The Association of The Friends of Jesus is a charism group deeply involved in evangelism and outreach. The Association has survived after the demise of Fr. Adegbite on 31st October, 2007 and has continued in line with the vision of the founder. During the time of Fr. Adegbite, the Association was localized in SS Philip and James Catholic Church, Idado, Lekki where he was stationed as the Parish Pr

iest with members coming from all parts of Lagos Archdiocese and its environs. This position has since changed after the demise of Fr. Adegbite, with SS Philip and James Catholic Church Lekki being the headquarters of the Association but with the Association now established in various parishes in the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos as part of its vision to spread even beyond the shores of Nigeria. Some of the parishes in the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos where the Friends of Jesus Association has active communities are:

*I HAVE COME TO GIVE YOU LIFE IN ABUNDANCE!*

*Friends of Jesus!*

The ways of the Lord may seem mysterious, but God is very straight forward and direct in all His dealings.

*Jesus spoke in John 10 vs 10,* that the enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy.
These are the three main attacks the enemy plans on every child of God.

*To STEAL*
God had endowed us with a lot of gifts and blessings *Proverbs 10 vs 22 and Romans 11 vs 29 can attest to that.*

God has blessed us in abundance, more than we can think of or imagine, but it is our duty to discover the use and purpose of the gifts and blessings of God and put them to good use for greater gains/profits and manifestations.

Many of God's children possess these gifts and blessings but are ignorant of it, so the devil preys on our ignorance to steal these blessings from us and leave us helpless, poor and sad.

*To KILL*
The enemy targets life, as he knows the importance of the life God has given us. Most children of God do not realise that life is the most precious gift that God has given us, so we fail to preserve life and protect it accordingly.
We constantly put ourselves at the risk of losing this precious gift of God through sinful, senseless, careless and dangerous actions and activities and keep hoping that the grace of God will save us, which happens most times, but not every time.

As children of God, we should learn to stop living at the risk of losing our lives both physically and spiritually.

*To DESTROY*
The target of the enemy after stealing and killing is to destroy. The enemy wants to ensure that there is no trace of God's presence, mercy and blessings in our lives, so he works on destroying and removing anything, that may act as a source or avenue to reconnect us to the healing and restoration power of the Almighty God.
He works on disconnecting us totally and ensuring that whatever loss or destruction we encountered endures for ages.

*But there is hope.....*

Weeping may endure for the night, but Joy comes in the morning, *Psalm 30 vs 5.*

*Joy is surely coming....*

Jesus said in the same *John 10 vs 10* , *that HE HAS COME to give us life that endures.*

*We should never underestimate the power and mercy of God*, as God comes to gives us a new identity and foundation, to rebuild better lives and structures, than those destroyed by the enemy or the devil.

*So, fear not, God is with you, Isaiah 43 vs 5*

No matter what your past has been, new life awaits you.

No matter your pain or loss, healing awaits you.

No matter your situation, new conditions and opportunities awaits you.

No matter the family troubles and problems, be faithful, steadfast and hope in God, for Joy is coming.

We need to know that whatever was stolen, taken/killed and destroyed was given over time so, the restoration will also come over time.

*Be steadfast and courageous, for the Joy of God's healing, new birth and restoration is coming your way.*

*So, BE PATIENT FOR THE MASTER HAS COME!!!*

New births, new blessings, new life, new joy, new testimonies and all good things are coming, for the Master Jesus Christ will give you new life, graces, relationships, possessions, graces, gifts, opportunities, relationships and salvation that will endure forever.

*10 DAYS TO GO*

Friends of Jesus!

Our annual June Prayer Program is here again.

It would run from Sunday 1st June to Monday 30th June 2025.

As usual, it would involve daily prayers and spiritual activities.
This is a month of intense prayers, for 30 days straight we shall be fully connected to heaven, to ensure the floodgates of heaven are opened, to flood our lives with God's Mercy, Favours, Goodwill and Blessings.

Wr shall not faint and be weary, but shall renew ourselves daily for 30 days.

SO, BE PREPARED!!!

Friends of Jesus!

With thanksgiving in our hearts and praises on our lips, we bow to worship His Majesty in the Splendor of His glory for carrying us through the year 2024 and bringing us into another glorious year, 2025.

In wonders of His glory, this year we shall see the goodness of the Lord. His glorious presence shall distinguish us and all that belongs to us like the Goshen of Old.
The economy of Nigeria and the world shall not determine our living but the Government and economy of heaven shall define us. When men are cast down you shall be lifted up. Healing in His wings shall overshadow you, your home and the entire body of Christ. This year shall be better than every other year in our life in the name of Jesus Christ.
The death of Goliath and every Herod in our life and family is declared in the name of Jesus Christ.
We shall experience peace and total recovery. The goodness of God in our life and exploit in the Kingdom shall be greater than ever.
May the Almighty God fight for you and you shall hold you peace as we enter 2025
