WHEN GOD IS SILENT

He trusted God— let God show his approval by delivering him! Didn’t he say, ‘I am God’s Son’?” Matthew 27:43 (LB)

Jesus experienced mockery from his persecutors because they expected that the God He served and spoke much about should be able save him from the painful torture of the cross but to their amazement, nothing happened.

There are times that you may want God to act very fast but it looks like He is slow or not available. Don't be discouraged, he is not slow, He is watching. (2 Peter 3:9)

Whenever God seems silent, it means He is:
•Testing your level of patience and endurance

•Testing your convictions to know what is in your heart

•Preparing you for Promotion

Don't let that delay, negative circumstances, family pressure, friends or foes make you feel like God has abandoned you, you have an assurance from his word that says: He will neither leave you nor forsake you

I pray that the grace you need not to give up is released to you in Jesus name.

Do have a great week ahead

YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE

Luke 13:8-9 - But he answered and said to him, "Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down."'

Opportunities are difficult to come by but when it comes, utilizing it is what makes it meaningful. There is a saying that "opportunities come but once and if lost, it is hard to regain".

Christ's attention was drawn to a man who He expects to get fruits from but had nothing to show for three years. Instead of discarding the man, He gave him another chance to succeed.

Has God invested so much in your life and you have not brought him returns?
Have you broken the trust He had in you by sinful mistakes, character and habits?
Are you feeling frustrated because of fruitlessness in your life, finances, business, career, academics etc?

I hear Him say that he is giving you another chance to make necessary corrections. He wants to mend you, help you, fix you and promote you that is why you have a second chance. Wouldn't you maximize it?

I pray that the grace needed not to waste this opportunity will be given to you in Jesus name.

OPEN YOUR MOUTH

2Kings 5:3 - Then she said to her mistress, "If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy."

The 21st century Christian is more self conscious and self centered. This proclivity towards self (Me, Myself and I) has affected the spread of the gospel because they also keep the good news of the Saviour to themselves.

The young girl in Namaan's household availed herself as an agent of light in the midst of darkness. She saw a problem that she could help in getting solution for. Though she had limitations such as age (Young), social status (slave), economic status (poor), educational status( uneducated) but all of these did not stop her from talking about the power of God in Israel.

Every true child of God has the mandate to speak to people about Christ in season and out of season. There are unbelievers ('leprous people') around you like your boss, family members, friends, neighbours, associates, and surbodinates who are dieing in there sin. All God expect you to do is to speak to them about Christ and then leave the rest for Him to handle.

Your closed mouth could be leading someone to hell; open it and let God use it to liberate and save someone today.

Receive grace to point people to Christ in Jesus name.

YOU CAN BE THAT MAN

1Kings 22:8 - ...... "There is still ONE MAN, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD; ......"

Standing for God in the face of difficulty is a major determinant of your commitment and love for Him. Micaiah was a prophet who against all odds stood for the truth. The four hundred prophets in his days had compromised their stand before the king by telling lies and as such lost their place with God.

Unfaithfulness and all manner of lies (white, blue, black etc) abound in our days. This trend has made it look like 'everybody' is doing it which is not true. Even born again Christians are caught in this web. The truth is that God has and knows His own who are still staying true and faithful to Him. (1Kings 19:18; 2Timothy 2:19)

God is still in the business of rewarding faithful Micaiahs' who are still standing for the truth in their families, relationships, marriages, work places, churches, business, schools etc ( Matthew 5:10). It is worthy of note that: ONE WITH GOD IS MAJORITY.

God's word to you today is not to give up in faithfulness, truthfulness and righteousness because you could just be that man He is waiting for

May God grant you grace to stand for Him in Jesus name.

BREAK IT NOW

Mark.14.3........a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head

The life of sacrifice is truely a life of service. The woman who broke the alabaster box through discernment and understanding knew what to do per time - she sacrificed for the master what she should have sold to service her need.

She never saw anything as being too much to give to her master. From the passage we can glean that

• Her sacrifice made her unforgettable

• You can't sacrifice for God and go unrewarded whether in cash or kind

• Giving to God cannot make you poor

• God accepts sacrifices that comes only from a cheerful and willing heart

• Her sacrifice took her from obscurity into limelight.

Make that sacrifice for Jesus today and you will never regret it.

VACANCY! VACANCY! VACANCY!

1Kings.19:16b -.... And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.

Elijah was a powerful prophet that did mighty things for God. At the height of his ministry, he allowed complaints, unbelief, doubt and fear to set in and this resulted in him being replaced with Elisha prematurely.

There are many Christians today who have declared their position, place and assignment vacant by their attitudes and disposition to the things of God. They get over familiar with God and think they are indispensable and as such treat holy things as common.

God is still in the business of cutting off unfaithful stewards (Matt 3:10). He can declare your position vacant if He sees that you are not serious with Him. Note that Instead of God to change His Purpose, He would rather change the Person

What is that assignment God has committed into your hands that you are procrastinating or even abandoned?

Are you in the habit of always complaining or giving excuses to God?

Have you abandoned God's plan for your own plan?

The word of God to you today is REPENT or be REPLACED

I pray that your place will not be declared vacant in Jesus name.

PLEASE ALLOW GOD

Proverbs 19:21- There are many plans in a man's heart, Nevertheless the LORD's counsel--that will stand.

God created humans with the ability to think. This process led man into having many plans to execute. There is the plan for the future, marriage, family, career etc. All of this happen to ensure that man is not stranded in anyway. An adeage says if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

However, in all of your plans, the place of subjecting it to the scrutiny of God is what makes it successful. It is the counsel of God that can stand the test of time, scale and confront obstacles, disproof ungodly theories and dispel impossibilities. It is God's counsel that can bring about your needed Miracle, Joy and Peace.

Struggling with God's counsel will make you stranded and miserable.
What is that plan of yours that is conflicting with God's plan in your relationship, marriage, career, ministry, business etc. My advice to you is PLEASE ALLOW GOD.
Allow His will to be done.
Allow Him to lead you.
Allow Him to counsel you.
Allow Him to choose for you
Allow Him to fight for you.

I pray that the grace to allow God into every area of your life be released to you in Jesus name.

CHALLENGE THE STATUS QUO

Numbers 27: 1 - 11

The daughters of Zelophehad were denied their inheritance because of an unwritten instruction in Israel about female heir. The ladies did not keep silent but they challenged the order of the day.

There are certain things we have grown up to accept, adopt and adapt into our lives without asking why it is happening that way. This sheepish silence has prevented many people of there blessing, right and inheritance.

From he lives of these ladies we can learn the following:

•Do not just accept what you are told, verify the source

• Always enquire from God on any matter of life and destiny

• The majority may not always be right. One with God can be right

• Do not limit yourself and destiny by what other people do or believe in

• God is the final Judge concerning every matter. His word is always available to verify from

I pray for you that all your benefits will be released to you in Jesus name.
