18 years old Boy k”lls his master with pestles | Tragic Incident in Fegge, Onitsha South

A tragic incident reportedly occurred on the night of February 14/15 at Onyia Uke Street, Fegge, Onitsha South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

According to reports, a young apprentice (commonly referred to in Igbo as a “Nwaboyi”) identified as Chiemerie allegedly attacked his employer, Iyke Nwa Ume, also known as “Turn by Turn,” with a pestle and k’lled him

It was gathered that after the shop closed for the day, Chiemerie did not return home at the usual time. The shop manager reportedly informed Iyke Nwa Ume about his absence. At the time, Iyke was said to be at a club with friends and allegedly instructed that if the apprentice returned, he should go back to where he had come from.

Later that night, when Iyke Nwa Ume returned home, he was allegedly attacked from behind. Reports indicate that the suspect hid behind the kitchen door and struck him with a pestle. Iyke’s sister, who attempted to intervene, was also reportedly attacked and sustained injuries.

Iyke Nwa Ume was later confirmed d£ad following the attack. His body has been deposited in the morgue, while his sister is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

Chiemerie is in police custody as investigations continue. Authorities are expected to provide further details as the case progresses.

THERE IS NO MAN THAT DOESN'T WANT TO PROVIDE FOR HIS WIFE. MEN ARE MORE THAN HAPPY DOING THAT. PERSONALLY, I WANT TO FULFILL THAT. ❤️

But my wife must understand these things.

1) What I can afford
If her desires go beyond what I can afford at a moment, if she is bent on extravagance, then that could lead to some issues. Living within means is key.

2) We will not risk the future on extravagance.
If we would own properties, have investments, then we would be careful of how we spend too.

3) Her income is part of the family’s income.
Now this is what a lot of women don’t want to hear. Now I’m not talking about a man being possessive of the wife’s income, but a willful accountability is necessary for a sustained home. The exception is if when I’m a billionaire and she earns in thousands.

4) The home is hers as much as it is mine
Responsibility is not gender based. We each do what we have to do to make the home thrive.
