Friendship should be about bringing the best out of each other. While you enjoy good times and create wonderful memories, you should also focus on building each other up. There are things that you can learn from your friends and there are also things that your friends can learn from you. Godly friendships should be about helping each other grow in your knowledge of God and His Word. The way iron can sharpen iron, is the same way in which you and your friends should sharpen one another. When you leave one another's presence, you should have learned something that will help you grow.

You don't have to arrange specific meetings for teaching or building one another - though that is something you could try every now and then. Building one another should come naturally, in your normal conversations. This is why you need to make sure that your friends are as focused as you are on developing your relationship in God and making something great out of your life. If you choose to associate with people who do not take their lives seriously, you will struggle to grow. If you choose to associate with focused people who have great ambitions and are passionate about the things of God, you will grow in leaps and bounds.

Your friends should inspire you to do better and to be a better person. They should be inspired to do the same thing when they spend time with you. When your friendships are rooted in God, you will grow in the right things because you both have the right priorities. You will push one another to maximize on your full potential. The best friendships are the friendships where you communicate well, you pray together, and you celebrate one another's victories. Great friendships are also characterized by supporting and encouraging one another when challenging times come.

When we receive God’s grace, how fully do we grasp what we have been given? When we run into trouble and God gives us a way out, do we just head back to our old lives? Or do we understand that salvation is now? It’s not a far-off hope, it is now, in our midst, in our hands, ready for us to take hold of and use, as we proceed through life as people changed by grace.

Prayer
Lord, I have spent too much of my life running from You, making my own way, and putting off taking hold of the free gift that You have been holding out for me. Thank You for Your relentless grace, Lord. I accept Your gift of salvation and ask that You would transform my life and give me a new direction according to Your ways. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The best way to show our love for God is to obey Him. When we are walking in step with God, we ourselves are assured of our relationship with Him, and others also see what a life lived in communion with God looks like. But when we ignore God and follow our own way, we not only hurt our witness to others, but we invite doubt into our own minds.

If you could ask God for anything, what would it be? Good health? A conflict-free life? Riches and comfort? Would wisdom be at the top of your list, as it was for Solomon? Perhaps it takes a degree of wisdom to even ask for wisdom. But when we do seek wisdom, God provides it and brings us closer to His heart and mind, so that our days may be more fulfilled by a closer walk with Him.

Weathering the Storm

The love you give to other people must be able to weather all seasons. People tend to make the mistake of thinking that love is only about feeling good. They believe that love is about the good times and nothing else. But that could not be any further from the truth. In friendships, family, and other meaningful relationships you will need love to help you through the tough times too. The tough times tend to come far often than we expect them, too. Challenges come in different shapes and sizes; they always arrive when we least expect it.

The love you have for your friends and your family should not be conditional or seasonal. You need to understand that people are going to let you down in life - whether you like it or not. Instead of shutting them out, choose to love them and forgive them for their shortcomings. We also have to acknowledge the fact that we, ourselves, are not perfect and we will make mistakes too. In those moments, you will hope for love and forgiveness too. It's very easy to judge others when you are the one who is on high ground.

Love keeps you together when it seems like all hope is lost. With the world we live in, it isn't very hard to lose hope. The physical, natural, and economic disasters that occur on a daily basis are enough to weaken the strongest hearts. But that is why we have friends and family - to get through everything together. No one was born to be an island. We have been blessed with the gift of companionship so that we can love one another through the great moments and through the storms. Love is enough to give a person the boost they need to carry on with their day.

Without God, we could have no good thing. Even before we know Him, He gave us tastes of His goodness by His grace. And now that we have received the full measure of His grace, let us draw nearer to Him. All joy, all gladness, everything that is good is a gift from our Heavenly Father who loves us.

Prayer Point:
Father God, I am in awe at the unending depth of Your goodness. Even in my sin, You chose to pour out Your love on me so that I could experience a measure of Your goodness. And know that I know You, I want to know You even more. Every blessing and joy of this life fills my heart with gratitude, for they all flow from You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

BIBLE TEXT
Lamentations 3:27
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

MESSAGE
Specifically, the morning of a man stands for his youth. In 1 John 2:14, Apostle John said, "I have written to you young ones because you are strong." The major characteristic of youths is their strength.
I know most youths see their youthful days as days to enjoy themselves. This is true, according to Ecclesiastes 11 : 9-10: "Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth ... but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment ..." Note that the above passage also says that youths will account for the seeds they sow later in life. Those that spend their youthful days engaging in all sorts of vices will reap plenty of trouble later in life (Galatians 6:7). In Genesis 49 : 1- 4, when Israel was about to die, he called his children together and began to prophesy about their future. He said concerning Reuben, "Mighty Reuben, excellency of strength ... but you will not excel." Why did he say this? In Genesis 35:22, Reuben did something that he should not have done, and his father heard about it. Now, when his father was about to die, he told him he would not excel, even though he was the firstborn. When you read Revelation 7 : 1- 5, you'll be amazed that by the time they were listing the children of Israel who were sealed, Reuben was no longer the first.

