See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are!... (1John 3:1 NLT)

God wants a family, and he created you to be a part of it. This is God's second purpose for your life, which he planned before you were born.

Every human being was created by God, but not everyone is a child of God. The only way to get into God's family is by being born again into it. You became part of the human family by your first birth, but you become a member of God's family by your second birth.

The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Numbers 6:26.

*By the Mercy and Grace of the most high God, I pray with you this wonderful morning that!*
Henceforth! The Lord God Almighty will surround you with His mercy, calm every raging storm in your life and settle you on every side, in Jesus name.

Your expectations shall not be cut short, your glory shall not be covered, your destiny will not be truncated, your prayers shall receive urgent attention, there shall be no loss in your life, in Jesus name.

This day shall bring a total end to every form of disappointment in your life. The land you walk on will produce blessings, the sky above you will release happiness over your life, the breeze around you will blow peace, in Jesus name

THE POWER OF THOUGHTS

The human mind has a tremendous amount of power in our lives.That which holds our attention determines our actions. Because of that, where we are today is the result of the dominating thoughts in our minds. And the way we think determines what our attitudes are. The good news is that you and I can change that. You can control your thoughts, and because of that, you can control your attitude.

Your thinking prompts your emotion. That’s key, we can control our thoughts. Our feelings come from our thoughts.We can control our feelings by changing how we think.

Why is that important? Because your attitude is your emotional approach to life. It’s the framework through which you see events, other people, even yourself. That’s why I believe the saying, “You are not what you think you are, but what you think . . . you are.”

Glorious Family Daily Devotional August 23rd 2026

Cleansed by the Blood
.. unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Revelation 1:5

Blood is mentioned 460 times in the Bible. Fourteen times in the New Testament Jesus spoke of His own blood. Why? Because by the shedding of His blood, He accomplished the possibility of our salvation. He paid the penalty for our sin and redeemed us. The penalty for our sin and rebellion is death; Jesus stepped out and said, “I’ll take that death.” He voluntarily laid down His life and took the penalty we deserve. That’s what the cross is all about.

The blood of Jesus Christ not only redeems us, it justifies us. Being justified means more than being forgiven. I can say, “I forgive you,” but I can’t justify you. But God not only forgives the past, He clothes you in righteousness as though you had never committed a sin. Yet it cost the blood of His Son on the cross.

A Servant Leader

Matt, 20v25-26,, Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.

You don't need a titles to be a leader. Although our culture values titles, the truth is that titles are ultimately empty, and you must learn to see them that way. People who make it their career goals to gain certain titles or positions are not setting themselves up to be the best leaders they can be.

The person you are and the work you do are what really matters. If the work is significant and adds value to people, then it doesn't need to come with a title.

Developing an awareness that position is the lowest level of leadership brings a healthy sense of dissatisfaction with the title as well as a desire to grow and create positive change.

A position is not a worthy destination for any person's life; it is only the starting point on your leadership journey. By John Maxwell.
