=Topic: :"IF GOD BE WITH US": THE BELIEVERS' HOPE IN HOMELESSNESS
=text: Romans 8:28-32
INT. The God we serve is ever faithful, there's no deceit in His dealings with men. He doesn't call anyone for mess. He called us, so that we can show forth His glory
=> Our topic "If God be with Us" is apostle Paul's statement in his letter to the Christians in Rome, in order to encourage and comfort them in their critical situations, and this is the confidence every Christian has in the Lord.
=> The Master (Jesus) promised to be with His disciples (always), before He ascended into heaven (Matt.28:20). He didn't disappoint them,may we never be disappointed as we set our hope on Him.
=> Jesus stood by Peter in the prison, and was delivered.
=> He rescued the apostles on the waters, for He was with them.
= Not in the New Testament alone, what can we say about the 3 Hebrews who refused because of their faith in God. Even the king Nebuchadnezzar recognized "the Son of God" in the furnace.
=> He rescued Daniel in the lions' den. So Paul knew what it meant if God be with a man.
=>FROM THE PASSAGE READ: Apostle Paul makes clear that, we are: *Chosen *Called *Justified and * Glorified. What then can we say to these things?
==>APPLICATION:-
Now, What is Our Confidence "If God be with Us"?
1) We have Comfort in Our Distress
2) We are Sustained by the Lord's Grace (healthwisely, even when we pray for Our Daily Bread)
3) We are secured in both this present life & life eternal.
These benefits are meant for only those who have accepted Jesus as their personal Lord & Saviour. You can take a step of faith now.......
