The teens took over the service today with the theme, "Dwelling in His Purpose." They ministered in song, dance and drama, and they led us in prayer, in praise and in the Word.
We have been blessed through our heritage of God in His presence. 🙌🏽🔥

*The Drama*

A well-knit family went through tough times. Then, things get better. Father is always talking money talk but providing for the family. No more time and presence in their personal journeys.

The well raised children get to Uni and get influenced by bad associates. Soon, the 3 siblings get into trouble. Two of the girls get pregnant. The boy gets mixed up with drug peddling and gets arrested.

TEENAGERS' CALL

- Not every broken child is raised in a broken home.

- Parents give attention to your children.
- Deep-talk with them.
- Be present and interested in what they are doing.
- Let it not always be about the money you have provided, about the schools you have paid for, about the clothes you have provided.

Get to know your children.

• They need care.
•They need attention
• They need guidance.
•They need your friendship.

*THEME/TOPIC:* *Dwelling in God's Purpose*

(Jeremiah 29:11)

God has a predestined thought for us. He desires that we fulfil purpose.

*What is Purpose?*

Purpose an endeavour in which a person must succeed at; and in which if he doesn't succeed at it, every other doing he did (and even excelled in) failed the mark.

God expects us to dwell in the purpose for which He formed us and sent us into the world.

*FOUR STRAINS OF GOD'S PURPOSE FOR US*

1. LIFE AND SALVATION IN JESUS
(John 10:10) God wants us to have His life. He wants to be saved. And we are saved by believing that Jesus is Lord and confessing it (Romans 10:9). We must gravitate towards the yearnings of the Spirit over the flesh. Salvation is in Christ alone.

2. SANCTIFICATION (2 Tom 2:21).

God wants us to set ourselves apart for Him. We build capacity when we sanctify ourselves.

3. TRANSFORMATION (Romans 8:29. 12:1-2).

This is the spiritual process that occurs in the life of a believer as he renews his mind in the word of God. Transformation requires prayer, fellowship with the word and constant meditation on the word. The fruit of the Spirit is evidence of a transformed heart.

4. DOMINATION (Matthew 6:6-10).

Your domination ensures that you see to it that God's will is done.

Through us, the nations are blessed. We are God's love letter to the world. Evangelism is key for every child of God. We must tell the world about the love of God.

*WHY DWELL IN PURPOSE?*
(Romans 8:9, 23)

1. The whole creation is earnestly waiting for our revealing. Our destinies are interconnected in the purpose of showing off His praise in all that we do. We must carry the Kingdom into everywhere we go.

2. God will ask us what we did with our lives. We will not miss it.

*DECLARE OVER YOURSELF*

I am saved.
I am sanctified.
I am transformed by the word.
I dominate my world.

Why do teenagers find it hard to speak their real thoughts on issues to their parents?

*TEENS’ RESPONSES*

- Not wanting to be harshly judged.
- Not finding the conducive atmosphere soon enough.
- Not wanting to be misunderstood
- Aversion to more tension.
- Not wanting to be shouted down and inhibited from expressing

*WHAT SHOULD A PARENT DO TO HELP THE CHILD TALK? (Response from Parents)*

- Know your child
- Let your child breathe and relate properly with you.
- Build your child’s confidence.
- Make an early start with being the person they can still talk to as like when they were smaller.
- Keep the conversation doors open.
- Shape your child in the culture of your house. Make it one that encourages forthrightnes.
- Be guided by today's parenting skills.
- Having talking times. Create the atmosphere. Talk about your own struggles as a child as a way of encouraging the child to open up.

- It is good to show gratitude to your parents in every possible way.
- Show them your signs of what you really desire.
- Communicate your desire
- Meet your parents expectations but also privately study the course in which your heart is anchored. Ensure you excel. Give them “their degree” and anchor in your chosen path.

The Youth went all out at the finale of The Complete Youth Conference 3.0, and we ate a balanced meal during the ministration of Pst. godswilloyor and we certainly can't wait for the next edition.

HOLY GHOST AND POWER
(Acts 10:38)

We are forever grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost - the Comforter, the Helper. The Holy Ghost has attributes that we must know in order not to under-utilize Him. With discovery comes greater utilization and maximization of the privilege of the access we have through the Holy Ghost.

The circumstances around you do not define the Holy Ghost. His residency inside you is so that everything that is possible with God is possible in your life.

Anything that is joined with God is of One Spirit with Him and this Spirit is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is one and the same. The Holy Ghost in the big man of God is the same with the Holy Ghost in you. The difference between two people with the same Holy Ghost is the interaction one has with Him.

Today, we are not giving ourselves to the earnest discipline of unpacking His benefits; perhaps we got Him free.

Righteousness brings us into the responsibility of partnering with the Holy Ghost.

We must do our Christian walk by mouth to mouth receiving from this Spirit (Romans 8:11 N KJV, TPT, MSG, AMPC). This life of God in you empowers and equips you to affect your environment. This gift of the Kingdom is not destined for you alive; but your family, city, nation and the world. It is a cover beyond you. The largeness is to provide preservation, covering for others. God gave you this gift for the sake of men.

As you engage with Him, wrong attitudes and posture (fear, stagnation etc) stop and flee.

He lives in you. The full embodiment of the power of the Almighty lives in YOU because YOU are a child of God. (Romans 8:11).

