STANDARD OF FAITH
* We believe that the Holy Bible is the word of the living God; true, steadfast & authoritative rule of faith and practice (2 Tim 3:16-17; Pet 1:21-33).
* We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19-20).
* We believe in Holiness, that those who are saved must live in (Heb 23:14; 1 Pet 1:6; Rom 12:1-2).
* We believe that there is one true and living God eternally existing in three (Heb 9:14; 1 John 5:17; Deut 6:4; John 17:32; Cor 3:14).
* We believe that all men have sinned and come short of the Glory of God; and salvation or the new birth comes through repentance & faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 5:12; 3:23; Eph 2:8-9; Act 20:20-21; John 3:3-8; Cor 5:17).
* We believe in the Lord’s Supper which is the regular partaking of bread, the blood of Jesus Christ (1 Cor 11:23).
* We believe that divine healing is provided for in the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal the sick in the answer
to simple prayer of faith in His name only (Matt 8:16-17; James 5:14).
* We believe in Christ’s coming again to catch away His Church, and also in His millennial reign (1 Thess 4:16-17; Rev 20:1-3).
* We believe that the Church is the body of Christ made up of all blood washed believers universally. That it is the will of God that all believers should affiliate themselves into the local churches for the purpose of fellowship, evangelism & discipleship (Eph 1:2-23; Heb 10:25).
* We believe in Final Judgement (Rev 19:20; 20:11-15; 2 Cor 5:10; Rom 14:21).
* We believe in New Heaven & Earth (2 Pet 3:13; Rev 21:22).
CODE OF CONDUCT
* Santity of marriage between believers only and the policy of one man, one wife.
* Christian modesty in matters of dressing.
* Brotherly tolerance of one another, & making reconciliation rather than going to law court as forbidden in 1 Cor 6.
* Total tolerance of all denominations of the Christian faith.
* We serve in the spirit of Humility & consider one another to provoke unto Love & good works.

Christ the Good Shepherd Church is open to membership for everyone who would like to Fellowship with us such as to be saved.

* To see that the Gospel of Christ spreads through every Hooks & Cranies of the Earth.
* To reconcile all souls to God.
* To plant the church across the rural & urban places in the world.
OUR MISSION
* To preach Good tidings.
* To bind up the broken-hearted.
* To proclaim liberty to the captives, & the acceptable year of the Lord.
* To give knowledge of salvation & the remissions of sins.
* To give light to them that are in darkness.
* To guide our feet in the way of Peace.
