MAKE PREPARATIONS

"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." Isaiah 49:3......

Everyone goes through seasons of waiting. A lot of times, people just sit back and wait for God to do something. But did you ever think that God might be waiting on you to do your part?

Part of making preparations means talking like it’s going to happen and acting like it’s going to happen. Some people might say, “Well, what if I do this and it doesn’t happen?”

But, what if you do, and it does happen? And even if things don’t turn out the way you had hoped, you’re still better off living your life filled with expectancy than going around down and discouraged.

David said, “God, my times are in Your hands.” He was saying, “God, I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know You know what’s best for me.”

Dearly beloved, you're going out today expecting good things. And even if it doesn’t happen, you're not going to go to bed all disappointed.

You're going to go to bed knowing that you're one day closer to seeing your dreams and desires come to pass.

May God visit you with your miraculous expectations today, in Jesus' name......

Jesus is expecting you to come to Him. Will you come to Him today?

REVIVAL THROUGH PRAYER

"After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight." Hosea 6:2.....

Prayer is a divine mechanism that God gave to Christians as a means of communicating with heaven. It is also a very powerful weapon for spiritual warfare.

A man who has a fervent prayer life walks with God; no journey can be more blessed and productive than the one taken with the Almighty God through prayer.

Simple prayers offered for individuals, the local community, the nation and the Church were responsible for much of the great miracles and moves of God in different parts of the world in history; James 4:2.

When we speak of a revival, it must be clear to all that there is never such a thing as a revival if it does not start with prayer. Every revival in history came to be as result of prayer.

God is especially pleased to answer any prayer that is focused on the revival of God’s work and God’s people.

Therefore as individuals, we need revival in our personal lives, we need revival in our local communities, and we need revival in our nation.

The Church of God also needs revival for renewal, re-dedication and spiritual empowerment.

Praise the Lord!

THE ATTITUDE OF AN OVERCOMER

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1 John 5:4.....

Are you facing some challenges or experiencing some unexpected setbacks? We all have things that come against us, but God didn’t create us to be overwhelmed and overcome, He created us to be overcomers!

During the times when we face challenges, it’s our attitude that is most important.

Think about it for a minute. When something isn’t going your way month after month, how do you respond?

Are you tempted to get sour or start expecting the worst? Does your mind start going “ninety-to-nothing” playing out all the scenarios?

It may be easy to get down and discouraged, but if we go around thinking it’s never going to work out, our attitude limits what God can do.

But when we dig our heels in knowing that God is bigger than our problems, when we fight the good fight of faith, that’s what allows God to show up and turn negative situations around.

Dearly beloved, remember, you are created to overcome. There is victory already in store for your future. Stand strong with the attitude of an overcomer and watch what God will do on your behalf!

WHAT IS GOD LIKE?

"If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there." Psalms 139:8......

I believe it is possible to know what God is like. The Bible declares that God is Spirit, that He is not limited to body; John 4:24.

He is not limited to shape; He is not limited to force; He is not limited to boundaries or bonds; He is absolutely immeasurable.

Some people looked for God in the air, in the moon; and they couldn't find Him there, they concluded by saying, "There is no God."

Thousands of people are trying to limit God to certain spheres, and relegate Him to certain categories that are the product of their own speculation.

There is no limit to God. There is no limit to His wisdom. There is no limit to His power. There is no limit to His love. There is no limit to His mercy.

Men change, fashions change, conditions and circumstances change, but God never changes.

Hallelujah!

May you know who God really is today in Jesus' name.......

You might have limited God so many times. You need to know who He really is. Give your life to Jesus today, and experience more of God. Are you ready?

TODAY'S DEVOTION (05/06/26):

NO FEAR

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18.....

Do you know what the anecdote for fear is? The first thing many people would say is faith. However, the scripture tells us that perfect love is what drives out all fear.

When we truly understand how much God loves us, what can we possibly be afraid of? The Bible tells us that God is love.

When we are one with God through a relationship with His Son, Jesus, we are wrapped in perfect love.

We can find security in His love. We can find peace in His love. We can find refuge, provision and joy in His love.

His love knows no limits. It has no boundaries. His love never changes. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you any more, and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you any less.

