GENETICALLY MODIFIED GOSPEL (GMG)
I bought a watermelon from a certain store during the week. I just love to have a watermelon on a hot summer day. So, I cut this watermelon in half and started cutting slices for my kids. The watermelon looked a bit orange inside, not the normal “pink”, and one more thing, it had no seeds. Absolutely no seeds, so you don’t actually struggle to take out the seeds, you just start eating. It was soo sweet, so juicy, so very nice.., this 'orange' watermelon tasted so amazingly well, it tasted better than a 'normal' watermelon.
My wife sought to know why the watermelon had no seeds. I told her it has been GENETICALLY MODIFIED. It looks and tastes different because the scientists have removed “normal” organic genes in the plant, and they have put some other genes which they have manufactured.
You see GENETICALLY MODIFIED products are good for business, they will make anyone a lot of profit.. let me tell you why:
1) The shelf life is long. If you take an apple that is not genetically modified, you put it on your shelf, after a week you take it out, you will notice a little worm had started to enjoy your apple. It is starting to rot. However, when you take a genetically modified apple, you can put it on your shelf for months, it will only shrink... after six months... the apple just shrank, no worm inside. Just ask yourself, what is wrong with this apple – that not even a worm will eat it.
2) Organic scientists know how to play genes, they can take out the genes in a product that make the product small, and modify those genes to make the product bigger. Also, they can modify the taste, make the fruit sweeter.
3) They yield greater numbers than original products. A tree that normally produces 100 oranges can be “programmed” to produce even 1000. This obviously makes the farmers and corporations very rich very quickly.
4) While it could take months for an original chicken to be a big hen, not so with the genetically modified chicken. It gets big in 21 days, after that, it gets old and dies.
But before we get too excited with these genetically modified products, lets learn what some scientists have said about them.
One GMO scientist said: “All our scientific studies out of Europe and Russia have shown that rats fed on engineered food die prematurely."
Another said: “Many types of cancers have been linked to GMO foods."
This recent conclusion in a research is even more scarier; it said:
“The whole paradigm of the genetic engineering technology is based on a misunderstanding. Every scientist now learns that any gene can give more than one protein and that inserting a gene anywhere in a plant eventually creates rogue proteins. Some of these proteins are obviously allergenic or toxic."
So if genetically modified products are so dangerous, I got to thinking very quickly about a 'Genetically Modified Gospel'! I will call it GMG.
It is obvious that the Gospel has had more genetic modification than vegetables and fruits.
The GMG is very good to preach. You can preach it and offend no one. A GMG is not the gospel which the apostles preached..hehehe NOO!! You see the GOSPEL that the apostles preached got them killed. That was the ORIGINAL GOSPEL: Paul was beheaded just as it happened to John the Baptist, Stephen was stoned, Peter was killed, Jesus Christ the founder of the original was crucified.. The eyes of John the Beloved were gauged out and thrown into a desert island...all disciples were killed, not because they were preaching the Law, do’s and don'ts’... NO, they were not preaching the LAW, they were preaching the ORIGINAL GOSPEL, and they died.
But you see a genetically modified gospel might NOT get you physically killed..It will likely get you a Rolls Royce, designer suits, shoes, watches, people worshipping you and calling you all fancy names!!
A genetically modified gospel will fill the chairs of your Church very quickly. People just love it. You just tell people what they want to hear, and you fill your pockets & bank accounts with money. You can fill stadiums, have a fleet of private jets and have people worship the ground you walk on.
But what are the effects of this Gospel?
Remember my watermelon had no seed..that means my watermelon can never be planted to produce of its kind. The GMG also has no seeds of the life of Christ. It can NEVER produce the life of Christ.
The GMG preacher, like the GM chicken, grows in 21 days. He does not spend time with the Word of God to mature. This week the guy is drinking at a tavern, a pub, a joint, next week, the same guy has long shiny shoes, he has pitched up a tent and he is a prophet, he is talking of angels..In less than a month, he is promoted to senior major apostle prophet. 21 days.. fully grown!!
The preacher of a GMG has no interest in preparing believers for the second coming of the Lord;
A GMG preacher hardly preaches about the coming of the Lord;
A GMG preacher loves to be worshipped;
GMG preachers love it when people call them fancy names: MAJOR, PAPA, SENIOR ANOINTED APOSTLE, PROPHETIC SHARP SHOOTER, DEVIL HUNTER AND DESTROYER..the list is endless....
But when my Jesus Christ, the founder of the original gospel asked people, who do you say I the son of man am, no one called him a Prophetic Perambulator, from heaven..”..when he was crucified forsaken by His very own, there were no people jumping up and down calling him fancy names.
And the same Jesus told all his ORIGINAL PRODUCTS that, “Ye shall be hated of all nations for my name sake”.
So if you are a preacher of the true gospel, and you are starting to feel rejected, dejected, deflated, envious, and wondering why it seems that your Church after 10 years of preaching the gospel only has 80 people, yet that GMG preacher down the road, who pitched a tent last week, now has 2000 followers. Let me encourage you my beloved pastor/preacher and friend, look only unto Jesus Christ. Don’t be tempted to preach GMG; it will not only cost the souls of the people you are leading, it will also take your soul. You see, GMG is 'easy come easy go'. It will never stand on the day of judgement. It might fill the stadia, but it would never fill a hungry soul.
To all original products of the Living God.., Do not fear, for my Lord Jesus Christ has already prayed for you.
In John 17. He said :
“I have manifested thy name unto the men which Thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and Thou gavest them me; and they have kept Thy word.
7. Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou hast given me are of Thee.
8. For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send me."
Therefore, run this race with patience. Let the GMG kings, queens and princes receive their crowns, praises of men and glory now.
But for you, ORIGINAL PRODUCT, there is a crown waiting for you somewhere beyond the blues. One day, with the heavenly host watching, with the saints of old applauding, the FATHER will say unto you:
“Well done my faithful servant and steward!!!"
What a day..!
But, until that day, do not retreat, do not surrender. Rather, recharge and refire. For, at the end of your journey, you will speak like Paul and say:
“I have fought a good fight. I have run the race!!"
Yes you would make mistakes, yes you could fall, but you are God’s original product, do not wallow in self condemnation, rise up, and look straight up to the LORD, from whence cometh your help. The blood of His Son Jesus is not Genetically Modified, It has not lost its power after 2000 years..it can still cleanse ALL sins!! Stand up, hold your head high, raise your chin up!
