Religious myth on the presence of God —the fallacies

We (as Christians) should by now have understood that by the reason of redemption, you’re by extension, the address of the omnipresence of God. Your spirit became His new address at redemption.

If you understood this deeply, there are some worship songs you will find difficult to sing any longer. There are some beliefs and/or doctrines you will do away with.

Eg.
1. There is something that makes me come into your presence, my helper....
2. Come down oh Lord and manifest thy power..., and the likes.

Where are you coming from? Where are you coming to? What (the presence) you are already carrying, you still want to come into it? It is somehow.

As a Christian, you should be very much aware of your identity in Christ, what really makes you a Christian is the presence you carry. Another name for the brand you are representing is Emmanuel —God with us.

-You carry something on your inside that is dangerous!!! 1Jn3:8
-Something that is greater than what is in the world! 1Jn4:4
-You carry something that overcomes the world on your inside!! You carry God on your inside. 1Jn5:4

Acts2:1-4 established this. In the new covenant, there was not a time or a place we were told that the Spirit went back to heaven. The gifts and calling of God is without repentance Rom11:29.

I can allow you subscribe to those songs or beliefs or doctrines that return us to the era of the “fall”, only if you acknowledge that you do not have the Holy Spirit within you. And we can help you receive the Holy Spirit baptism .

Stop seeking for what you already have within you. The Kingdom (presence) of God is within you, it is a waste of your precious time and moments. Lk17:20-21

I feel it is becoming more glaring why the leading of the Holy Spirit does not seem popular anymore.

Proverbs3:5-7 shed a little light on it. We always want to put the weight of the Lord’s leading on our understanding which is not what God considers when dealing with us.

What you found your wealth on determines the peace you enjoy further with the wealth.

Foundation matters in all we do. A bad foundation cannot produce a good project. Don’t say “If the foundation is destroyed, what will the righteous do”anymore, you could pull down a wrong structure and rebuild it with a solid foundation.

Your life is a project that needs to be established on a fine and firm foundation -truth, love, joy, discipline, righteousness, faith, wisdom, integrity, trust, courage.... these parameters won’t lack peace.

Your wealth won’t add up anymore if it lacks the right foundation; God.

Prayer is not enough2

To get far in your journey in life, if you don’t know the rudiments of prayer and all it entails you’d be slowed down! Especially when you won’t know how to draw the line between what you need to pray on and what you need to take actions on.

Isn’t it surprising that as much as we have praying churches all over -grossly in an increasing trend, the poverty rate never drops, austerity never drops, inflation never drops, divorce seems increasing, depression is becoming more and deadly, character deficit is attacking the pulpit and the pews the more, trust doesn’t mean anything anymore, mortality rate is curving high, our ladies are being molested the more, faith waxes cold easily nowadays, lies are having good time on and off the pulpit. Recently, Covid-19 hit us HARD!

I think we have placed a lot of responsibilities on God than He’s responsible for. He actually is expecting us to be deliberate and intentional about taking great actions.

That you prayed doesn’t mean things will happen on your own terms or expectations. That you prayed doesn’t mean you won’t be faced with challenges or militating factors.

Jesus emphasis in the midst of those militating factors was that “.... be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”

Don’t be fooled! Who bewitched you thus, that prayer will take you to an oversee country without processing your documents and board a plane. Or that you will get admitted into a college without passing all the necessary entry exams and verifications. Or that prayer will build a house for you without you making necessary consultations, get all the necessary materials and build. Prayers don’t print money, government does. Prayer will not help you propose to your spouse to be, you will need to “do” the talking. The success of your marriage is determined by how deliberate you are in making it work beyond prayers.

Did I say you shouldn’t pray, not at all. Prayer is a fertile ground for your actions to thrive and yield rewards. (I believe so much in the power of prayer and I do it a lot)

|Prayer is not enough|

Read 2Sam15&16 and meditate

For the counsel of Ahithophel not to be fulfilled over your life, you need to have more than a double-edged sword strategy, (you need multiple-edged strategy).

Prayer is not enough to overcome the grip of failure, poverty, procrastination, addiction......

To your prayer;
•add thoughtful moment,
•brain/mind storm,
•strategize,
•consult experts -ask for help where and when you need one, ask questions,
•take aggressive actions that align with your strategies and are capable of bringing desirable result(s).
Sometimes, before you go to God in prayer, (Because your words of prayer are first in form of thought or idea). God has perceived your prayer afar of, when they were still thoughts and He had already answered them, He expects that you search within you for the answers to your potential requests, use the wisdom and courage of God within you to take necessary actions.

(2 Samuel 15:31, ESV)
And it was told David, "Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom." And David said {prayed}, "O LORD, please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness." {emphasis mine}
If David has ended at the edge of prayer alone without the edge of strategy of sending his priests (Zadok, Abiathar, their children) and Hushai -his friend to the camp of his enemy, the prayer he prayed would have just been a wast and the counsel of Ahithophel will just have come to pass on him easily.

Note this; your prayers, praise and worship are all invitation to treat, your actions are what makes God proud, they are the difficult part and what bring the answers!

Call that person you were inspired to call while praying.
Submit that proposal you were inspired to submit in your praise session.
Throw that substance you were impressed to throw away while worshiping God.
Show up where you’re needed!

|Love and Wisdom in a new light3|

Sometimes, Love is not enough. Especially when the love is coming from the table of a man.
You see, as much as women (in their fantasies) need 100% attention of their men as a sign of love, you young man must know women need more than love in a relationship. They need wisdom, adventures, they want security, they want to know you’re growing (in intelligence, career, relevance, business....). They are sure when these are established. You both will live comfortably!
A woman interpretes the wisdom of a man as love, that’s her security!
The wisdom of a man helps him to know how to put on a scale of preference how a woman needs to be loved per time and act accordingly.
Sometimes, that you’re growing in your relationship with God is her security, another time, that you’re doing fine in your career is all that matters to her, another time too, your presentability is all that she needs, sometimes your gift and time is her desire.... because of the fleeting nature of the emotions of a woman, how she was loved yesterday might slightly be different from how she “wants” to be loved today.
Young man, seek wisdom and get sense because love won’t pay the bills.
