Prayer and Fasting Day
Wednesday, 17th March, 2021
Eph. 5:22-33
Prayer Points:-
1. Let's come before our Father and God today with thanksgiving. Our God is Good and His Mercies endure forever.
2. Once again, let's give thanks unto our God for every marriage and home in FOTA. Thank God for keeping our marriages intact and helping couples to live in peace and joy by wisdom and understanding.
3. As we continue to pray over our homes, let's ask God for the Grace that couples need to live with themselves according to His Word.
4. Wisdom is truly profitable to direct. Let's ask Father for the wisdom that husbands and wives need to live together honouring God and pleasing each other.
5. Let's pray that God will help us remove every negative influence over marriages in our Church, especially break every demonic influence that comes through social media in Jesus Name.
6. We pray today that every home will be filled with joy and peace of the Lord. That Christ will indeed reign in our homes.
7. Let us rebuke the spirit behind separation and divorce and ask God to keep our marriages whole in Jesus Name.
8. Today, we need to pray for healing in marriage relationships that have gone sour. Pray that God will heal hurting hearts and couples will both give and receive forgiveness in Jesus Name.
9. Let's come against the works of the flesh in our homes. Let's ask that God will fill every heart with the Fruit of His Spirit; that love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faith, patience, humility and self-discipline will abound in every marriage.
10. Let's ask God to help couples learn how to use words to edify and not tear each other down. Father, please help us use words that are seasoned with Grace. Let there be understanding between every husband and his wife in Jesus Name.
Finally, begin to thank God for answered prayers and for the Grace to wait in prayers before Him again today. There will be testimonies in Jesus Name.
