Dear brethren in God's vineyard,
We surely believe that you are brimming with joy, gratitude, and resolve. With hearts warmed by faith and trust, fortified by God's love and fueled by the grace of community. The CALL that brings us together is rooted in transition, in the ending of one year and the dawning of another. This is a moment of reflection and anticipation; of retrospection and introspection; of thanksgiving and re-commitment.
As we gather in God’s house this this year, I am deeply moved by the familiar faces that are not just our fellow worshippers, but our family. For the fellowship is not merely a building of bricks and wood, rather, it’s made alive by the multitude of spirits who gather within its walls.
Dear friends, if we cast our minds back to the beginning of last year, we may remember the uncertainty, the unfamiliarity; we may recall the quiet prayers whispered in the silence of our hearts, asking God for guidance, protection, and wisdom. Remember that we started the year not knowing— not knowing what would come, what would happen, what the future would look like.
As we step into the freshness of this new year, may we remember these words, embracing the assurance of His unfailing love, His steadfast providence, and His infinite creativity in our lives and in our community.
So, let us look forward with expectation, knowing that God is already there. Let us step into the New Year with joy in our hearts, as we trust God to continue His work in us and through us.
Thank you and may God's full and abundant blessings be upon us all as we embark on this new year. Amen.
We expect to see more of your presence this year, God bless and replenish your energy in Jesus name.
AMEN!
