A CELEBRATION OF LOVE & GRACE

*On Their 23rd Wedding Anniversary*
Twenty-three years have graced this union blessed,
Like fingers counted, God’s design expressed,
Almighty’s plan unfolds in every day,
As Dr Gbenga walks with First Lady on their way,
Amen, we echo for the purpose shown,
In seeds of faith that you have sown.
You taught us strength flows from the place of prayer,
That daily Bible reading fills the air,
With wisdom’s light and prosperity’s sweet call,
You’ve been the compass guiding us through all,
Your anointing lifts us to greater height,
Your revelations make our darkness bright.
Today we gather, hands and hearts combined,
To honor souls of such a noble kind,
You are God’s gift in this our generation,
His grace upon you; our celebration!
The works you’ve done, the blessings we receive,
Through your devotion, we have come to believe.
When storms of life came rough and dark,
You answered calls and lit the spark,
At midnight hours, you gave your rest,
To comfort us when we were stressed,
Your mentorship, a privilege rare,
Your fellowship; an answered prayer.
Your marriage speaks what marriage means,
A love so true, a bond serene,
With humble hearts and passion strong,
You’ve shown the world right from wrong,
Simplicity and grace define your way,
Your hearts long to see others rise each day.
You’ve passed the test of time’s long race,
Together strong through time and space,
So stop not here, but press ahead,
Show the world what lies ahead,
That marriage vows, when held so true,
Reflect God’s love in all we do.
May heaven’s God increase you on each side,
With grace and strength as you provide,
More power to fulfill your destined call,
Finish strong: victorious over all!
