Topic: LOOK AT GOD FOR YOUR PEACE ACHIEVEMENT
Text: Isaiah 26:3-5
Hebrews 13:5-6
"The Bible says, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!" You have the choice of focusing on your troubles or focusing on the one who holds the solution. Corrie ten Boom wrote: "The blacker the night around us grew, the brighter and truer and more beautiful burned the word of God. If you look at the world, you'll be distressed. If you look within, you'll be depressed. But if you look at God, you'll be at rest".
It is what you concentrate on that decides your amount of peace. So when trouble comes, focus on God's presence; He is with you, and He has promised that He will never leave you (see Hebrews 13:5).

Text: Hebrews 13:5-6
Psa. 115:1-3; John 14:18
Are you facing some troubles right now in the season of your life? Are you feeling depressed.....alone........over--looked...... spiritually on "hold".... cold......barren? Beginning to wonder if your soul will ever thaw? Etertaining doubts that behind those thick, gray clouds there exists a personal, caring God?
Take it by faith, friend; He is there, and furthermore, He is neither dead nor deaf. What you are enduring is one of those dry-spell times when you'd rather curl up and cry than stand up and sing. That's okay.
Those times come.
They also pass.
When this predicament----season ends, you'll be wiser, deeper, stronger. Therefore, in reverence, look up. Be still and discover anew that He is God. That He is doing "whatever He pleases" in your life.

Titus 2:11-14
Anyone who aspires to success in life must recognize the causes of failure. How else can we avoid the pitfalls?
One of the major reasons why people fail in planet earth, is the lack of ability to get along harmoniously with others.
A great businessman ---- one of the wealthiest men of his day --- once told said that he had a five--point measuring stick he used in choosing people for advancement to high executive jobs. The five points are:
1.⁠ ⁠Faculty for getting along with others
2.⁠ ⁠Loyalty to those to whom loyalty is due
3.⁠ ⁠Dependability under all circumstances
4.⁠ ⁠Patience in all situations
5.⁠ ⁠Ability to do a given job well
It is notable that job ability came last. That's because the more ability one has for a task, the more objectionable one may be if lacking the other four traits.

When Christ said to Peter in Luke 22:31, "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat," Peter never knew that he could not win the battle against his plans to make his faith to fail. He did not take the Lord's warning to watch and pray seriously. At first, he sliced off the ears of the High priest's servant and followed it up with a vehement denial that he never knew his Lord.
Satan does not sometimes engage believers in a great battle where they will need to prepare with prayer and fasting. How do you pray and fast when he sends someone to you with flattery and show of love and presentation of gifts? That is how the adversary infiltrates families and churches; and that is why we should not be ignorant but pray to have the spirit of discernment.
Crafty and deceptive, some agents of Satan appear as cheerful, generous suitors, friends, servants, colleagues, philanthropists, etc. Daniel says such deadly people "by peace shall destroy many" (Daniel 8:25). Their counterparts in religious circles use flatteries and miracles that originate from the devil to deceive believers. Watch and pray, in order for you not to be a victim of sudden destruction.

Topic: THE POWER OF WISDOM
Text: Eccl. 2:24-26
Psa. 111:10; Pro. 2:6; Eph. 1:15-17
James says, "If ... you lack wisdom ... ask ... God ... and it shall be given" ( James 1:5 ).
The world spends much money seeking wisdom, but as God's children, we have the wisdom of the creation of the universe at our disposal. Further more, when you develop the patience and maturity to make the wise choice instead of the easy one, you never have to live in "fear or dread" of the outcome. John Mason says growing in wisdom means fearing God, pleasing Him, hearing from Him, looking to Him, choosing His way, staying humble before Him, taking His advice, receiving His correction, maintaining a prayer connection with Him, and knowing His son personally.

Proverbs 18:21
Jesus teaches us the centrality of communication. Like an echo of Proverbs 18:21, the ultimate leader helps us see that words carry the power of life and death:
(a) Words transmit power
(b) Words reveal our character
(c) Words determine our reward and judgement
(d) Words produce fruit
(e) Words shape our destiny
Leaders must never forget the power of their words. God shaped the universe with His words (Genesis 1:2). He sustains His creation with His word (Hebrews 1:3). He even performs miracles through the use of words (Romans 4:17). What's more, God designed us to accomplish things by the wise use of our words.
