*Spirit Delicacy* : Acts 18:24-26
*What kind of glory is your family revealing to the world, God's presence or the consequences of disobedience? A family is more than a biological unit; it can become a powerful vessel through which God's glory is revealed. The choices made by parents and children can either strengthen the spiritual atmosphere of the home or create an environment where God's presence is resisted*.
*The Bible presents two contrasting pictures of families. Ananias and Sapphira appeared united, but their unity was built around deception. They agreed to keep back part of the money from the sale of their possession while pretending to give everything. Peter confronted Ananias: “Why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost?” (Acts 5:3). Their story teaches us that family agreement is not automatically a sign of God's glory. A family can be united in the wrong thing. In contrast Priscilla and Aquila demonstrated a home surrendered to God's purpose. They worked together, hosted believers, supported ministry, and helped Apollos understand the way of God more accurately*.
*Their marriage became a platform for ministry and spiritual influence. God desires your family to become a testimony of His presence. Let your home be a place where truth is spoken, prayer is practiced, the Word is honoured, and Christ is exalted. The glory of God in your family should not merely be something you talk about, it should be something people can see through your character, unity, obedience, love, service, and testimony. Do the following :Remove every form of deception and hypocrisy from your home. Establish regular family prayer and Bible study. Let husband and wife support one another in God's purpose. Teach children to honour God and His Word. Make your home a place where others can encounter Christ*.
