praying for fruitfulness is on and will run till 27th June 2023. It begins with the mid-day Mass daily. Come and be blessed.

4. Pauline publishers will be in our Parish on Sunday 18th of June for the sale of the book, GOD’S WORD 2023. We are encouraged to patronize them.

5. The Archangels Hospital has commenced immunization for children of ages 0-5years. It holds at 8:30am every Wednesday. Venue: Hospital Complex.

6. Due to the public holiday on Monday, 12th June, the Parish Office will be closed to reopen on Tuesday, 13th June.

7. The Parish Priest will be on holiday for 2 weeks from Sunday,11th - Sunday, 25th June. In his absence, Rev. Frs. Vincent Okoh, C.Ss.R and Hyacinth Agomuoh, C.Ss.R will be in charge of the Parish.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS WEEK

THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER YEAR A
23RD APRIL 2023, GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
1. The Mother of Perpetual Help Devotion continues every Wednesday in the Archangels' Church and in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Liverpool Estate.
2. May Devotion begins on Monday 1st of May. Time: 5:45pm daily. We are all encouraged to participate actively. May Mary our Mother of Perpetual Help continue to intercede for us.
3. We strongly encourage Parishioners who attend Mass to always make effort to enter inside the church to participate actively in the celebration rather than sitting just anywhere in the Church compound.
4. Please do not charge your phones using any socket inside the Church. This affects our electrical appliances in the Church.
5. The Parish office will be closed on Monday 24th April for the public holiday to reopen on Tuesday 25th April.
6. The Parish Priest will be holding a compulsory meeting with parents/guardians of the catechism children and their catechists on Saturday, 29th April 2023. Time: 3pm prompt. Venue: Archangels school premises. For this reason, Catechism classes will not hold on that day.
7. A reputable school in Satellite Town is in need of a Geography teacher. Applicants must have a certificate in education. Interested persons should submit their CV and letter of application at the Parish Office.
8. Come May 27, 2023, the parish will be celebrating the Children's Day to be anchored by CYON. Therefore, to make this day a success for our children, the planning committee is appealing to all parishioners to support this event.
9. The parish faith series will resume this Sunday 23rd April 2023 by 4.30pm. we are encouraged to attend and learn more about our faith.
10. The Annual Archbishop Adewale Martins Catholic Faith Family Quiz 2023 edition has officially commenced. Our Parish competition will hold on April 30, 2023. For more information, please see the notice board.
11. We have observed the reduction of plastic chairs in the church gallery and as a result some parishioners stand during Sunday Masses. Therefore, we appeal to parishioners to stop carrying chairs out of the church gallery. Thank you.

3. The parish faith series will resumes next week Sunday 23rd April 2023 by 4.30pm.

4. The Annual Archbishop Adewale Martins Catholic Faith Family Quiz 2023 edition has officially commenced. Our Parish competition will hold on April 30, 2023. Interested families should submit their details at the Parish Office latest by Wednesday 5th April, 2023 and as well receive study guidelines. For more information, please see the notice board.

5. The Parish Office reopens on Monday, 17th April, 2023.
