Tribulations come to forge in us the character required to fulfil our callings.
We don’t get to choose whether or not difficult circumstances will come our way. But we do get to choose how we respond when they do.
God never promised us a complete life of ease. There is a correlative nexus between PAIN and PURPOSE. Yes, most times, your purpose is hidden in your pain and until you see the purpose in your pain, your pain will remain a source of grief.
Do not feel isolated, God knows first hand what pain is.
Psalm 56:8 states, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.”
While being pursued by his enemies, David had the wisdom to write these words.
God never wastes a hurt, He’s preparing you for something far greater through the trials, struggles, and pain you’re experiencing now.
Do not feel alone, rather pour your heart out to God and ask Him to show you the assignment hidden in your pain. This will shift the focus from your struggles onto God's might.
Psalm 61:2 – From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
