TODAY'S DEVOTION (14/08/26):

LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32......

In this day and age, it’s easy to become distracted, almost consumed with all the obligations we have on a daily basis.

Cell phones, computers, the internet have all made it so much easier to pack more into our days.

And while technology is a great blessing to us, we have to remember that how much we get done isn’t as important as how we treat others.

We should never be so focused on plowing through our “to do” list that we mistakenly plow past the people in our lives.

Ephesians 4:32 simply reminds us to be kind, compassionate and forgiving. If people had to be reminded back in those times, how much more do we need to be reminded today!

We should always be on the lookout for ways we can be kind to one another.

Can you share a smile with someone or an encouraging word? Can you help meet a need?

Remember, as a believer, you are the hands and feet of Jesus. Look for ways to serve one another. Sow a seed of kindness and watch the harvest of blessing in your own life in return!

Hallelujah!

May be loved today in Jesus' name......

Jesus is looking out for you. He wants to have compassion on you. Will you be found?

LET US PRAY:
1. Thank God for another day to live for God.

2. Pray to God to help you find creative ways to show kindness to the people He has put in your life.

Good Morning, And Be Compassionate Today!

TODAY'S DEVOTION (13/08/26):

OVERCOMING TEMPTATION

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:11........

When temptations come, let me suggest that you ask God for strength, and also to show you the way He has prepared for your escape.

One other word of counsel; be very sure that you do not deliberately place yourself in a position to be tempted.

All of us are not subjected to the same weaknesses and temptations.

To one, alcohol may be the temptation; to another, it may be impure thoughts and acts; to another, greed and covetousness; to another, criticism and an unloving attitude.

Regardless of what it may be, be sure that Satan will tempt you at your weak point, not the strong.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ has given us an example of how to overcome the devil’s temptations.

When He was tempted in the wilderness, He defeated Satan every time by the use of the Bible.

Dearly beloved, temptation is not a sin, but falling into it is a sin. Don't place yourself in a position to be tempted, so that you don't tempt your Lord.

Praise the Lord!

May you overcome every temptation that comes your way today in Jesus' name.......

To overcome temptation, salvation is essential. Will you surrender your life to Him today?

LET US PRAY:
1. Thank God for the victory He gave to you in the past.

2. Pray to God to shield you with His Word, whenever you face temptation.

TODAY'S DEVOTION (12/08/26):

TRUE BEAUTY

"As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion." Proverbs 11:22........

Physical beauty without strength of character is like a robust coconut with a black content - it is worthless.

As there is nothing great in the world but man, there is nothing truly great in man but character.

Character fortified with the knowledge of Christ is the only charm which attracts favour with God and man; Proverbs 11:27.

This is the true beauty, and it is internal, rather than external.

True beauty is tantamount to righteousness, but physical beauty without any relationship with God is wickedness against Him in scriptural parlance.

Some women and ladies take to the streets nearly naked in the name of showcasing their beauty. Such beauty is vain and it is wickedness and abomination in the sight of God.

Apostle Peter mentions in 2 Peter 1:5-9 the indices for true beauty to be diligence, faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity.

Other elements of the inner beauty are liberality and soul-winning.

Liberality is the art of giving - giving to God and for the good of others; Proverbs 11:24-26.

True beauty also attracts others to godliness and holiness in form of soul-winning; Proverbs 11:30.

Dearly beloved, beauty without the fear of the Lord is vain.

Praise the Lord!

May your life be beautified inside out in Jesus' name......

Jesus Christ is the Source of true beauty. He still transforms the worst of sinners to the best of saints if given a chance. Will you give Him a chance today?

ACTION POINT:
Beautify yourself with scriptural deodorants and see yourself moving mountains.

TODAY'S DEVOTION (11/08/26):

TAME YOUR TONGUE

"If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." James 1:26.......

The problems of the world could be solved overnight if men could get victory over their tongues.

Suppose there was no anger, no profanity, no lying, no grumbling or complaining; suppose there were no dirty stories told, no unjust criticism - what a different world this would be!