He says “come boldly”. His perfect love has cast out every fear. The Father's forgiveness is total, eternal and unconditional. He told Peter that forgiveness is 70x7. It means His forgiveness is ever flowing. You stand forever forgiven before Him because of Jesus who has fought you into Himself. The Father hears your prayer. Nothing stands between you and His love. After you have prayed, switch to thanksgiving. Believe Him. Show your believing. Your thanksgiving is your greatest demonstration of your faith. Pray and switch to thanking Him if you judge Him faithful and able.

Your faith is the assurance and rest that what you are asking for is done in Him. He instructs us with His word; not with punishment, not with sickness, not like curses,not with pain. He is a loving daddy. If we (as parents) do not teach our children with sickness, are we more loving than God??

Paul had an encounter and thereafter received the Holy Ghost for the exploits he was set to do. When you come under the influence of the Holy Ghost, it is for work and for demonstration. (Acts 10:38).

Jesus did not promise no worries but He promised us victory because He has done it. We move from the position of rest in the victory He has wrought. He didn't win the victory for us to go and fight for the things he has already won.

What Jesus did by the righteousnessness He bequeathed us is our certificate. Jesus already paid for all we seek. He finished it. What you ought to do now is to discover all He has bequeathed you. By His victory, you run through troops and you leap.over walls.

PRAY

In the name of Jesus, we come by the blood for redemption, for cleansing, for sanctification, for justification. We express faith in the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. We have received your mercy by this sacrifice and we bless you for all you have done, We move in this might and we receive and walk healed of every infirmity and transgression, in your name, Lord Jesus! (Matthew 10:8)

*HOLY GHOST AND POWER*
(Acts 10:38)

Three institutions where all men become and are seen as equal are:

i. The market (either as a buyer or seller) Revelations 18:11-15

ii. The grave. There is no hierarchy in the grave. All men - great or small must go to the dust (Job 1:20-21)

iii. The church (Galatians 3:28) No Jew, no Greek, no male, no female, no master, no slave, no bond,no free. (John 17:20; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13).

The church is unified by Christ and the Holy Spirit. He is the administrator of harmony in the church.

Unified in Christ, you are a member of His body (leg, hand, feet, eyes, nose, etc). What is your role? Are you situated in the right place, manifesting your gift and playing your ordained role? Are you in your location? Sometimes, it could be that you are not manifesting the power in your gift because manifestation can be location-specific.

*WHO IS THE HOLY GHOST?*

In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit was represented as wind, oil, bird, fire; but in the New Testament, He was revealed as one in the triune Godhead.

-Genesis 1:1-2: has the first mention of the Holy Ghost. He is the Spirit in the move of the Spirit at creation.

-Matthew 3:14-16: At the baptism of Jesus, the Holy Spirit alighted on Jesus.

-Matthew 28:18-19: He is one with the Father.

-Acts 7:54-55: The Holy Spirit is the enlightening power that filled Stephen at the time of his stoning.

-The Holy Spirit is God (Acts,5:3-4). He is the manifestation of the presence of God and custodian of the power of God.

-He is the wisdom of God (Isaiah 7:3). He6 is the author of Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15-16).
Ignoring the Holy Spirit in an attempt to study Scripture is an error. It is wisdom to ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten your eyes of understanding of the Word.

*HOW DOES THE BELIEVER RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT?*

• At salvation (EPHESIANS 1:13)

• Through Prayer and Asking (Luke 11:13)

• Laying on of hands (Cornelius in Acts 10:44).

• When we hear the Gospel and believe (Acts 10:44)

*THE 3 FOLD MINISTRY OF THE HOLY GHOST*

- Ministry Conviction

- Ministry of Transformation

- Ministry of Empowerment (grace to fulfil purpose, power to do good)

- What signs have been following you after you have believed?

- Are things not working out? What are you experiencing? - Delays, Rejection, Discouragement, Denial, Disfavour etc.

✓ You need the power of the Holy Ghost.

NOW THAT I AM A MOUNTAIN MOVER

Every office and role has its demands and responsibilities. Now, we are mountain movers and battle axes. We have achieved this new status and in this role we are to influence situations and advance the visions of the Kingdom.

POSTURES/ATTRIBUTES FOR THE ACHIEVING MOUNTAIN MOVER

HUMILITY.
God is the mountain mover. We are instruments in God's hand to move mountains. (Zechariah 4:6-7). Mountains will move according to the amount of grace you carry and for you to carry grace, you need humility. Paul attributed the things he did to grace. Humility is to yield all that you are and have (expertise, skill, intellect, strength etc) to God. We must recognize that we are limited. Humility is to depend on the limitless God and realize that you are nothing without Him. As believers, we are to be clothed with humility (1 Peter 5:5).

COURAGEOUS FAITH
An active mountain mover must have an attitude of faith and courage. He stands firm irrespective of appearing oppositions. (2 Samuel 23:12). There are times we must stand; sometimes, alone. We must change our perspectives of ourselves. Courage is the demonstration of your faith. When you find yourself standing alone, call up divine intervention; be not afraid. God is with you as His child and you must demonstrate trust in Him who can do all things. (Deuteronomy 20:4)

Some mountains are seasonal. Some are generational. Some are for a lifetime, but whichever one that confronts you, let the word of God always be in your mouth. By it, you will have good success.

PRAY

Lord, give me grace to be humble. Give me the courage to stand. You have made a mountain mover; I need your grace. I am your instrument to move mountains, strengthen me. Empower me. Make me be conscious like Shammah, of who I am in God. Thank you for I know your are my victory over every mountain. Wherever any mountain stands before me, your grace will melt them away, in Jesus name. Amen.
