Our Regional Overseer , Pst Olaniyi Oladimeji with his sermon titled " Basic Facts about Children" emphasized on children as the heritage of God.

Text : Psalms 127:3, 1Cor 15:41

1: Children are not burdens but blessings from the Lord.

2: Children are joyful legacy for parents who have invested in them

3: Every child is unique and created intentionally by God

4: Children must be encouraged and taught by their parents to start and end their day daily with the Lord in prayer

5: Children must be truthful and as parents we lead by examples.

6: As parents , we are God's representative to guide with love and not provoke them .

The Abundant Life in Christ Jesus
Text: John 10:10, 1 John 5:21, Luke 12:15, John 14:6, Psalm 23:5, Isaiah 53:5

When God blesses someone, He blesses the person more abundantly. The human soul cannot exist in a vacuum.

WHAT IS ABUNDANT LIFE?
• Spiritually rich in purpose — such kind of life is purposely arranged
• A life filled with joy and peace
• Spiritually attained rather than that of material wealth (Luke 12:15)
BASIC FACTS ABOUT ABUNDANT LIFE:
1. It is found in Jesus Christ only — John 14:6
2. It focuses on the spiritual quality of life and purpose, not on material things
3. It is not just a promise from heaven but a life of a believer here on earth
4. It is a life of God that is poured out on the life of a believer beyond measure — Psalm 23:5
5. 5. The strength of God is one of the ingredients of abundant life
BENEFITS OF ABUNDANT LIFE
1. They are saved from being lost
2. Healing power for those who are sick — Isaiah 53:5
3. There are physical and spiritual wealth in abundant life

HOW TO ACQUIRE ABUNDANT LIFE
1. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and accept Him
2. Be a follower of Christ

Truth is not lie neither falsehood.

In the market of life, truth has recorded the lowest sales because the world we are doesn't buy it.

Facts about TRUTH

📌 Jesus is the truth John 14:6
📌The truth starts from the heart Psalm 15:2
📌 God's work is the truth.
Dan 4: 37
📌 The worship of God is truth John 4:24
📌The word of God is truth .
John 17:17

Truth is Jesus himself, we must buy it and sell it not.

Why people hate the Truth

📌The way of truth is slow and steady
📌Truth opens up secret
📌The truth is a very bitter pill

Why you should buy the truth

📌It will give you freedom John 8:32
📌 Nothing can be done against the truth
📌Truth is the food for your conscience.
📌Truth makes you a blessing to yourself and other people.
📌Truth sanctifies you and makes you acceptable before God .

Monday 6th of April was another Workers' Retreat held @ the church auditorium.

It was am embodiment of prayer chain, choir ministration and teachings.

There were three lectures anchored by our R. O , Pst Olaniyi Oladimeji.

Lecture 1:
CHILDREN UNDER ATTACK

Text: Ps 127: 3-5, Matt 18: 1-3,

Children are priceless gift from God to mankind, a source of joy and bundle of blessings.

A child's problem comes from various sources such as evil foundation, collective captivity, evil dedication and parental factors.

A child under attack will exhibit some things that can be seen physical. Stubbornness & rebellion, zero interest in the things of God, enjoying company of bad friends and even addiction to drugs and other vices.


Such children can be helped by their parents:
📌when the parents look inwardly
📌 develop special interest in them and correct in love
📌pray for them regularly and go for deliverance.

Lecture 2
THE SPIRIT OF LAZINESS
Text: Prov 24:30-34, 6: 6-11, Ecc 10:18

Laziness means wearing the shoe of procrastination, an unwillingness to exert physical or mental efforts when a person is capable.
📌 It is a bewithment from the devil
📌A lazy person cannot expect the best of God
📌He gives excuse for missing quiet time and regular bible reading

LECTURE 3

LIES FROM THE KINGDOM OF SATAN

Text: Matt 12:26

Satan is the father of all liars( John 8:44)

Be mindful of your relationship with a liar because it is communicable.

God is unlike man that tells lie.

📌 Lies push out from
the kingdom of satan.

There's nothing like foundational problem. ( Lam 5:7)

Devil is omnipresent
No person called Devil Rev 12:9

Some categories of people can't be forgiven by God (Isa 1:18)

Today's service doubled as our Thanksgiving Service and Holy Communion. The sermon emphasized on the love of Jesus Christ towards mankind by
coming to the world to die for sinners and reconcile man back to God

Today, we gathered as one church family to worship, pray, and celebrate God’s love together. It was a beautiful time of fellowship, laughter, and blessings for every member of the family. Truly, when families come together in faith, God’s presence fills the room! ❤️

🎭 *Drama Ministration – “Gird Your Loins”*

What a powerful presentation today!

The drama reminded us that in a world full of comparison, pressure, and impatience, God is calling us to be *content and to trust Him completely.

To “gird your loins” means to be spiritually prepared — steady, disciplined, and unshaken. When we are properly girded:

✔️ We don’t run ahead of God
✔️ We don’t envy others
✔️ We trust His timing
✔️ We remain content in every season

Contentment is strength.
Trusting God is wisdom.
Waiting on Him is not weakness.

May we remain girded, focused, and confident that God’s plan is perfect 🙏🏽

🔥 SUNDAY SERVICE HIGHLIGHT 🔥
*Theme: Strength for an Evil Hour*
*Thanksgiving Sunday 💃🏽🕺🏽*

Today we were reminded that *an evil hour* is that season when darkness seems to prevail… when nothing appears to be working… when storms rise unexpectedly.

But God’s Word assures us:

📖 “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” – Psalm 30:5
📖 “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
📖 “Take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day.” – Ephesians 6:13

No matter the storm, we are not powerless.
God gives us *strength for the evil hour.*

✨ How do we stand strong?
• Avoid sin
• Become prayerful
• Read the Word consistently
• Stay in fellowship
• Connect with strong prayer partners

And because today is *Thanksgiving Sunday*, we declared that our morning of joy has come! 🙌🏾
We danced, we worshipped, we gave thanks — because victory is sure in Christ.

Your night season will not last forever.
Joy is coming. Strength is available. Victory is certain.