The Bible teaches that a man who can control his tongue can control his whole personality.

We should ask ourselves three questions before we speak: Is it true? Is it kind? Does it glorify Christ?

Dearly beloved, if we would always think before we speak, there would be much less evil speaking, and there would soon be a spiritual awakening that would sweep the church all over the world.

Praise the Lord!

May your tongue never put you in trouble today in Jesus' name......

The only person who can help tame your tongue is Jesus. Accept Him today, and overcome the devil. Are you ready?

LET US PRAY:
1. Pray to God to remember how important it is to keep a check on your tongue.

2. Pray that your conversation today will be pleasing in God's sight.

Good Morning, And Be Tongue-Conscious Today!

TODAY'S DEVOTION (10/08/26):

HIS THOUGHTS TOWARDS YOU

"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee." Psalms 139:17-18........

Did you know God is thinking about you right now? He thinks about you constantly. You are always on His mind.

Do you know what He’s thinking? He’s not thinking about all that you’ve done wrong in your life. No, He’s thinking about the good things He has in store for your future.

Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His plans are to prosper us and to give us a future and a hope.

Do you know what else He’s thinking? He’s thinking about how much He loves you. He’s not mad at you; He’s madly in love with you!

Let that love bring security to your heart and mind. The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear.

Dearly beloved, just take a deep breath right now and breathe in His love and peace. When you receive His love, it drives out fear and gives you confidence to embrace the good things He has in store for your future!

Hallelujah!

May the Lord continue to have a good plan for you in Jesus' name........

God thinks more about His children more than He thinks about those who are outside His will. Are you in the will of God? Come to Jesus today!

LET US PRAY:
1. Thank God for thinking of you, and for the good work He is doing in your life.

2. Pray to God to receive His love which drives out all fear, and make you new as you meditate on Him.

TODAY'S DEVOTION (30/07/26):

HOW WILL YOU LIVE?

"And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." Mark 14:62........

The world in which we live is full of pessimism. No Christian has the scriptural right to go around wringing his hands wondering what we are to do in the face of the present world situation.

The Scripture says that in the midst of persecution, confusion, wars, and rumors of wars, we are to comfort one another with the knowledge that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back in triumph, glory, and majesty.

Many times when we go to bed at night, we think to ourselves that before we wake up, Christ may come.

Sometimes when we get up and look at the dawn, we think that perhaps this is the day He will come.

He has told us Christians to be watching constantly and to be ready, “for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:44.

Do you think Christ will come today? “Probably not,” you say. It is on just such a day that He may come. What a glorious time of reunion it’s going to be, when we shall be caught up with Him!

Glory be to God!

May you be ready when He shall come in Jesus' name.......

Jesus Christ is coming back again. No controversy! Do you agree? Surrender your life to Him today. Are you ready?

LET US PRAY:
1. Thank God for the hope of having the joy of seeing Jesus face to face.

2. Pray to God to be ready when Jesus shall come.

Good Morning, And Be Rapturable!

TODAY'S DEVOTION (29/07/26):

ALIGN YOUR THOUGHTS

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee." Proverbs 23:7........

Sometimes we need to just stop and think about what we are thinking about!

The Bible tells us that what happens on the inside of us: our thoughts, attitudes and motives are more important to God than what happens on the outside.

You can fool people all day long by saying the right things, but the scripture tells us that God is looking at our hearts.

He wants our thoughts and attitudes to come into alignment with His Word so that we can see His promises come to pass in our lives.

Remember, your life will follow the course you set with your mind. When you align your thoughts with God’s thoughts, your life will follow Him.

*Jeremiah 29* tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His thoughts are for our peace. His thoughts are for our victory!

Dearly beloved, today, align your thoughts with His thoughts by meditating on His Word. Embrace His promises so that you can move forward into the life of victory He has prepared for you!

Hallelujah!

May your thoughts be aligned with God's thoughts today in Jesus' name.......

If you want to think like Jesus, you need to surrender your life to Him today. Are you ready?

LET US PRAY:
1. Thank God for the will of God for your life.