Dearly beloved, open your heart and receive His love today. Meditate on His goodness and faithfulness. As you do, those old fears will melt away, and you will move confidently into the life of victory He has prepared for you.

God's love is everlasting. It drives away fear and gives you boldness and faith. This can only happen in Jesus. Have you surrendered your life to Him? Think wisely!

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." Psalms 51:10......

You were created in the image and likeness of God. You were made for God’s fellowship, and your heart can never be satisfied without His communion.

Just as iron is attracted to a magnet, the soul in its state of hunger is drawn to God.

Though you, like thousands of others, may feel in the state of sin that the world is more alluring and more to your liking, some day, perhaps even now as you read these words, you will acknowledge that there is something deep down inside you which cannot be satisfied by the alloy of earth.

Then with David, the Psalmist who had sampled the delicacies of sin and had found them unsatisfying, you will say, “Oh God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.”

Dearly beloved, how do you long for God, yet so often your heart is drawn away from His leading? Like David, you should desire a clean heart.

Praise the Lord!

May you find your place in God today in Jesus' name.....

Do you find sin interesting? Are you aware that you were created in the image of God? Do something about the salvation of your soul today. Are you ready?

CHOOSE FAITH TODAY

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:9......

In the same way that faith opens the door for God to work in our lives, fear opens the door for the enemy to work in our lives.

The Bible says that fear brings torment. Fear has no mercy. If you act on fear instead of acting on faith, it will keep you depressed, miserable and lonely.

So many people today are missing out on God’s joy, peace and victory because they keep giving in to fear.

They feed fear by what they watch on Television, see on social media, read in the news or on the internet, or hear from unverifiable sources. Don’t let that be you!

Romans tells us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. The more you fill your heart and mind with God’s Word, the stronger your faith will be so you can stand against the powers of darkness. Choose faith instead of fear by choosing God’s Word.

Remember, the power that is in you is greater than the power of fear. When thoughts come that say, “You’re not able,” choose faith by saying, “I can do all things through Christ!”

Dearly beloved, choose faith, overcome fear and live in the freedom God has in store for you!

If you have faith in God Almighty, you should be able to surrender your life to His Son, Jesus. Think about this and decide wisely today.

Beloved,

I want to thank God on your behalf for making it to this month of June. It is rare priviledge, and we shouldn't take it for granted.

Praise the Lord!

In this month that divides the year into two equal halves, your life will experience greater glory in Jesus' name.

Whatever you ask from God this month, the response from Him shall be greater than your expectation in Jesus' name.

This month, your one request will turn out to be multiple answers from God, your seat will be beautified in a greater measure, your glory shall be louder, and the sleeping giant in you will rise for glory in Jesus' name.

I declare and decree, your glory will come out of the hidden place, and begin to receive the deserved recognition in Jesus' name.

Life is a glorious opportunity, if it is used to condition us for eternity. If we fail in this, though we succeed in everything else, our life will have been a failure.

There is no escape for the man who squanders his opportunity to prepare to meet God. Our lives are also immortal.

God made man different from the other creatures. He made him in His own image, a living soul.

When this body dies and our earthly existence is terminated, the soul lives on forever.

One thousand years from this day, you will be more alive than you are at this moment.

The Bible teaches that life does not end at the cemetery. There is a future life with God for those who put their trust in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Dearly beloved, what are you doing with your life now? Be relevant!

The life you live today is an opportunity. You can make it more meaningful if you can surrender your life to Jesus. Are you ready?

1. Thank God for the eternal life in Christ and for the peace that comes over you because of the triumphant promise!

SET THE TONE

"I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalms 34:1.....

When you wake up in the morning, what’s the first thing you do? Do you look for God’s goodness? Do you set the tone for success, favour and blessing?

We are almost in the second half of the year. This half may have had some hardships and difficulties, but it’s time to set the tone for a new season.

The scripture tells us that the darker it gets in the world, the brighter it’s going to be for God’s people.

Things may be bad all around you. People may be negative, complaining and discouraged, but don’t let that spirit rub off on you.

The worse it gets, the brighter you are going to shine.

Dearly beloved, be determined to set the tone for the new half by praising God and speaking words of faith over your future!

May you set the right tone today in Jesus' name.......

Only Jesus can help to set the right tone. All you need is to surrender your life to Him. Are you ready?
