❤️❤️❤️ 1st Thessalonians 5:17&18 "pray without ceasing because it is God’s will for you."
If God desires for me to pray without ceasing, why would He tell Joshua, while he was praying to “get off his knees, this is no time to pray."(Joshua 7:10-12) Joshua was pleading to God about his army being defeated by a smaller foe. But the children of Israel were actually reaping consequences from their disobedience.
Any time you read where one of the prophets tells us to listen or Jesus uses the word hear, these two words actually mean to “hear and obey.” God is saying, "It's good that you hear me, but if you don't obey what you hear, you are deceiving yourself." (James 1:22)
We have a part to play in God’s promises coming to pass in our lives. Many of God’s promises have a condition attached. That's what God was telling Joshua, "I made you a promise for victory in this battle but you have not done your part by being obedient to what I have said." And God’s people reaped what they had sown. (Galatians 6:7)
God was telling Joshua to stop hiding behind his prayers and do what I have commanded you to do.
If God has commanded us to do this or don't do this, there's no use praying about it. It isn't a time to pray, it is a time to obey. God is not going to change His mind and reward our irresponsibility. When irresponsibility is rewarded, it just repeats itself.
One of our excuses for not being obedient to God is to say “well I’m praying about it." If we use that excuse, we are wasting our time. God will not answer. If He has already said do this or don't do that, its time to obey not pray.❤️❤️❤️

The Double-Edged Sword Of Ambition.

Ambition is a blessing and a curse. When it is God-directed and Spirit-managed, it can bear tremendous fruit. When it is restrained by humility, ambition can be a powerful motivator. But when it is hijacked by self and ego, it can leave a wake of destruction in its path.

I have wrestled with this issue for most of my life. If you have leadership gifts, you know what it is to be captivated by vision. You know what it is to have dreams of what could be. You know what it is to want to do something significant with your life. Here’s where it gets sticky. Is this drive and desire and motivation about me or about God?

What Will You Do With Jesus?

Matthew 27:20-22
"And the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. The governor answered and said unto them, whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said Barabbas. Pilate saith unto them, what shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?.... "

There is a Man in your heart, and He is the Son of God, Jesus Christ. That same Christ has been 'delivered into your hands ' and His words are in you. Jesus has given you His words, what will you do with them? Would you rather release something else to the people or would you release Jesus to save them? It's up to you. Today you are in the same shoes Pilate was in that day; you need to make a decision : "What do I do with Jesus? " You either release Him or you bind Him. If you will release Him by telling people about Him, He will save them. If you will not, He cannot do anything. What will you do with Jesus that is called Christ?

GOD IS COUNTING ON YOU

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ : for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16).

As Christians, we've a mandate to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it's a high calling. It's something you're to do with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction. You must never be ashamed or apologetic about Christ and the message of the Gospel. Don't be ashamed of who you are in Him, and don't let others make you ashamed of what you believe.
It's only through the preaching of the Gospel that the righteousness of God can be unveiled and embraced.
The words of the Gospel are potent, filled with inspiration, power and divine energy. No sinner should be around you over a period without being transformed and impacted by the power of the Gospel that you bear.
The Bible says those that turn many to righteousness shall shine as stars forever (Daniel 12:3); shine for the Master by making an impact with the Gospel.

LEARN GOD'S WAYS
Notice the way God prepared the children of Israel to take possession of the promised land after 430 years of bo***ge in Egypt.

"And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them NOT through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near;...... But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea ..." (Exodus 13:17-18).

Can you imagine that? A journey to the promised land through the land of the Philistines would have taken just a few days. But God did not choose that way.
In God's way, there is no corner - cutting , you need to understand the things of God. God is never too late, learn to understand God and walk with Him.
God doesn't always take the nearest way. He doesn't always take the way you know. This is where you need the faith element in your walk with God; this is Christianity.

LET CHRIST BE MANIFESTED IN YOU.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

The greatest thing that could ever happen to you isn't only to have and know Jesus Christ, but to also have Him manifested in your life.
When He's manifested in your life, everything that is not of God will give way.
Let Him be manifested in you - spirit, soul and body. Subject your will and emotions to Him, to His Word, and you'll think the thoughts of God, have the emotions of God, and do the will of God.
Christ is the answer. Christ is all you need. Christ is everything. Christ in you is the hope of glory.