2. Pray to God to help you surrender every area of your life to Him. Help your thoughts to line up with His Word. Bring His promises to your remembrance as you meditate on Him today.

TODAY'S DEVOTION (28/07/26):

OUR ETERNAL HOME

"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." Isaiah 65:17.......

What kind of place is Heaven?

First, Heaven is home. The Bible takes the word “home” with all of its tender associations and with all of its sacred memories and tells us that Heaven is home.

Second, Heaven is a home which is permanent. We have the promise of a home where Christ’s followers will remain forever.

Third, the Bible teaches that Heaven is a home which is beautiful beyond every imagination. Heaven could not help but be so, because God is a God of beauty.

Fourth, the Bible teaches that Heaven will be a home which is happy, because there will be nothing to make it sad.

In Heaven, families and friends will be reunited. God’s house will be a happy home because Christ will be there. He will be the centre of Heaven.

To Him all hearts will turn, and upon Him all eyes will rest.

Hallelujah!

May you make it to heaven in Jesus' name......

Making it to Heaven requires the salvation of your soul. Are you saved?

ACTION POINT:
As you think of the promise of an eternal home with Jesus Christ and the reunion with your loved ones, rejoice!

TODAY'S DEVOTION (27/07/26):

LEAN ON JESUS

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Proverbs 3:5........

Are you facing a situation that seems like it has no logical solution? Sometimes we have to turn our minds off, stop trying to figure it all out, stop over-analyzing, and stop researching everything.

When you don’t see the answer in the natural realm, it’s time to stop leaning on your own understanding and choose to trust God.

Sometimes our minds can be a distraction to our “inner sensor” or that place inside where God speaks to our hearts.

Our minds can allow fear and dread to distract us from what God is trying to tell us. That’s why the scripture says that we can’t lean on our own understanding.

We have to take time to shut off the distractions, shut off fear, and listen to what’s going on inside of us.

In our hearts faith rises up. That’s where all of the sudden, you’ll feel a spark of hope even when things look impossible.

Dearly beloved, no matter what it looks like in the natural, choose to lean on Him. Trust that He has favour in store for your future.

Trust that something good is about to happen. Trust Him because He alone can take you to new levels in every area of your life!

Hallelujah!

As you lean on Jesus today, may you never be disappointed in Jesus' name.......

Only those who have part in Jesus can lean on Him. Do you have part in Him? Begin today.

ACTION POINT:
Choose to lean on Him today. Choose to trust that He is working on your behalf. And that you won't put your confidence in what you see, but you will trust in His Word which remains true forever.

24/07/2026

TODAY'S DEVOTION (24/07/26):

COMMANDED TO REJOICE

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11.......

There is a rejoicing that is common to all men, it is a feeling of joy that depends on situations and circumstances around us and it is temporal and short-lived: this joy is unsubstantial and temporal.

However, there is a delight that comes with God’s presence. It is divine and powerful; the joy of the Lord. This joy is also called the ‘joy of salvation.'

It is real! It is a great kind of joy! it is endless! And it is an everlasting joy that brings down the presence of God into the hearts of men.

What makes rejoicing in the Lord so important that God had to repeatedly command us to rejoice? It is the very first miracle that happens to a person when he becomes born again. The joy of the Lord is immediately shed in the heart of the fellow.

The unspeakable expression of the joy of salvation is therefore the most vital and undeniable proof that a person is genuinely born of God.

God commanded His people to rejoice, He was not giving a suggestion or permission, neither did He make it a matter of choice. We are compelled to rejoice in the Lord as a necessary ingredient to the Christian faith.

Dearly beloved, rejoicing is founded on and derived through the Word of God, it is needful in affliction, and it brings comfort and strength to press forward in times of trouble.

Praise the Lord!

May you rejoice forever in Jesus' name........

The first joy is derived from the salvation of your soul. Are you saved?

LET US PRAY:
1. Thank God for the joy of the Lord always.

2. Pray to God to fill your heart with His heavenly joy today.

Good Morning, And Be Joyful Today!
