GAC Ikeja

GAC Ikeja We are committed to raising ambassadors for Christ. Our Tenets of Faith (Bible-based principles that are given priority attention in our church) are:-

1.

We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God (II Tim 3:16)
2. We believe that the Holy communion is Christ’s institution and we should do it in commemoration of Him (I Cor. 11:24 – 25)
3. We believe that Jesus Christ will reign for one thousand years on earth with His saints (Rev 20:6 – 7).
4. We believe in baptism by immersion (Matt. 3:16, Acts 8:38 – 39)
5. We believe in the ba

ptism of the Holy Ghost with the signs following (Mark 16:17)
6. We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:3, Rev 1:7)
7. We believe that government on earth is from divine origin and every soul should be subject unto the higher powers (Rom 13: 1 – 3, Dan 5:21)
8. We believe in unity of the God Head and the persons therein of the trinity (I John 5:7 – 8)
9. We believe in the real depravity of human nature necessitating salvation through repentance and regeneration and also in everlasting punishment of the final impenitent (Rom 3:23, Luke 13:3).
10. We believe justification as God’s grace acquitting the sinner, as one standing that has never sinned before God and sanctification of the believers through the finished work of Jesus Christ in obedience (Rom 5:1 – 5)
11. We believe in divine healing of bodily ailment through faith and in obedience in the sacrifice of the precious blood of Jesus Christ which is obtained in His name only. (Mark 16:17 – 18)
12. We believe in the obligatory work of tithes and offering in obedience to God’s command (Mal 3:10 – 12)

God sees beyond the public place.

This carousel reminds us that prayer is not performance. It is fellowship with the Father who sees in secret.

In Matthew 6:5-15, we are called to pray with the right motive, to shut out distractions, to depend on God daily, to forgive others, and to trust Him for deliverance.

May your secret place with God become stronger this week.

Swipe, reflect, and be blessed.

As we hear the word and spread the word
The word of God shines on us and lights us up
His awesome love spreads....

Let your glory fill beyond our heads in our days
As we proclaim the truth of God in all the earth

Topic: BE CHILDLIKE

Lesson Text: Mathew 18:1-5

Memory Verse: But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for such is the kingdom of heaven” Mathew 19:14

Outlines:
1. Receiving The Kingdom Of God As A Little Child, What Does It Mean?
2. How Can We Be Childlike?

Key Points to note in the Lesson:
1. Receiving the kingdom of God means approaching God without preconceived notions but with a childlike faith, trust, and dependence in God’s leading, no matter where He leads.
2. We should let go of pride, be teachable, and be willing to follow God’s instructions.
3. Just as little children, we should not let our hurts from yesterday poison our today; rather, let us offer to others what Christ first offered to us.
