At the Concert, one of the featured works was Peter Graham’s suite “Las Lluvias Grandes.”

As earlier shared, the suite consists of three movements. We now present Movement III – “Showers of Blessing.”
This movement offers a tricky but fun setting of “Showers of Blessing.” It quickly became a band favorite, and we truly enjoyed rehearsing it under the direction of Jonathan Mead, our International Guest Facilitator.

We hope you enjoy this final movement as much as we loved performing it!

At the welcome reception, the Abuja Central Corps Band rendered the Festival March “Fight Through” — the first published brass work of Bandmaster Michael Cooper (Brisbane City Temple Corps).

Conducted by Bandmaster Ugo Monanu (Assistant Camp Principal and Divisional Bandmaster for the Northern Division), the piece features the tunes I Want to Be a Soldier, Lift Up the Banner, and My Jesus, I Love Thee — a stirring reminder that spiritual warfare is part of our faith, and victory is found in Christ.

At the Concert, one of the featured pieces was Peter Graham’s suite “Las Lluvias Grandes.”

As previously mentioned, the suite comprises three movements. Here is Movement II – “Make Me a Blessing.”
This movement presents a simple, heartfelt setting of the verse of “Make Me a Blessing,” contrasted with a lively, rhythmic interpretation of the chorus.

The performance was conducted by Jonathan Mead, our International Guest Facilitator.
