May 2021 Thanksgiving Service
Theme: Far Above
Bible Text: Daniel 6:1-3
Preacher: Pastor Adeboye

Life is in levels. The lowest level is the grave. Ecclesiastes 9:4
No matter how low a place is, the hands of God can reach it.
John 11
The next level higher than the grave is the valley.

1 Kings 19:4
The next level is the hill top. When you’re on the hill top, you’re already closer to God.
Exodus 17:8-13
The hill top is where contact with God is easier.
The next level is the mountain top.
1 Kings 18:38-39

We are seated with Jesus far above principalities and powers.
Ephesians 1:19-23

If you are below average, the God I serve will give you a brand new brain in Jesus Name.

I decree today concerning all the children that are below average, my God will give you brand new brains in Jesus Name.

Daniel 1:1-20 (Well above average)
Daniel 6:1-2 (Very well above average)
There are still some people that are far above, people that are outstanding.
Daniel 6:3

In the Name of the One who sent me, everyone of you will qualify as outstanding and far above.

What must I do to be far above?
1) Daniel refused to compromise. Daniel 1:8. You must refuse to compromise.
2) You must be diligent. Proverbs 22:29
3) You must be a prayer warrior.
Daniel 6:4
1 Thessalonians 5:17

How do I pray when I’m supposed to be studying?
When you are studying, you can pray in tongues.
It is not unusual for someone who has studied then gets to the examination hall and blank out.

God will only answer the prayer of His own.
Isaiah 59:1-2
If you want to be the first amongst others, outstanding and far above, you must give your life to Jesus Christ.

Prayer Point
Lord God Almighty, I want to be far above in everything in life.
Help me Lord, take me to that height that is higher than I in Jesus Name.

Yesterday was our Variety Sunday and we watched a film titled "Overcomers"

Here are key lessons to learn from the movie

1) You have to forgive yourself, forgive others(for your own sake and maybe theirs too) this is so you can move forward, most times the forgiveness you withhold may be the barricade to what you need to succeed.

2) sometimes obey even without fully understanding at first especially when you're dealing with someone you have some level of trust in.

3)You may never be a real winner without the help of God-ordained helpers.

4) You keep going especially when it feels like it's time to quit.

5) Your identify is whatever your heart is tied to. Know your identity in Christ. Your identity is what you stand for everywhere you go at anytime.

6. The word is a platform for we Christians to Grow our Faith and Trust in God. Study the Word more, so that you won't be distracted with the happenings of this world and join them do it.
