THURSDAY 31ST OF OCTOBER 2024.

"We see not our signs there is no prophet neither is there any amongst us that knows how long" Psalm 74:9.

In this Psalm, we can hear the heart cry of the writer for revival to come upon the church and the nations of the world because of the obvious decadence, corruption and insecurity in the land at that time.

This is very applicable today and we must all be burdened to intercede for the church and the nations of the world at this time for there to be a mighty visitation and revival in the land.

This is our responsibility as disciples of Christ by we humbly repenting of our sins individually and corporately as the church and genuinely seek the Lord in prayer to come and rain righteousness upon our land.

As disciples of Christ, lets pray and also reach out by preaching the gospel of Christ but also supporting genuine ministers of God who are doing the kingdom work because the time is short.

The truth is this our works and efforts shall be rewarded. Get on your knees and be busy.

Father, send revival to this nation.
Jehovah, have mercy and forgive our sins and trespasses.

THE DISCIPLE DEVOTIONAL.

WEDNESDAY 30TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

"He has dispersed, he has given to the poor, his righteousness endures forever, his horn shall be exalted" Psalm 112:9

In this Psalm we see the qualities of the blessed man. The blessed man fears the Lord and obey his commandments but more importantly, he is a giver, and liberal in blessing others. Giving is a virtue we must embrace and practice consistently. Five important points about giving:
1. Giving is living, you stop giving then you start dying, dead sea is dead because it does not give.
2. Giving is growing, it's the evidence that you have grown above greed and selfishness. Man is selfish in nature which is the adamic nature not the new life in Christ.
3. Giving is Godliness, it's the nature and character of God, He gave his only begotten Son for us. The proof of your Godliness is giving.
4. Giving is gaining, when you give it will surely come back in greater fold as the scripture has promised in many verses.
5. Giving is gratitude, it's the proof you understand that what you have is from God, and in appreciation you give back to him. Lets imbibe the spirit of giving and be blessed. Give to someone this day.

TUESDAY 29TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

"Blessed be the Lord my strength which teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight" Psalm 144:1.

This psalm written by David given us insight into the realities of spiritual warfare.

Knowledge is essential in winning the battles of life, this knowledge comes through the Holy Spirit who teaches our hands to war and our fingers to fight. Every battle is not the same and so you need specific revelation for specific battles. This is why communion with the Holy Spirit is essential and listening ear is a major advantage in the battles of life.

Obedience now qualifies you for continual victory. Learn about the weapons of warfare that the Lord has provided and engaged the enemy because victory is ascertained and confirmed.

Father, arise and let all my enemies be put to shame.

MONDAY 28TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

"Order my steps in thy word and let not any iniquity have dominion over me" Psalm 119:133.

Deliverance and Discipleship will always lead to dominion which is the plan and purpose of God for man from the beginning. Today we emphasize so much about deliverance without discipleship.

This is why many cannot sustain their or get permanent deliverance and therefore go from places to places looking for deliverance. Sin and wrong habits open the door for demonic oppression and deliverance helps to evacuate demonic activities but what closes the door for demons not to return is strong discipleship teachings.

Disciples must give themselves to the word intake principles so that we can walk in the reality of the word. Dominion is your right and begin to walk in dominion as you take time to equip yourself with the word.

Holy Spirit, empower me to walk in dominion.

THE DISCIPLE DEVOTIONAL.
GET EQUIPPED TODAY.
SATURDAY 19TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

"At thy rebuke O' God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into deep sleep" Psalm 76:6.

Our God is a mighty warrior, He has never lost a battle and He does terrible things in righteousness.

In this psalm the writer is praising Him for the victory he gave to Judah by destroying Sennacherib and the army of the Assyrian. In one minute the angel killed all the 185,000 soldiers of the Assyrian Army. Therefore let us trust and have faith in the ability of the Lord to fight our battles and give us the victory.

Whatever battle is confronting you, hand over the battle to Jehovah the man of war, He will surely make you triumphant. Trust him, seek in prayer, obey him and serve him. He is the king over all the earth.

FRIDAY 18TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

"Set a watch O Lord before my mouth, keep the door of my lips" Psalm 141:3.

One of the most important discipline in the life of a disciple is been revealed in this Psalm of David.

Tongue is a major instrument given to man for his dominion and success in life and destiny. But it can also be a major source of bo***ge, failure and destruction if not properly controlled and managed. The prayer prayed by the psalmist this morning must be a consistent and persistent prayer for us all.

Discipline yourself to control your tongue and the words that comes out of your lips. Avoid unwholesome words, abusive, coercive and negative words. Think before you talk and learn to be quiet and listen more.

You will keep and save yourself from many troubles if you control your tongue. Watch who you are with and prepare what to say, so that you can always be a blessing with the words of your mouth.

WEDNESDAY 16TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

" My son, attends to my words, incline thine ear to my saying, let them not depart from your eyes, keep them in the midst of your heart" Proverbs 4:20

The heart is the control centre for your attitude. Therefore, to change your heart, change your heart. The road to your heart is through the eye gate, ear gate and mouth gate. The key therefore is in the scriptures above, allow the word of God to influence your eye gate, ear gate and mouth gate thereby changing your heart.

Give yourself to hearing the word, reading the word, studying the word, meditating on the word and memorizing the word on a regular basis but more importantly allow the word to change your heart and attitude for good.

The transforming power of the word is so powerful that no one cannot be changed by the word. Get Equipped today by the word.

MONDAY 14TH OCTOBER, 2024.

"See thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings, he shall not stand before mean men" Proverbs 22:29.

The secret of success and greatness is revealed in this chapter. Diligence is a virtue to imbibe and imitate if we want to excel in all areas of life and destiny. Laziness and slothfulness will always bring a person to nothing, this is why you must be up and doing for the Lord to bless and prosper you.

You can't afford to be a spectator in the stage of destiny. There is dignity in labour and there is profit in labour. Embrace diligence today, because spirituality without diligence will bring shame and mediocrity.

Father, deliver me from the Spirit of laziness and slothfulness.

THE DISCIPLE DEVOTIONAL.

THURSDAY 10TH OF OCTOBER 2024.

"Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter anything before God"
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it"
Ecclesiastes 5:2-5.

The preacher is admonishing and encouraging us today about the importance of commitment to vows, covenants and oaths. We are to be careful to hasten to make vows and covenants before the Lord.

The Lord takes our statement before him with great commitment and angels hear and follow on our pronouncement before the Lord. Integrity and sacrifice are needed virtues to help us in staying by our vows and commitments.

Discouragement comes to everybody but we must not entertain discouragement and despair even in the midst of challenges and contrary circumstances. Keeping your vows and commitments is an evidence of maturity and true Godliness.