Beloved, if you are young now, meaning that you're less than 30 years old, make good use of your youth. Be careful of the kinds of seeds you sow now because you will reap their fruits later, and the harvest is always greater than the seed sown. When Jesus says that the harvest is abundant but the laborers are few, do you think he was only talking about his time here on earth, or was he talking about now as well? If statistics are correct, most people who identify themselves as Christian do not attend church on a regular basis. Where are the others? Where are the laborers who should be gathering the harvest? We need to pray for men and women to answer the call to minister to God's people but we also need to pray for ourselves to reach out to those who don't understand the value of what we have. Do you talk about the importance of your faith in God with others in your family, your circle of friends? I know that I was told as a child that the two things you don't talk about are religion and politics, but why?

Perhaps when people were refused jobs or housing on the basis of their religious beliefs, it was necessary, but today? If you are in the market for a car – or a computer – who would you talk to? If you only talk to professionals, you might think you're just getting a sales pitch, so you ask your friends or relatives what they own and whether or not they would recommend it. I'm not dismissing the value of those of us who are professionals in the faith department! But I am suggesting that each of us as friend and relative has more influence than we think. We understand how our faith gets us through the tough times. How we welcome the support of our community in times of joy as well as sorrow. We understand the value of faith in our lives. What makes us so afraid to talk about it? At this particular time in our churches and in our world, the need for laborers is great indeed. Will you go out into the fields?

This is a hard saying in today's world. Sexual immorality is so rampant and public that few people believe it to be immoral! People no longer think of sexual behavior outside of marriage as wrong and, in fact, have no problem with going from one person to another quite publicly, broadcasting their behavior on social media and if you're famous enough, on twitter, on TV, in magazines, etc. What happened to "Thou shalt not commit adultery?" I guess I'm old fashioned. I'm not about to condemn anyone who truly loves another and is faithful to them regardless of marriage, but I don't understand and cannot condone random sexual encounters that are not based on love but lust, have no desire for permanency but are literally just to satisfy a sexual itch.

Sorry if I offend anyone, but if we believe that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit to be kept holy, how can we treat them as what – toys, prizes? I'm aware that women have often been treated as sexual objects rather than human beings, but men have also been treated badly and often have been given expectations that are false. Men and women are all created in the same image of God with the same free will and with the same purpose, to be the face of God in the world. And our God is not like the promiscuous gods of the Romans, the Greeks, the Egyptians or any other culture. For our God is one of unconditional love, and as he loves us, he expects us to love others and that does not mean using another for pleasure. I hope that someday, we will cease to promote immorality and be more concerned with our immortality.

Eating Food Outside Your Home Increases The Risk Of Early Death

Genesis 1:29, 2:8,9,15&16

God's original plan for man was to eat plant food. Adam and Eve were given their home and given a plant based diet.

The food at home is best and can be controlled but it is not same with what you eat outside. We are required to eat according to God's command to stay alive. Good food given to us by God is a balanced diet. Without health, life is threatened as you are what you eat. Balanced diet supplies the required body nutrients.

Enhanced academic performance
Unretarded growth
A better health condition
Long life

When a non balanced diet is eaten, the following takes place

Risk of early death
Exposure to disease

A healthy balanced diet should contain

1. Minerals
2. Anti oxiditants- substances that reduces
3. Contains beta carotene
4. A variety of foods such as fruits, vegatables and

Foods to be avoided are
1. Excess sugar and salt
2. Allcohol
3. Unsaturated fats
4. Red meat
5.

The list up here is mostly what you find in restaurant and eateries. Terminal diseases is common with those who eat outside. Four of the ten leading causes of death in the United States are directly linked to diet. Cancer, stroke, Type 2 diabetes and heart diseases.It's not serious when such people live a sedentary lifestyle.

We must therefore be intentional about health. Eating outside increases the risk of early death. When we eat the wrong food ,the risk of these diseases increase.

Do you want long life? You must regard the law of God and be intentional about your lifestyle. There is a great connection between spirituality and nature. We must make out time or purposely stay is such environment.

Prayer
1. Take care of us and give us grace to make decisions that will impact our lives positively
2. Grant us grace to live in accordance to health principles.
